“Our cat was so excited to see Joy again! I know my cat and my home are in great hands whenever I’m away. I really appreciate how she goes above and beyond with her reports, including lots of photos, videos, and detailed visit descriptions. Joy is wonderful to work with, and most importantly, my cat absolutely loves her!”

“Mary Anne was wonderful! Predictable, communicative, shared plenty of photos. We felt totally at ease being away while Mary Anne was doing her check-ins. Thank you!!”

“Erika took excellent care of our Kitty Hemi while we were away and she even accommodated our 2 newly adopted kitties on very short notice with no hesitation at all. Everyone was happy and well cared for. Erika also watered my outdoor plants for no extra charge. You can tell Erika loves and cares for animals. She treated ours like her own. She is also very trustworthy and responsible. We highly recommend Erika and will definitely book with her again in the future.”

“Adara is very professional, friendly, and reassuring — a fabulous set of qualities for just what we needed: a reliable cat-friend to check up on two different kitties. 1000% will book again!”

“Tiffany is amazing with my girls. Her upbeat energy and firm boundaries provide such peace of mind for me. Tiffany comes to let my girls out while I work at night and receiving photos and videos are a highlight for me, gives me peace of mind while I am working. She is such a caring person and I really feel she is looking after my girls.”

“Thank you for providing excellent care to our two cats while we were away. You went above and beyond caring for them. The periodic pictures provided were better than any picture I could take, we are impressed that Shiva would actually pose. Thank you for taking care of my senior boy and giving him his daily medication. Will definitely book with you again if possible for another trip.”

“Chaun came and checked on my kitty Lily everyday and refreshed her food and water. She left her treats and sent me pictures of Lily. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing Lily was taken care of.”

About: I moved back to Aloha in 2023 after 6 years in Central Oregon, where I first got involved with dog rescue and animal care. If there’s one thing people know about me, it’s that I’m a huge animal person. I don’t just "watch" pets; I really enjoy getting to know their personalities and making sure they feel safe while their owners are away. I have a lot of experience with the "tricky" stuff—dogs with high anxiety, medical needs, or those that just need a little extra patience. I'm used to following strict feeding schedules and making sure meds are taken on time, so you don't have to worry about their routine being disturbed. In addition to dogs and cats, I also have exposure to horses, pigs, goats, and chickens. I’m reliable, I’m a great communicator, and I’ll treat your animals like they’re my own. My goal is always to make sure they’re happy and you’re stress-free while you're gone! **References Available** Ps — Tell your dog I said, "Hi!" I currently focus my time on providing care for people's pets and I have a fairly open schedule to accommodate client needs. I spend my days outside and working with dogs, cats, chickens - you name it! I love what I do and look forward to caring for your pets too! In your home or mine, I respect the rules and routines you have in place for your pets. The dogs in my home will be kept separate from client dogs unless otherwise noted by the owner. Given the schedule I have for work and my personal dogs, your routine may vary slightly in my home. I have space for guest dogs so I can keep on a crate rotation to be able to meet and respect all the dogs' needs.

“Vanessa is lovely! We have a bulldog who is a little picky with his friends, but he was a big fan of Vanessa! We got pictures and updates with every visit that we enjoyed. She’s the best!”

About: With 10 years of pet sitting experience and a beloved 4 year old corgi of my own, I provide loving, reliable care for your dogs. Your pets will be treated like family! I am a teacher with this summer off. My schedule is more relaxed during the summer to help with your summer adventures. I understand the needs of reactive and high energy dogs. I am also comfortable giving oral medication throughout the day. Please let me know if your dog has any allergies or health concerns! My daily schedule is flexible, allowing me to prioritize pet care. I'll ensure your pets feel important and are well taken care of, providing them with the attention and love they need throughout the day. In your home I will maintain house rules to keep training consistent with your pet. I have completed puppy training classes through The Training Spot in Eugene Oregon and love learning new tricks with dogs who are interested.
About: At the age of 16 years old I started working at a veterinarian clinic making appointments, cleaning, walking, playing, and setting up for surgeries for spay/neuter I am currently working part-time doordashing so I can make my own hours so I have a very flexible schedule to play with your pups I have a fully fenced yard with a doggie door and a dumb outside to keep your pups dry. I also have a very friendly 10-year-old Labrador mix! There is a dog friendly park behind my house!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Aloha
Vivian did a wonderful job with the cats and we very much loved all the pictures! Some were funny and some were sweet! It was very clear the cats liked Vivian and played and got some love. As any pet parent would agree, that’s what you want most of all - for your loved pets to be treated with care so you can enjoy yourself while away from home.

As usual, Annee did a great job taking care of my cat, Echo. He's now dealing with new allergies, a cone, and new oral medications, so there was more complexity involving his care. She did a great job as usual and while we had to make adjustments multiple times around medications, she was receptive and did a good job given the circumstances. Echo remained safe and healthy, and played a lot with her while I was gone. I continue to trust Annee with Echo's care and would book her again.

Olli is a wonderful pet sitter! He was conscientious and considerate of our home and took great care of our two senior dogs and senior cat. We have total confidence in him and can rest assured the pets will receive their food and medication with no problem. Olli also won them all over—even getting purrs from kitty. We plan to use him every time we need a sitter.

I’ve never used Rover before and was really nervous about it. Adam took AMAZING care of our cats, he immediately rectified a mistake I made ( I actually trusted our cats not to jump on the counter to get their snacks (boy was I wrong) but Adam contacted me about the situation. We ran into to some car trouble and had to extend our service and he quickly accepted. The daily updates were great. We will definitely be use him again.

Ally was wonderful and took such good care of our cranky, elderly, diabetic cat. She requires insulin injections and is wary of strangers, but warmed up to Ally within a couple days. The updates were so helpful, we didn't have to worry at all while we were out of town. Thank you so much Ally!

Riley was amazing with all of my babies! It is clear that she is very skilled with all types of animals, she is even helping me train my young puppy! My pets absolutely adore her and there is nobody that I would trust more than her with my babies. Knowing that she is trained in the veterinary field gives me so much comfort in leaving my pets in her care. She is by far the best pet sitter I have ever had and my pets are excited to see her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Aloha. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
