About: While I don’t currently have any pets of my own, I have experience dog sitting for family and friends pets. I work from home and am able to take your furry friend out and about for potty breaks throughout the work day. After work I love taking long walks through the city and I can’t wait to have company if your pet is up for it! Dogs have been a part of my life since I was little and I have always consider them family. Pets are encouraged to snuggle up next to me on the couch while I’m working and in bed for the night. Chris also took them to the great dog parks nearby, and Judy had a great time exploring there as well. It was also nice that all the dogs got along, which made everything feel easy and comfortable. About: Grew up with pitbulls and cats in the house. I really enjoy being around them and they fit into my daily/weekly schedule extremely well. Im never away from the house for more than 4 hours and I walk for 1-3 hours everyday, I have the time to consistently walk the doggies 3-5x everyday. No dog will go without exercise when they stay with me, and if they like to be a couch potato that's ok too, I accommodate to any activity/energy level!

She took them on frequent walks, communicative about eating, treats, potty, and nap time and sent many pictures. I’d recommend her to anyone with small-medium dogs that need somewhere to go either sitting or boarding. One issue I faced which wasn’t a huge deal, was in the middle of my reservation the rate of sitting increased to almost double the initial rate I paid for. My intial booking was 15/day and I asked for one more day of sitting, and the entire reservation was modified to 25/day. It caught me off guard since it was the middle of the week and I was caught off guard with the new price. The service was worth the new rate, just wanted transparency there.”

Mikka has spent the day with them 2 times now while I go to work and Mikka is now "a regular" every week. She has developed few anxiety issues during the pandemic and can be a bit reactive around other dogs, so I've been very hesitant about doggy day care in any other capacity, but Allen has listened to my concerns and been extremely careful with keeping an eye on her or introducing her to any other dog he's watching or who is using the magical little private gated dog park behind his house. He's been super helpful in correcting some of her behavior issues (like a very loud persistent bark that has made me crazy!), sends photos and updates frequently, and is very quick to communicate even in between stays. I'm so relieved my anxious dog is getting playtime and has such good care that I can trust every Tuesday, and she's making new dog friends finally. Thank you, Allen!”

About: Owner of English Lab for 5.5 years and she is my World. Got her at 3 months. Life Changer. She makes everyone around her (me included) feel like the most important person in the World. I also grew up with an American Lab which I cared and loved for, for 13yrs. My family got her when she was just a puppy at a year old (I was 13) and she lived to be 13yrs when she passed (I was 26). She is the reason I started to really love dogs. I’ve also volunteered at the Oregon Humane Society quite a bit over the past 5yrs That has been a very rewarding experience. I currently work Fridays-Mondays in the medical field and have a lot of free time on my days off. I usually take Millie, my Lab, for a 2hr walk in the surrounding neighborhoods and try to get her down to the river once a week to swim. It’s by far her favorite activity and she’s a master swimmer. About: I've loved animals ever since I was a small kid. I grew up raising 3 rats, 3 cats, and a Great Pyrenees. I have experience walking neighborhood dogs, as well as taking care of hamsters and cats while their owners were on vacation. I currently have no pets due to my building's rules, so I'd take any excuse to help take care of a fluffy creature. About: As a dog owner of my own for 7 years and growing up with pets, I know how important it is to find someone who will care for your pets like they’re family. Thats me! I will care for your animals like they are my own and will always strive to give them a positive encounter. I have experience with senior dogs as well as puppies (around 3 weeks old and up). I know sometimes extra care is needed and will always prioritize their comfort and well being. Additionally, I am good with shy and/or skittish dogs and know how to help them feel safe while showing them I am trustworthy and gentle. My experience with cats is about 10 years. I am currently in school which helps my schedule be decently flexible. Most of my classes are online so I can be home with dogs the majority of the day! My dog, Sage, is a thriving child of divorce and is with her Dad until August. If your dog is staying with me, I have a fenced area in the condo units where I live. Condo is single story. There are several parks close by, including the Alberta Park Dog Off Leash Area which is not fenced. If you are comfortable and your dog has good recall to me, I can take your dog there, too. If they prefer to be leashed the whole time, other parks are close and we will have just as much fun! If I am picking your dog up to walk and return to your home, I will take the utmost care to be gentle and respectful of your animal and home. It can be strange for animals to have someone new in their space and I will make sure they know I am a safe person. If pet parents are amenable, I usually have small training treats I give my dog on walks and can do the same for your dog! I have experience ranging from very young puppies to senior dogs as well as post surgery care.

“My dog Judy had a blast boarding with Chris, Bear and Cosmo. The accommodations were super dog friendly, with dog gates, doors, and especially the huge yard setup where the dogs had tons of space to run, play, and burn off energy. Judy got plenty of exercise and there was more than enough room for larger dogs to be comfortable too. Chris also took them to the great dog parks nearby, and Judy had a great time exploring there as well. It was also nice that all the dogs got along, which made everything feel easy and comfortable. Judy came home happy, tired, and had a great time during her stay. It was obvious she was being very well cared for and getting lots of attention the whole time. Thanks Chris!”

I’m so grateful for sitters who truly love dogs and understand dog behaviors. Dash is by no means a problematic dog but he experienced some anxiety with another sitter that I had no choice but to switch sitters mid booking.
