“Allison did a fantastic job! She is communicative, responsible and very creative. It was fun to get her updates to hear how she kept our kittys entertained while we were out of the house. It's clear she has a love for animals 😻”

“Alina did an amazing job with Amani. She was patient, attentive, and spent quality time playing with her, which really helped because Amani is usually very energetic. Amani ended up completely relaxed, calm, and exhausted from all the playtime. It was clear she felt comfortable and cared for. I really appreciated the updates and the level of care provided. I would definitely book with her again.”

“We are so grateful for Joy! She took amazing care of our cat Smokey while we were away on vacation. She was incredibly thoughtful and communicative — sending lots of sweet photos and updates that gave us total peace of mind. Smokey is usually very shy, but he came out for her, let her pet him, and clearly felt safe and cared for. Joy was always on time with her visits, very responsive, and followed all of our instructions perfectly. She kept everything neat and made sure Smokey had everything he needed. It was clear she truly cared, and we felt so lucky to have her. If you’re looking for a sitter who will treat your pet like their own, Joy is the one! We’d absolutely love to have her watch Smokey again in the future. Highly recommend!”

About: Hiya! I’m a newer resident of the Portland area with a longtime background of caring for pets of friends and family hoping to fill a need in you and your pet’s lives. I love going on longer walks/excursions with dogs but also love just spending time in the neighborhood. I’m currently a part time post grad student looking to do some pet care during the day on weekdays, I can do weekends but mostly I’m looking for people wanting and needing pet time during their day to day work schedules when they can’t get home. I’m hoping to be as seamless into your life and schedule as possible. That means being in your house minimally, keeping you updated on times but not too buggy, keeping pets watered, and being in and out.
“Louise was amazing! My dog loved her and she was always communicating with me and keeping me updated on his status. I would definitely recommend her and would love for her to watch Walter again!”

About: I have grown up with both cat and dogs my entire life and was raised on how to take care of them! I was always the person growing up that friends and family reached out to when they needed a dog or cat sitter. I've also worked as a dog walker through a previous service as well. I am currently in between jobs so I am available all week between 6am and 10pm. I am off on the weekends but can make exceptions in some cases. When dropping in or walking pets I make sure they are safe and sound. I check to make sure they have water or food, clean and are happy. I triple check to make sure when entering and leaving that doors are locked and the pets are safe inside. On walks I am familiar with all harness types and make sure they are secure in my hold. I am also aware of my surroundings to make sure no dangers are around and that the pet is behaving normally.
About: I have taken care of, and been around dogs, pretty much my whole life. As an adult I have experience with leash/dog reactive dogs, super high energy puppies, done overnights for dogs with separation anxiety. I also have experience training my own dogs and really enjoy it. I am stay at home mom with both my kids in school so I have free time especially in the mornings after school drop off. I am very careful with other people's property. There should be no signs that I've in your home except for well loved, exercised and happy pets.
“Great with the kitties and very responsive. I felt like we could trust her in our home. She had a previous commitment one of the days we requested, so she introduced us to her partner who we met and also found trustworthy. They were a great team.”

“Our dogs can be a lot to handle, but Olivander took great care of them! They were clearly happy in the photos he sent, and they were safe and happy when we got home.”
About: Hi Furfriends!! I have loved animals since I was a small child. As a kid, I grew up with cats and a few dogs. As an adult, I’ve spent over 15 years living on a farm where I helped care for many dogs, sheep, cows, goats, chickens & turkeys. Currently, I’m living in the city, conveniently located and looking to help you care for your furbabies! I work full time Monday-Friday away from home but am able to house sit on the evenings and weekend to care for your baby while you’re away. Your baby will get lots of love and cuddle time as well as toy play. I can assist with crate training and general obedience if needed. I am comfortable giving medication.
“Shannon was absolutely great with Benji! He was loved and cared for so well while we were gone and I really appreciated the communication and picture/video updates. I could tell Benji was at ease and really enjoying his time with her!!”

“Julianna was fantastic with our ragamuffin, Cal. She arrived at the same time every day and sent great pictures. He was well-cared for! And, she even checked on him on Thanksgiving, which we greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Julianna - she's a wonerful pet sitter!”

“Zoe took excellent care of our dog and rabbit while we were on vacation. Our reactive dog and shy rabbit warmed right up to her. She is reliable, flexible, responsive, attentive to detail, and very tuned in to the animals needs. We will definitely hire her again in the future.”

“Lisa took care of everything when I had to be out for the day for work. Came home to a happy dog, everything put away where it should be. What a lifesaver! Never worry when she's taking care of my fur babies.”

“We have only work with Claire for a week but she is on point. Very organized and great at communicating. She is very caring and loving to our 11 yr old puppy. Happy we found her.”

About: I've been petsitting around my neighborhood since I was about 12. I've grown up around dogs my entire life, and in the summer of 2025 I was a doggy daycare attendant at Dogtopia in Cedar Mill. I would watch up to 25 or more dogs at a time, noting different dog personalities and tending to their needs. I am also experienced in cat care and behavior, usually extremely successful in getting any kind of cat to be comfortable. During the summer, I will be free almost the entire week to watch over your pets and make sure they are getting the care they need! I will have time to refill food, water, clean litter boxes, have outside time, and even playtime! I make sure that pets, dogs and cats alike, are comfortable first and foremost before doing anything. I take the time to make sure they know that I'm here as a friend and not someone they should fear. I make sure they get used to my presence before I do anything.
Cedar Mill cat parents share their Rover experiences
Candice does a wonderful job caring for my cats. I always know my boys are in good hands with her and can rest easy that she will care for them like her own. Even after a long 2 week trip I came home to a clean home and happy cats. Thank you Candice for your attention to detail and kindness!

Alejandra did an excellent job of caring for my pets while I was out of town! After sending the booking request, she immediately reached out to me and was able to stop by for a new client visit on the same day! She was a breeze to work with and gave me updates and pictures each day. My cats were well cared for and I came back to a happy household. I will definitely be re-booking with Alejandra for the foreseeable future.
As always, Rachel is always dependable and reliable when I need her to check in on my kitty Daphne. She has great communication and always sends lots of pics. Plus, Daphne has such a good bond with Rachel so I know she trusts her. Thanks Rachel for always being there when we need you!

Liv was amazing!! Even with our spicy kitty, she was able to take such a huge relief off our shoulders since we knew they were in good hands. She communicated effectively, followed directions, and eased our minds with the report cards. I would absolutely have her come back!!

Louise has been absolutely exceptional with Amani. She is caring, reliable, patient, and truly goes above and beyond. Amani is always happy, playful, and comfortable around her, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. I really appreciate the attention, care, and energy she puts into every visit. It’s clear she genuinely loves animals and treats Amani like her own. I highly recommend Louise to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and amazing to care for their pet.

Olivia was a fantastic and very appreciated resource to watch my cat Otto during a recent multi-day drop in visit that was needed. She provided lots of attention and love to Otto giving everything I wished for him while I was gone including lots of playtime, feeding supplements, sharing pictures and all the cuddles. I hope to absolutely use her again for the next time I will be out of town and need someone to drop-in.
