About: I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. Also, I have been trusted to check on my neighbor's pets. I have volunteered at a local animal shelter where I fed cats and dogs. Also I walked the dogs. I'm currently taking college classes part time, so I have plenty of time to stop by and care for your pets. Also, helping others always makes my day. I keep track of how often a pet needs to be feed and always check their water. Also, I pet them and say hi if they are friendly or give them space if they are shy. When walking a dog I make sure their leash is secure and their collar comfortable. Safety and organization is my priority. I keep notes on an individual pet's needs.
“Olivander is great! He is very patient with my Dalmatian, who sometimes has a tough time adjusting to new people. He also takes the time to work on training, which is awesome! Definitely recommend him for your dog or other pets!”

“Paige was wonderful with our kitten. She is very thorough and punctual. We loved how she kept us updated on all the details and he really enjoyed his play time and company while we were gone.”

About: My pup recently passed away but I had him for 11 years. He was a high maintenance fellow so I’m up for your high maintenance dogs too. I’m big on animals not being bored. Puzzles, games, walks, etc. Even senior pups can benefit from some snuffle mat work. Most of all I just want them to feel safe and looked after while you’re away. I work a full time job M-F from home most of the time. There are days we’re required to be in the office but that doesn’t happen very often. I can make time during the day for walks when I work from home. I can also stop for cuddles and to play in the yard when we both need a break. If caring for your pet in my home, they’d be welcome on top of all my furniture. Every corner has a pet bed available and ready to use. I also have quite a few pet caves your pet might love. I do have stairs leading up to my couch and my bed. I have a ramp available if needed too to get down the 1 step into my yard. If proving care in your home, I would be a pet care professional and only interact with pet care items. I would lock up after myself and follow any directions I’d been given.
“Alicia is the best! She is so patient and kind. We have a very reactive dog and she came back week after week to work with him and to earn his trust to hopefully build up to overnight stays. I cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“Joy takes such wonderful care of our 3 cats. I’m an anxious person and leaving them alone used to make me nervous, but Joy goes above and beyond for them. She gives very detailed updates and pictures with every visit. She stays to play with them and clean their box, and she even lets them outside on their catio when she visits. She’s a wonderful cat sitter with a great heart. She’s very communicative, attentive, and sweet. My boys love her and we’re so happy to have her as their caregiver.”

“Kate was a wonderful caretaker for our two elderly cats while we were on vacation. She was very communicative, caring, and professional. We would love to book her again next time we're out of town.”
“Celina was amazing! She made the process super easy and was so kind. She communicated with us really well. We loved the daily pics and updates she sent and it made us feel so much better about leaving our boy Hugo behind. Hugo also loved her and even jumped up on her shoulders, so I'd say the feeling was mutual! First time for us using Rover and it was the best experience. Would highly recommend Celina to anyone using Rover!”

“Hannah took great care of my cat while I was out of town. She followed all my instructions, sent detailed information about how my cat was doing, and was super easy and friendly to work with.”

About: Since the age of 10, I have taken care of birds, dogs, cats, a turtle, some frogs, and horses. I worked as an assistant stable manager at the LA Equestrian Center, I spent a summer volunteering at the National Aviary, and I have also done training on my own pets, (parakeets and puppies). I love taking care of animals and discovering their individual quirks and personalities. It is important to me that they feel comforted by me, and that people can count on me to take good care of their pets. I am a freelance work-from-home artist, and I am available during the day on weekdays, and also on occasional weekends to take care of your pets. I respect every client's specific preferences and their pet's needs, and will treat their home with the utmost respect. I am a clean and organized person, and strive to keep my client's homes as clean and organized as possible.
“Madison was reliable and attentive to my elderly pups’ needs. She communicated well with us. She provided medication and special diet. Will definitely book her again!”

“Allison did a fantastic job! She is communicative, responsible and very creative. It was fun to get her updates to hear how she kept our kittys entertained while we were out of the house. It's clear she has a love for animals 😻”

“Shannon was amazing with our cats. One is extremely shy and she brought her out of her shell (and from hiding under the bed). She’s conscientious and we loved all the photos in her updates. We’d absolutely ask her to drop in again.”

“So grateful to have found Elizabeth on Rover! She was incredibly attentive, understanding, and caring with my puppy ! and truly worked magic with her! My dog is usually very shy and scared around new people, but by the end of her stay with Elizabeth and her kids, she looked so happy and confident. I couldn't be more thankful! Elizabeth also sent me regular updates and lots of adorable photos, I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone loving and trustworthy to care for their pet! :)”

Our cat was so excited to see Joy again! I know my cat and my home are in great hands whenever I’m away. I really appreciate how she goes above and beyond with her reports, including lots of photos, videos, and detailed visit descriptions. Joy is wonderful to work with, and most importantly, my cat absolutely loves her!

Erika did such a fantastic job taking care of our cat while we were out of town! She was very thoughtful during the meet and greet ensuring we had every safety protocol thought of ahead of time. We got reports and photos every day, she was very timely, and treated our home with care. We will certainly be back with future needs!

Ally was wonderful and took such good care of our cranky, elderly, diabetic cat. She requires insulin injections and is wary of strangers, but warmed up to Ally within a couple days. The updates were so helpful, we didn't have to worry at all while we were out of town. Thank you so much Ally!

Mandy was very easy to work with! She was quick to respond when initially searching for a pet sitter, which was very helpful. She checked-in on our two cats once a day for a week, and always provided cute photos in the Rover Card. Sage and Smokey seemed to like her! Would recommend!

Annee has been and will be my go-to for taking excellent care of my fur babies :). You can count on her to do exactly what you ask, provide prompt communication and regular updates and look out for your fur family while you’re away. Example: we had a heat wave while I was out of town. She updated me on this and let me know she was ensuring they had enough water to stay hydrated and as usual kept me updated. Whenever I return from being out of town when Annee is taking care of them, I am always confident that they’ll be in good health and not stressed out from me being away. We love Annee!

Bridgette took care of our cats for 7 days and did an excellent job. We got home from vacation and our cats were happy and healthy. Bridgette was super communicative and followed all of our instructions. She’ll be our go-to choice for all future pet sitting. Thanks Bridgette!
Liv did an amazing job pet sitting Cosmo and our fish for 5 days! She was incredibly reliable, sending daily check-ins and awesome photo updates that we loved seeing. Cosmo bonded with her right away and got so close to her. We felt totally at ease knowing everyone was in such great hands. Thank you, Liv, for taking such wonderful care of our pets! Highly recommend!

This was our second time utilizing Hannah's services and again, the experience was wonderful. She made sure our cat was well tended to, even if the cat was being shy and hiding. She also treated our home with respect and care. I would absolutely recommend her to friends and family and will definitely have her look after our cat again.

Sahra is just wonderful! This was the first time we used Rover and were anxious pet parents. She was amazing at communicating and our girls loved her. She even got our very shy cat to play and allow her to pet her! She followed our instructions to a T and was receptive to changes we made during the booking. We will definitely book again with her!

Alejandra did an excellent job of caring for my pets while I was out of town! After sending the booking request, she immediately reached out to me and was able to stop by for a new client visit on the same day! She was a breeze to work with and gave me updates and pictures each day. My cats were well cared for and I came back to a happy household. I will definitely be re-booking with Alejandra for the foreseeable future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
