About: Hiya! I’m a newer resident of the Portland area with a longtime background of caring for pets of friends and family hoping to fill a need in you and your pet’s lives. I love going on longer walks/excursions with dogs but also love just spending time in the neighborhood. I’m currently a part time post grad student looking to do some pet care during the day on weekdays, I can do weekends but mostly I’m looking for people wanting and needing pet time during their day to day work schedules when they can’t get home. I’m hoping to be as seamless into your life and schedule as possible. That means being in your house minimally, keeping you updated on times but not too buggy, keeping pets watered, and being in and out.
“Alina did an amazing job with Amani. She was patient, attentive, and spent quality time playing with her, which really helped because Amani is usually very energetic. Amani ended up completely relaxed, calm, and exhausted from all the playtime. It was clear she felt comfortable and cared for. I really appreciated the updates and the level of care provided. I would definitely book with her again.”

“Mary Anne went above and beyond checking in on my very shy cat. She gave very informative updates and was overall great with communication. Would absolutely recommend her!!”

“We are so grateful for Joy! She took amazing care of our cat Smokey while we were away on vacation. She was incredibly thoughtful and communicative — sending lots of sweet photos and updates that gave us total peace of mind. Smokey is usually very shy, but he came out for her, let her pet him, and clearly felt safe and cared for. Joy was always on time with her visits, very responsive, and followed all of our instructions perfectly. She kept everything neat and made sure Smokey had everything he needed. It was clear she truly cared, and we felt so lucky to have her. If you’re looking for a sitter who will treat your pet like their own, Joy is the one! We’d absolutely love to have her watch Smokey again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Emma was amazing! Our cats clearly loved her and she was so great with communicating with us. We felt completely at ease with leaving our cats at home. Would 100% recommend Emma!”

About: I grew up taking care of labs, bulldogs, huskies, and two sheep! Lots of experience with walks, playing tug-a-war, and giving lots of belly rubs. I currently live with my own cat who loves to cuddle and play with string toys! I work full-time from 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. I am available to stop by after work for walks, check ins, or housesitting. My weekends are more open to morning/afternoon visits and walks! I love animals and want to them to be as happy as possible. I’ll make sure your pet gets lot of play time, enjoys some time outside, and has full belly while you’re out on your own adventure!
“We have only work with Claire for a week but she is on point. Very organized and great at communicating. She is very caring and loving to our 11 yr old puppy. Happy we found her.”

About: I have taken care of, and been around dogs, pretty much my whole life. As an adult I have experience with leash/dog reactive dogs, super high energy puppies, done overnights for dogs with separation anxiety. I also have experience training my own dogs and really enjoy it. I am stay at home mom with both my kids in school so I have free time especially in the mornings after school drop off. I am very careful with other people's property. There should be no signs that I've in your home except for well loved, exercised and happy pets.
“Louise was amazing! My dog loved her and she was always communicating with me and keeping me updated on his status. I would definitely recommend her and would love for her to watch Walter again!”

About: Hi Furfriends!! I have loved animals since I was a small child. As a kid, I grew up with cats and a few dogs. As an adult, I’ve spent over 15 years living on a farm where I helped care for many dogs, sheep, cows, goats, chickens & turkeys. Currently, I’m living in the city, conveniently located and looking to help you care for your furbabies! I work full time Monday-Friday away from home but am able to house sit on the evenings and weekend to care for your baby while you’re away. Your baby will get lots of love and cuddle time as well as toy play. I can assist with crate training and general obedience if needed. I am comfortable giving medication.
About: I’ve housesat for years ranging from dogs, cats and even a chameleon. I love all animals and enjoying watching them. Previously I have administered medications to dogs and cats. I work full time for an oral surgeon. I am open to weekend appointments starting in July. I will not be working from June 29th- July 6th and completely free! I currently have a 2.5 year old rescue named Rusty who is my world and very spoiled. He gets lots of walks, daily teeth brushing, snuggles, lick mats and all the dog bones he desires. Rusty has a lot of energy so I am used to tiring out a dog with a tennis ball, dog park visit or long walk.

“Kelly took great care of my three rabbits while I was gone and was very proactive and responsive when a medical issue came up with one of them. Will book again in the future!”

“Olivia was a fantastic and very appreciated resource to watch my cat Otto during a recent multi-day drop in visit that was needed. She provided lots of attention and love to Otto giving everything I wished for him while I was gone including lots of playtime, feeding supplements, sharing pictures and all the cuddles. I hope to absolutely use her again for the next time I will be out of town and need someone to drop-in.”

Candice does a wonderful job caring for my cats. I always know my boys are in good hands with her and can rest easy that she will care for them like her own. Even after a long 2 week trip I came home to a clean home and happy cats. Thank you Candice for your attention to detail and kindness!

As always, Rachel is always dependable and reliable when I need her to check in on my kitty Daphne. She has great communication and always sends lots of pics. Plus, Daphne has such a good bond with Rachel so I know she trusts her. Thanks Rachel for always being there when we need you!

This is my second time using Adriana for drop-in visits for my two kittens, and once again everything went smoothly! We feel so fortunate to have found Cherie for our cat. She is so attentive and caring, having done more than we asked her to do. No doubt our cat fell in love with her immediately, so we did not need to worry about anything while we were away. We would definitely ask for her help when we will be away in the future. Tom
