I will follow all instructions left to care for your pet. It’s very hard for me to leave my dog so I understand the trust that is placed in me to take care of your animal while you’re away. I can send updates and pictures if you’d like. At this moment I can’t bring animals into my home but that could change in the future.
Information Claire S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if I need to watch for any behaviors or give any medication. If I do need to give medication I’d love to know their usual routine that goes with that so I can keep everything as normal as possible for them. If they have a favorite toy or blanket or spot to hang out in I’d love to know.
A typical day
I love walking and playing with dogs and cats. I also really love providing activities at home that stimulate their brain. My favorite one is putting kibble or treats in a towel and tying it in a loose knot. This makes them sniff and work for the treats. There’s so many different versions of this activity and I think they’re so fun.

dependable and responsible pet care
Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I have experience with many different breeds of dogs and seniors. I have been known to refer to, as well as treat dogs like my own children. If you choose me to hang out with your dog I will treat them like my own best friend. I also have some experience with cats. Mostly just the basics; feeding, playing, and cleaning/changing out the litter box. I take and follow instructions very well, and if you invite me into your home to take care of your pet I will respect your space and your belongings.

Claire also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews

Claire is fantastic! We booked her last minute due to a last minute cancellation. She went out of her way to do a meet and greet and we are confident she took excellent care of our doggo. She was very communicative and we returned home to a happy pup.

We have only work with Claire for a week but she is on point. Very organized and great at communicating. She is very caring and loving to our 11 yr old puppy. Happy we found her.

Thank you, Claire, for providing such good care for Cooper. I appreciate your timely communication, daily updates, walking Cooper 1-2 times a day and leaving the house tidy.
Claire is one of the most loving dog people I have ever met. They always take care of dogs and love taking dogs for walks and playing with any type of dog. I can’t think of a better person to give a pet love and care while an owner is away. Claire is also one of the most trustworthy people I have ever met and would take this job very seriously!
