Alison & Tom have been absolutely amazing with our pup, Pangea! They walked her a couple of times last week and were our first choice when we needed a last-minute walk—thankfully, they were super accommodating. We’re so excited to have them walking her for the next week too! Their communication is excellent—they’re responsive, thoughtful, and always send thorough updates. Each walk comes with a detailed report card (including how many pees, poops, and breaks!), and we always get three adorable photos that truly brighten our day. We feel so lucky to have found them. It’s such a relief knowing Pangea is in such good hands. Highly, highly recommend!

About: I’ve had a love for animals my whole life, I’ve had cats and dogs since I was born and currently have 5 pets at home! (2 dogs 3 cats) I have been house sitting my pets for a few years while my parents go out of town, and have also helped a few family friends with their pets. I have dealt with untrained dogs, high maintenance dogs, seniors, puppies, and urinary issues. I’m currently working part-time from 5-9pm. Before then, I will have all day to tend to your pets and let them out for some exercise and potty breaks. When I do run errands, I am never gone for more than 3 hours at a time. For dog walking, I am able to walk however far your dog needs to ensure they get the right amount of exercise. For sitting, I will make sure your pet gets let out for potty breaks and the proper amount of care during the day, whether it is a walk or a small training exercise. For drop in visits, I will tend to whatever your pet needs during that visit.

About: I have taken care of, and been around dogs, pretty much my whole life. As an adult I have experience with leash/dog reactive dogs, super high energy puppies, done overnights for dogs with separation anxiety. I also have experience training my own dogs and really enjoy it. I am stay at home mom with both my kids in school so I have free time especially in the mornings after school drop off. I am very careful with other people's property. There should be no signs that I've in your home except for well loved, exercised and happy pets.

About: I grew up in the country with many dogs in the family. My parents bred and showed champion Afghan Hounds as well as boarded other breeds of dogs. I have raised and cared for many amazing dogs, cats, horses, goats, rabbits, salamanders and a gold fish named Charlie. My absolute love for all animals and my special bond with my 18 year old rescue, Fez, lead me to managing a local doggy daycare and boarding facility. I learned so much about all kinds of breeds and mixes, puppies and seniors, managing medications, nutrition, play time, and their beautiful personalities. What a wonderful experience that was! My deep love for dogs, hiking, the outdoors and the Oregon weather makes dog walking a true pleasure for me. I can take dogs to Forest Park or just around the neighborhood sidewalks and trails. I have a very flexible schedule and I am happy to take walks, pop in for a visit or look after in your home while you are away. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your best friend and taking great care of them. I have a very flexible schedule and can work around your routine. I love getting out there in the mornings but I am also happily available for walks in the afternoons and evenings until 7:00pm. Safety is the number one priority period. I have a very calming demeanor and can sense what my pet partner is feeling in their environment. My eyes and ears will be focused on your pet and our safety at all times inside or outside, staying 5 steps ahead with their care.

I relo’d here almost a year ago and my biggest anxiety was finding a trusted person to check on my fur baby. He was used to me being home since he was a baby and I was returning to work. I had someone else the first few months but she had to cancel. So when I found Anna it was such a smooth transition, Brodie took a liking to her and I always looked forward to reading the detailed Rover card and pics. I moved and now have help with my partner so unfortunately had to end services 🥹. I highly recommend Anna’s services but it’s more than that it’s genuine CARE for your furiend/fur baby. Hope to resume care in the future or for any one off needs. All the best sweet Anna!

About: I have a busy home with a sweet & energetic German Shepherd, 10 year old daughter, and 14 year old son. We all love animals and enjoy playing and cuddling up when it's not too hot! I work from home most of the time so your pet(s) will get a lot of attention from our family and plenty of potty breaks. I work from home at least half of the time. I typically will be gone no more than 4 hours at a time. If I am gone more than 6 hours I will let you know, but this is not typical. My dog is a great playmate and your pet(s) will get plenty of attention and breaks outside. I have a decent sized home and can accommodate most requests. Your pet will have plenty of space inside and locally outdoors for potty breaks and play time. With 2 kids and a large dog, I am flexible to meet you and your pets needs!

Elizabeth took her time introducing herself to my dog who was a little nervous at first but she won her over in minutes and off they happily went on their walk. My pup came back happy and sufficiently tuckered out. :) Elizabeth gave lots of details about how the walk went and did great with dog handling. I’ll definitely call on her again!

First time using Rover and Adriana is amazing. I have a 7 month old puppy and work from home and needed last minute help with mid-day walks while working on-site. I was an apprehensive “new puppy” mom. Adriana dropped by before the scheduled walks for a meet and greet and I knew immediately my pup was in good hands. She was warm and engaging with my puppy and I highly recommend her.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I have experience with many different breeds of dogs and seniors. I have been known to refer to, as well as treat dogs like my own children. If you choose me to hang out with your dog I will treat them like my own best friend. I also have some experience with cats. Mostly just the basics; feeding, playing, and cleaning/changing out the litter box. I take and follow instructions very well, and if you invite me into your home to take care of your pet I will respect your space and your belongings. I recently moved to Oregon with my partner for his job. My schedule is wide open to take on both regular and one time clients. I will follow all instructions left to care for your pet. It’s very hard for me to leave my dog so I understand the trust that is placed in me to take care of your animal while you’re away. I can send updates and pictures if you’d like. At this moment I can’t bring animals into my home but that could change in the future.

About: Animals have always been at the center of our lives. Together, we share our home with two senior dogs, both 12 years old, and caring for them has given us firsthand experience through every stage of a pet’s life. From the boundless energy of puppies to the special attention senior pets need, we understand how routines, patience, and care make all the difference. Over the years, we became the go-to pet sitters for friends and family, trusted to look after pets of all kinds. From kittens to cats, small dogs to large breeds with big personalities. More recently, we’ve expanded that circle, building a business rooted in reliability, trust, and a genuine love for animals. What sets us apart is the thoughtful, consistent care we bring as a team. We take time to understand your pet’s unique needs and personality so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for as if they were our own. Pet care fits naturally into our daily lives, and with both of us involved, we’re able to offer flexible coverage. Together, we can reliably accommodate walks, drop-ins, or extended visits without rushing or cutting corners. Our goal is to make sure your pet’s routine stays consistent, whether that means a quick midday check-in, evening walks, or longer stretches of care. By working as a team, we’re able to give your pet more attention and you more peace of mind. When we’re in your home, our priority is creating a calm, safe environment for your pet. We follow your instructions closely, from feeding routines to favorite walking routes, because pets thrive on familiarity. You can expect reliable updates and communication from us so you always know how your pet is doing. Above all, we treat your home and your pet with the same care and respect we would want for our own.

About: I've been around dogs of all shapes and sizes my entire life. I've helped out with foster puppies. I've attended training sessions for two of my dogs. I treat every pet like family, making sure they feel loved, safe, and cared for in the owners absence. I am basically free every day of the week except for Saturdays. I work at the farmers market. I should be free from morning to evening. I have a very free schedule. If you need me, I will be there! In the client's home I will follow the dog's usual routine to keep things stress-free and familiar. I will respect the client's home and make sure the dog gets specialized care, from feeding and walks to playtime and snuggles. I will keep the client updated with messages, so they know their dog is safe and happy.

About: I have over 7 years of vet tech experience, primarily with dogs and cats. At home I have taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, sugar gliders, and fish since I was a teenager. Each animal has a unique personality and perspective, and I love getting to know each and every one of them. Your pets will be safe and happy with me. I am currently working as a nurse full time. I am available on the weekends and would love to spend time with your fur babies. Each animal has their own preferences and personality. Let me know what your pet likes and I will make sure they feel right at home with me. Do they like fetch? A walk? Or simply cuddles? I will let them choose what they want our time together to look like.

Jennifer is incredible. An actual professional. She always walks my dog a few minutes longer than scheduled when in the past I’ve had walkers not reach the allotted time frame. She contacted me days in advance to find out what precautions she can take to keep my dog hydrated in safe in the extreme heat and made sure to find a shaded walking path for her. My dog LOVES her!! Wendi went ABOVE and BEYOND for my Quinn. She met with me before the date so that Quinn could meet her and while Quinn is normally a one woman pup (me) she went to Wendi immediately and began bringing Wendi her toys to share. That has literally never happened before. Wendi also was flexible when my times needed to be adjusted. She communicated with me about how the drop ins and walks went and sent pictures. She also wrote a lovely note and created a water color of my Quinn. (not AI, she actually painted it) I highly recommend Wendi! I know my daughter plans to use her when she needs a dog walker/sitter next.

Haley has been a perfect fit for our 12 year old lab. Haley made sure she got her exercise but also allowed her to walk and smell at her pace. Haley was ever mindful of the pavement temp and ensured she was safe and did not get over heated. The constant communication, picture and videos were wonderful. Haley is now our go to dog walker and we would highly recommend her. We could not be happier.

We’ve had an amazing experience with our dog walker! She is incredibly communicative, reliable, and truly goes the extra mile every time. Han and Chewie absolutely adore her, which gives me so much peace of mind when I’m away. She always sends lots of updates and pictures, which I really appreciate—it makes such a difference being able to see how happy and well cared for they are. While I was away, one of my dogs wasn’t feeling well, and she took extra care and attention to make sure he was comfortable and looked after. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to me. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring. We will definitely continue to use her!

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Cedar Hills. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. • 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
