About: I have grown up with dogs since before I can even remember. I've cared for puppies, senior dogs, dogs with medical conditions and allergies, and dogs of all sizes from chihuahuas to Bernese mountain dogs. I used to dog sit and do dog walks for several of my neighbors. What I enjoy the most is getting to know each dog individually, learning their behaviors, and giving them the love and attention they deserve! <3 Currently, I am available on all days of the week except Saturday to help take care of your beloved pets. My earliest start time is 11am. I always adhere to the pet owner's instructions for how to best care for their pets. I respect their home and do everything I can to keep their pets safe and comfortable.
“Bianca truly went above and beyond to take care of my two kitties, she sent me daily photos and updates and even scrubbed my carpet when one of them threw up. I would 1000% book again, she did an amazing job! <3”

“An amazing cat sitter who I can confidently say went above and beyond for my cat. Super communicative and reassuring which during big trips can be hard! Have already booked her again for another stay. :)”

“Cypress was great with our cat! She checked on everything during the visit and sent us photos and updates which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our cat seemed comfortable with her and we really appreciated how reliable she was. We would definitely book with Cypress again!”

“Rie came through for us when I had an impromptu trip for work. She graciously agreed to watch Tinker on just a few days notice. Rie has always done a great job for us and we would recommend her to anyone looking for a good honest sitter.”

“Laura is great! She is very communicative and thorough. I appreciate how understanding she is of our rambunctious puppy and sometimes overly excited adult golden. She helped us out on short notice for a drop in, and she’ll be coming back for a longer stay soon. Very relieved to have found her.”

“Susan was so wonderful! I was a bit behind in arranging care for our cats while we traveled with our pups, and luckily Susan was available with about a week’s notice and able to stop by for a meet & greet. She was patient and communicative when our older cat wasn’t eating. She is very caring and got great pics :) This was our first use of Rover and had such peace of mind while we were away. Thank you, Susan!”

“Alexis has been super on top of it with her communication! She is reliable and sent me great updates about her time with our puppy. I am careful about who I trust with our puppy and I would hire Alexis any time.”

“Lisa was great, very flexible and took such good care of my cat. He was healthy and happy when I got home. Lisa’s communication was great and gave me peace of mind on my trip!”

About: I want your pet to feel at home and enjoy their stay until they see their family again. I often take them on walks in my dog friendly sleepy street neighborhood. I work from home and go outside often on walks or bike rides if your pup is high energy and likes to run. Your pup will love basking in my fenced backyard in the sun. In the evening I chill with them watching Netflix. I have a fenced yard with sun and shade to for your pet to enjoy dog days of summer. I can take active pets for runs on my bike or a simple walk around the neighborhood. I want them to be excited for their stay while looking forward to reuniting with their family.

About: My own dog recently passed away at the age of 20, so I am an expert in care for Senior Pets and Special Needs (blindness, deafness, etc), and a calm and patient sitter for anxious dogs. I am very experienced with medication and specialized diets. Your pet will have a wonderful time in my care! I run my own businesses and am very flexible at the current time to care for your pets! I can even bring my work with me on occasion if needed. I am very respectful of your space and often take dogs out to the park or somewhere outdoors to play if there is no yard. Your animals will get plenty of playtime and love, and I value staying in close communication should any issues arise!
“Julia is great! She has watched my cat Bella twice now and has been extremely communicative and helpful. Bella loves having her visit! I would highly recommend Julia for all your pet sitting needs!”

About: I’m a huge animal lover and truly enjoy caring for pets of all personalities and needs. I’m very dependable and trustworthy, and I treat every animal with the same love and care I would give my own. I also make sure pets stay on their normal routines and always keep owners updated so they know their pet is happy and safe. I am known for being able to get animals to warm up to me rather quickly so I am a great sitter to have if your fur baby is nervous around new humans. This and Uber Eats are my full time jobs. I will only be gone for 2-4 hours in the evening for Uber Eats some days and will not be gone longer than 4 hours. I am very attentive to pet’s needs and listen closely to the owner’s instructions. No matter how big or small your animal is, dog or cat, I have unlimited patience and care.

About: Any pet I spend time with I like to get to know the independent needs and personalities of. Knowing how to care for cats, dogs, fish, some reptiles, chickens, I am always happy to learn how to take care of any and all animals. I have sat for many people these last 5 years or so (and taken care of my own for longer) and I’m happy to say most of that time has been spent with animals both in and outside of sitting. I’m good with sticking to medication, meal, and walking routines and am adaptable to any needs! I spend a lot of my time at home and with my animals. I'm working part time at the moment, 6 hour shifts that are mid day, Tue-Thu. The days I have off are completely open and I am more than happy to housesit on work nights. I routinely check on the animals I care for, whether that be checking water and food bowls or being aware of changes in personality or behavior. I provide a safe and welcoming environments for all pets that I have the pleasure of taking care of and make sure to give special attention to each animal. I always make sure to keep foods and anything that could pose a hazard far out of reach. Any issue I find while housesitting I will quickly and directly communicate.
About: I’ve been walking and caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels for over 10 years, including puppies, seniors, and dogs with reactivity or anxiety. I’m comfortable with leash training, basic commands, and reading body language to keep walks calm and safe. Whether it’s a quick 30-minute stroll or an hour-long adventure at the park, I focus on giving each dog the exercise and attention they need. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so can’t wait to meet your dog and take them on adventures! I’m very active, former track runner and marathoner so I’m confident I’ll be able to keep up with your pup! I have a fenced back yard and multiple dog beds around my house. Always air conditioned and cool in my house so your pup will always be comfortable.
Cat parents share their Rover experiences - West Haven-Sylvan
Viktoriya saved the day! Last minute drop in visit with my cat because the automatic feeder stopped working when I was out of town. She fixed the feeder, cleaned up a little mess the cat had left on the floor, and kept me up to date. Cat was hiding under the bed the whole time, but came out as soon as she left to get some food. So grateful she was available. Very professional service. Would highly recommend!

I had Freya do a quick drop-in visit to prep her for some upcoming stays I booked. She was very attentive to my plethora of details and asked questions to ensure she understood. I was clear she really wants to provide great service and make sure my cat is well cared! It was a good beginning!

Sophia was amazing. Before the first day she came to meet us and the cats and any listened carefully for instructions about how to feed the cats and anything they needed. She asked questions about needs, food, and if they needed medicine or anything special. When the time came she was great and communicated clearly and took pictures. She went above and beyond and even did extra I didn't ask of her. I would recommend her 10/10 times and will book her again.

Casey is easily the best pet sitter we have ever had. She is communicative, caring, and attentive. Our cat’s health declined while we were out of town and she gave us detailed updates and went above and beyond to keep us informed and him comfortable. We can’t recommend her enough.

Christina is simply wonderful in every way. Beyond having an obvious heart for animals, she is honest, trustworthy and kind. She cared for my kitties on short notice while I was out of town and I had complete peace of mind, never thought once about their care, and I am always a little nervous about leaving my 21 year-old cutie (and my shy guy really warmed up to her immediately). If you’re looking for excellent pet care, you don’t need to look any further. I promise you will have peace of mind entrusting your babies with Christina!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
