My experience includes working with professional groomers in San Francisco, animal shelters, and animal hospitals, so I’ve met just about every kind of personality you can imagine. Energetic puppies? Seniors that need a little extra patience? Anxious or reactive? I got you. And while I’m caring for your pup, I take care of your home too. I’ll water your plants, bring in packages, keep things tidy, and make sure your home is looked after while you’re away. Before I leave, I’m also happy to put the bed sheets in the wash so you can come home to a fresh, clean space. About: I've had cats, dogs, fish, and rodents, and would love to share my time with even more beloved pets! I worked at a vet clinic for awhile, so safety will be my number one priority. I currently volunteer with a local cat rescue. I even worked with a wildlife rehabilitation center a few years ago, so no animal would be outside my comfort zone, although I have little experience with reptiles. I work full time during the week, but will have about 45 minutes to devote to your furry friend around midday! I am flexible before and after my job, and am often available during weekend days and holidays. I will not offer boarding services, however, I am happy to schedule my time around your fur baby to ensure that they get the love and care they deserve! I am comfortable caring for (feeding, walking, brushing, etc.) and medicating (with instruction) dogs and cats, if necessary!

About: I grew up in the country with many dogs in the family. My parents bred and showed champion Afghan Hounds as well as boarded other breeds of dogs. I have raised and cared for many amazing dogs, cats, horses, goats, rabbits, salamanders and a gold fish named Charlie. My absolute love for all animals and my special bond with my 18 year old rescue, Fez, lead me to managing a local doggy daycare and boarding facility. I learned so much about all kinds of breeds and mixes, puppies and seniors, managing medications, nutrition, play time, and their beautiful personalities. What a wonderful experience that was! My deep love for dogs, hiking, the outdoors and the Oregon weather makes dog walking a true pleasure for me. I can take dogs to Forest Park or just around the neighborhood sidewalks and trails. I have a very flexible schedule and I am happy to take walks, pop in for a visit or look after in your home while you are away. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your best friend and taking great care of them. I have a very flexible schedule and can work around your routine. I love getting out there in the mornings but I am also happily available for walks in the afternoons and evenings until 7:00pm. Safety is the number one priority period. I have a very calming demeanor and can sense what my pet partner is feeling in their environment. My eyes and ears will be focused on your pet and our safety at all times inside or outside, staying 5 steps ahead with their care.

I am currently freelance and remote, so I am able to change my schedule around to suite the needs of both you and your pet. What sets us apart from others is our lifelong experience, reliability, and genuine love for animals. Together, we have owned and cared for pets for more than 20 years and have always been the people our family trusts to watch their animals while they are out of town. As two nurses, caregiving is a big part of who we are, and we bring the same patience, attentiveness, and responsibility to caring for pets that we bring to caring for people. We understand that every animal has its own personality and needs, and we treat each pet like part of our family. As a stay-at-home student, I am at home most of the day and can provide pets with consistent attention, supervision, and companionship. My wife works night shifts, so our schedules complement each other and allow one of us to be home with the dogs all the time. We let our dogs outside at least every two hours, often more frequently, and make sure they get at least one walk each day. Your dog will enjoy plenty of bathroom breaks, exercise, playtime, affection, and opportunities to relax without being left alone for long periods. Our home is a comfortable, welcoming house where pets can feel safe, relaxed, and cared for like part of the family. We have a fully fenced yard that provides plenty of space for supervised outdoor play, exercise, and fresh air. Since I am currently a student and home most of the time, your pet will receive consistent attention, companionship, playtime, and plenty of affection throughout the day. We strive to maintain each pet’s normal routine while giving them a calm, loving environment where they can settle in and enjoy their stay. Whether your dog loves running around outside, playing with toys, relaxing on the couch, or staying close to their people, they will never be short on care or company in our home.

I trained and showed my dogs in 4-H for 7+ years when in school. I am currently taking a break from full-time employment so I have time to give someone’s fur baby love and attention! I have 21 years experience working in the Medical industry so I am extremely communicative, responsive, attentive, and prompt. I currently have 2 rescue dogs and 1 crazy orange male tabby cat. I am a volunteer and foster home for Street Dog Hero and have been able to successfully rehome 2 dogs. I look forward to meeting your fur baby and giving them the attention and exercise you are looking for. I am currently taking a break from full time employment so I have plenty of time for the care you are desiring at any hour of the day or night. I have a fenced yard with 6 expandable mobile fences that I use divide my yard and interior of my home to ease a new pet into my home. In a clients home, I visit them accordingly to the schedule provided.
