My weekend availability starts on Fridays at 5:30pm. ☺️ I am a certified dog walker and I have fostered dogs, volunteered during pet adoptions, and dog and cat sat for many friends and now Rover clients. I am able to calm aggressive dogs by showing them love first. I have this way of saying “Hello!!” to every dog I meet and even typically reactive dogs would be like, “Oh yeah… don’t I know you from somewhere?” Every dog wants to be my best friend. If I’m at a party, I can be found with the dog. When people say, “I hope my dog doesn’t bother you,” I hope it does. I insist on the dog bothering me. 🤗 I have experience with dogs of all sizes; chihuahuas, dachshunds, Australian Shepherds, German Shepherds, vizslas, cattle dogs, labs, and pit bulls, just to name a few. Plenty of pit bull and dachshund experience, as I grew up with dachshunds and have dogsat many pit bulls as well as had a pit bull chiweenie as a pet. I like to walk 2 miles a day when the weather permits, so please let me know if you’d like for me to take them on a longer walk. I can take them on a hike (easy or moderate difficulty) if you’d like for no extra cost, just let me know if you think they’d enjoy that. I can cuddle at night if they are allowed on the bed. I am also able to provide calm vibes for dogs that need that. You and your dog’s needs will be met! If they’re a dog where you’re not allowed to stop petting them, they will get all the pets. 🥰 Bonus: I used to do photography as a side gig and I now have a brand-new iPhone pro so you’ll be getting some good photos with lots of pupdates.

If I am pet sitting, your pet will be my priority. I respect others' house rules with pets, and house rules for myself. I have glowing reviews on Airbnb because I always clean up after myself and leave the place as if I was never there. If you don't want your pets sleeping on a bed or jumping on furniture, I will ensure that doesn't happen. If you need me to crate a dog while I am out, I can do that. I am open to any kind of care you're needing. I am also open to any needs your pet might need emotionally... pets, cuddles at night, calming music, Milo and Otis or Flow on the TV, I got you! ☺️

Alicia was amazing with our 2 dogs and 2 cats for an extended weekend. We got regular updates and came home to happy dogs and a clean house! I would definitely book Alicia again 😊

A golden star cherub! Very communicative both before the visit to schedule a meet and greet as well as during the stay with multiple updates and photos daily. Always easy to reach with questions or updates. She left the cutest report card for our fur babies and gave us some pretty stellar book recommendations based on our bookshelves. Will absolutely be booking again next time we are away!

Alicia is the best! She is so patient and kind. We have a very reactive dog and she came back week after week to work with him and to earn his trust to hopefully build up to overnight stays. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Schedule
I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:30am - 5pm. I just started working Mondays from 8am-12pm, but I can work from home on Mondays if you don’t mind me doing so! I am available any time outside of those hours with some exceptions, so my weekend stays start Friday around 5:30pm. I have holidays off, so I am available all day on a holiday. I can dog walk/do drop-ins on weekday evenings, or pet sit in your home over the weekend. Any time I leave for a few hours I make sure to walk the dog(s) or let them out before I leave and as soon as I get back if they need it again. On Sundays I play softball, so I will be gone for 2-4 hours (depending on if it’s a double header or not).
