Availability
I am available to do multiple walks or drop-ins throughout the week and weekend. If I am boarding or house sitting, I still do walks/drop-ins, however, I do limit my usual availability and don't take on new clients for that time frame so I can spend more time with the longer care pet.

If your fur baby stays with me, I would keep the same schedule and routine your pet is used to in their daily care. I make sure they are going potty normally. We would go on walks in the surrounding neighborhood that is very dog friendly with multiple pet waste stations. The majority of your pets time would be spent indoors with me all day with exception to night time. My cat usually has free reign of the house since he is indoor only. However, for the protection of both our pets I would not allow contact between the animals. The cat would stay with me in my room while your pet would have the kitchen area. For this reason, your pet would not be able to sleep with me at night. To keep your pet more at ease at night, I do leave some low lights and a radio with classical music on so they are not disturbed by outside noises. For stays in your home, I would still keep the same schedule and routine your pet is used to while remaining clean and quiet. I do my best to leave as minimal a footprint as possible.

Information Erika M. would like to know about your pet
Let me know what special needs your dog may have so I can do my best to accommodate. No matter how odd or quirky the request is, I absolutely understand and am willing to try to replicate any behaviors you do to keep your pet happy! At minimum, I would also need to know if your pet is friendly or afraid of other humans and animals.
A typical day
We would definitely have tv snuggle time most of the time! Lots of play time and definitely walks for potty and exercise time as needed/requested.

Pet care experience
I grew up in a family that used to breed Dobermans and also loved having a multitude of somewhat exotic animals as pets. We always had a minimum of 2 dogs along with other pets like fish, frogs, ducks, chickens, hamsters, rabbits, and turtles. My passion for animals started very early. It's more than a passion actually, it's a need in my life! I was given my first turtle as a pet when I was 10 and I loved it so much that I've always had one since. I also got my first cat at that age too. That cat lived to be 22 years old, which is rare! I took the best care of him. My current turtle is an Ornate box tortoise that I got as a captive bred when she was the size of a half dollar coin. I've kept her healthy & happy for many years and she's still thriving! Besides my turtle, I also have a miniature panther (a.k.a. a black cat) who is a sweetheart, but also an energetic handful. Being highly observant of an animals needs through their behavior is definitely a skill I have developed. I feel this is important to have especially when caring for pets that I am not familiar with. I love all animals and love learning random facts about them. It is because of that, I have become quite knowledgeable on how to train or care for many different kinds. I can provide any type of service for your fur baby within your home per your instructions. I've done and seen most of it all and am not afraid to get my hands dirty.
Reviews

Erika was amazing. I always get tons of anxiety leaving my girl but she sent very detailed updates and plenty of pictures…which I LOVED😍 I would 100% recommend Erika and would book her again!

Erika was kind and detailed, sending me photos and reports of how my cat was doing. Thanks so much! Would totally rebook with her again when opportunity arises!

Erika took great care of my Timmy, who had just lust her cat housemate a couple weeks prior. I was worried about going out of town, but Erika’s photos and comments reassured us that all was well.

Erika was wonderful. She was right on time, did more than I asked and both cats happy and ready to go out when I returned home. I would ask Erika to care for my pets again.
