A typical day
There are a lot of dog parks in the area, and a lot of nice places to go for a walk. If your dog is up for it, a game of fetch is always fun! If they're not into that, we can go exploring and find new smells, or just roll around in the grass. If your dog is more mellow, I'm always up for a mellow hang-out with a lot of love and affection.

Pet care experience
Since the age of 10, I have taken care of birds, dogs, cats, a turtle, some frogs, and horses. I worked as an assistant stable manager at the LA Equestrian Center, I spent a summer volunteering at the National Aviary, and I have also done training on my own pets, (parakeets and puppies). I love taking care of animals and discovering their individual quirks and personalities. It is important to me that they feel comforted by me, and that people can count on me to take good care of their pets.

Vivian is who you want to look after your pets while you're away period. I have a cat that is extremely timid to anyone aside from me. However, when Vivian arrived my cat came right out and greeted her as if they had been friends for years. Vivian arrived right on time, listened to my detailed instructions, and followed through exactly as asked. I had her watch over not only my cat, but my very extensive and rare collection of tropical frogs, which is far outside the normal ask for most pet sitters. Those frogs have a very detailed feeding schedule and specific husbandry requirements which she handled with ease. To date she's the only person to leave my frogs with more weight than when I left! She even managed to watch all of my tropical plants without them dropping a single leaf. Whenever I travel from now on, I will check to see if she's available first! Fantastic job!
