“Adam was punctual with his visits and kept me well informed ( great pictures!). I felt he was caring and concerned regarding my pet's welfare. This was my first time using Rover and I was very happy with the experience - would definitely use Adam again in the future!”

I look forward to hearing from you! I have been boarding dogs for many years and have finally found a passion to continue working with animals in a training atmosphere. I will still accept boarding requests and accommodate overnight stays as much as I can while training in my home. Our home is a family affair for taking care of the pups that stay with us, my son loves to throw the ball. My little girl will love to cuddle and walk them, and between me and my husband we are always keeping a constant eye out for the pups and their safety and happiness. I love to practice basic training with all the pups we host for fun and make sure everyone gets enough exercise in our half acre yard. We are home the majority of the time as we home school and do all training in our home. I love sending pictures of your pups while they are with us, and will try to send an update at the end of every day with an overview of what we did that day. Please let me know if you are still working on house/potty training so we can plan a comfortable stay for your pooch :) The safety of your pet is very important to me. They must be well socialized around children and other dogs. I do not accept aggressive dogs of any kind or escape artists. Please no severe separation anxiety cases. Food/toy aggression included. I would like to avoid the possibility of dogs not getting along as much as possible. Please have dogs up to date on flea medication before a stay and you are welcome to bring anything that will help them stay comfortable but I do not recommend stuffys or favorite dog toys. We can provide clean dog beds and toys as well 😊 Thank you again for all the support and love, I love what I do and feel fortunate to live out a passion of mine. Thank you for supporting me and my family! Blessings💕🐶 I am a stay-at-home mom so the pups I care for have constant attention and care. Typically a day in our home would consist of hanging outside mainly or inside the home depending on weather. We live on a half acre with an older small dog who is a couch potato but loves everyone. We do have small children and a shop cat but all are very respectful and adjust to all the different kinds of animals we host easily.
“Adara was right on time and gave her full attention to my pups. She was respectful of our property and did all she could to make them comfortable. We also had a good "meet and greet" a few days before her visit with them. All went really well and I'd recommend Adara as a reliable pet sitter. I don't need help often but when I do will call on her again.”

About: Hi there! I am someone who genuinely loves animals and understands how important it is to find a sitter you can fully trust with your pet. Pets are part of our family! I approach pet sitting with patience, consistency, and communication with owners. I adapt my care style to match every pets personality and energy. I am comfortable working with younger pets who need calm guidance and stimulation as well as older seniors who may need a slower pace, extra patience, medication and low stress environment. I know trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, I aim to provide the same level of care and attention I would want for my own animals! I have a very open and flexible schedule! Currently, I already have a dog I take care of weekly 1-2 times a week usually from 11AM-2PM weekdays. I currently have 2 cats at home and would not be able to take in pets but am more than willing to drive to take care of pets in the comfort of their own home! I take time to understand each pets needs, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, etc. I aim to create a low-stress, caring environment while treating your home with respect and keeping you updated with regular messages and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
“Elizabeth was a great sitter. Our cats were well cared for and when things came up, Elizabeth was quick to notify us and resolve the situation. Would definitely book Elizabeth again!”

About: A little about me, I love all things pets and animals in general. I’ve taken care of animals since I was little. I have helped raise puppies, kittens, hamsters and even helped with birds. I just love animals. I do currently work full time from home. I can set up my work station anywhere, I just need access to a WiFi router. My job is pretty flexible. I do have 2 cats of my own. I recently had to say goodbye to my senior pup due to cancer. I am not currently ready for another pup but that is why I love doing this, I get to love on other people’s pups. I know animals have boundaries, so I would honor those for your animal. I can help crate or do whatever you think is best. I would never put a pet in harms way.
“Brittny is so sweet and attentive!! She had to deal with my diabetic cat who wouldn’t eat while I was out and was so communicative and good about dosing out my cat’s medicine. She’s one of the best pet sitters out here!”
About: I moved back to Aloha in 2023 after 6 years in Central Oregon, where I first got involved with dog rescue and animal care. If there’s one thing people know about me, it’s that I’m a huge animal person. I don’t just "watch" pets; I really enjoy getting to know their personalities and making sure they feel safe while their owners are away. I have a lot of experience with the "tricky" stuff—dogs with high anxiety, medical needs, or those that just need a little extra patience. I'm used to following strict feeding schedules and making sure meds are taken on time, so you don't have to worry about their routine being disturbed. In addition to dogs and cats, I also have exposure to horses, pigs, goats, and chickens. I’m reliable, I’m a great communicator, and I’ll treat your animals like they’re my own. My goal is always to make sure they’re happy and you’re stress-free while you're gone! **References Available** Ps — Tell your dog I said, "Hi!" I currently focus my time on providing care for people's pets and I have a fairly open schedule to accommodate client needs. I spend my days outside and working with dogs, cats, chickens - you name it! I love what I do and look forward to caring for your pets too! In your home or mine, I respect the rules and routines you have in place for your pets. The dogs in my home will be kept separate from client dogs unless otherwise noted by the owner. Given the schedule I have for work and my personal dogs, your routine may vary slightly in my home. I have space for guest dogs so I can keep on a crate rotation to be able to meet and respect all the dogs' needs.
“Olivia was a fantastic and very appreciated resource to watch my cat Otto during a recent multi-day drop in visit that was needed. She provided lots of attention and love to Otto giving everything I wished for him while I was gone including lots of playtime, feeding supplements, sharing pictures and all the cuddles. I hope to absolutely use her again for the next time I will be out of town and need someone to drop-in.”

“Madelynn is a great communicator! I love that she always kept me up to date on how the dogs were doing along with pictures of their smiling faces. I’ve already recommended her to my friends. Definitely a 5 star review!”

About: Hiya! I’m a newer resident of the Portland area with a longtime background of caring for pets of friends and family hoping to fill a need in you and your pet’s lives. I love going on longer walks/excursions with dogs but also love just spending time in the neighborhood. I’m currently a part time post grad student looking to do some pet care during the day on weekdays, I can do weekends but mostly I’m looking for people wanting and needing pet time during their day to day work schedules when they can’t get home. I’m hoping to be as seamless into your life and schedule as possible. That means being in your house minimally, keeping you updated on times but not too buggy, keeping pets watered, and being in and out.
“Jennifer has been a stalwart drop-in sitter for our dog Guinness for half a year now. She has put up with schedule changes, a sick puppy, and miscommunication on our end with absolutely no guff. Truly the best possible sitter we could have ever wished for. Jennifer is the best. Can't recommend enough.”

“Haley was great and sent plenty of pictures and detailed updates! She not only took care of my cat, but she also played with him and gave him lots of love and attention!”

About: Hi there, I’m Monica, and I bring to your home the experience of over 7 years in the veterinary field! I share my home with two sweet cats who are my world, but I really miss having that daily connection with pets of all kinds, which is why I’m so excited to spend time with yours. I have a big heart for animals, and I’m very tuned in to their needs. I respect personal space and body language, and I definitely have “mom ears” — always listening, always noticing, always making sure your pet is safe and comfortable. Whether your furry friend is shy, playful, or a little bit of both, I’ll meet them right where they are with patience and love. Right now, I work per diem in healthcare, and I’m in school full time, which means I spend a lot of time studying at home. So with furry buddy by my side — keeping me company, getting belly rubs and nose boops while I have my nose in a book is the life! Since I’m per diem, I also have flexibility (especially with requests made well in advance), so I can be there when you need someone you can trust. Your pets will be treated like family with me, and I’d love the chance to give them all the care, cuddles, and companionship they deserve while you’re away. Sincerely, Monica I’m per diem and doing online school full time — so it works out very well, especially with enough advance! It makes it very easy and flexible to be home with your pets. I love gauging each personality, seeing how their playing-type is, reading their behavior (even subtle signs) and ease into what their nature and comfort zone is.
“Allison was a fantastic sitter for our pets. I needed someone fairly last minute, at Christmas, and Allison accepted the job. She was communicative and accommodating from the very beginning. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She is sweet, thoughtful and responsible. Please don’t hesitate to request Allison as your next pet sitter. You will absolutely not be disappointed.”
About: Being raised on a small farm, there have always been cats & dogs around to share in the ups & downs of life. I love leaning into each individual's personality and working with positive reenforcement to catch the animals doing good behavior! I have experience training/working with dogs of all ages. Sometimes our furry friends need extra care. I am experienced in oral medicine administration, wound care, ear & eye treatments (if need be)! I am available for pet care on a daily basis. I care for my cats & dog daily. If ever I need backup support, I have a network of folks willing to lend a hand. When pet sitting, I follow the instructions given by the owner regarding when to feed, how much food, how often they need to go outside. Beyond that, I typically tidy up the space every evening, sweeping/vacuuming, refreshing waters, etc. I try to develop a routine so that the animals know what to expect and can relax into a sense of order. I generally find ways that each animal likes to play and find games that are fun and rewarding.
