About: I’ve always had dogs in my life and I love them oh so dearly! I’ve stayed in homes of family friend dog owners for a few years now, mostly just taking care of the dogs and going on walks, as well as watering plants when needed. I’m not much of a cat person, I didn’t grow up with cats but I can do what is needed of me. I work part time, around 25 hours a week so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your babies and make sure they are well taken care of. I will care for your baby in your own home where they have all their favorite toys and comfort spots. I will take them for walks and give them all the snuggles they need!
“Haley was great and sent plenty of pictures and detailed updates! She not only took care of my cat, but she also played with him and gave him lots of love and attention!”

“Adara was right on time and gave her full attention to my pups. She was respectful of our property and did all she could to make them comfortable. We also had a good "meet and greet" a few days before her visit with them. All went really well and I'd recommend Adara as a reliable pet sitter. I don't need help often but when I do will call on her again.”

“Erica and her daughter were super helpful when I was in a bind finding care for my lab on short notice. She was even willing to drive a nice distance to care for him and took really nice, professional looking photos of him. It was such an added bonus! It made me smile while I was at work, looking at his photo, and how happy he was with them! Made me feel comfort with such wonderful people in my home. Will definitely be booking Erica again! Wonderful with dogs!”

“Terrific communication. Elizabeth was wonderful and even cared for our plants during this heat. She sent daily photos and the cats seemed very happy when we got home. Will definitely use her again!”

“Rylie was amazing. Took great care of our cats and went above and beyond multiple times. Even got our super shy car to come out and hang. Which has never happened before with a rover . Can tell she really cares about the animals she works with and will 100% book again if they’re available for our next trip.”

About: Being raised on a small farm, there have always been cats & dogs around to share in the ups & downs of life. I love leaning into each individual's personality and working with positive reenforcement to catch the animals doing good behavior! I have experience training/working with dogs of all ages. Sometimes our furry friends need extra care. I am experienced in oral medicine administration, wound care, ear & eye treatments (if need be)! I am available for pet care on a daily basis. I care for my cats & dog daily. If ever I need backup support, I have a network of folks willing to lend a hand. When pet sitting, I follow the instructions given by the owner regarding when to feed, how much food, how often they need to go outside. Beyond that, I typically tidy up the space every evening, sweeping/vacuuming, refreshing waters, etc. I try to develop a routine so that the animals know what to expect and can relax into a sense of order. I generally find ways that each animal likes to play and find games that are fun and rewarding.
“Xanthia is an amazing pet sitter! We used her services for mid day walks when my partner was out of town. She is diligent, kind, reliable and so fun! She was very communicative and showed a lot of care. I would highly recommend her for any pet care.”

I’ll carefully follow your pet’s routine, including medications, feeding schedules, walks, and any special preferences. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and secure home where every pet receives individualized care and close supervision. Because I’m home full-time, your pet is rarely left alone and will enjoy plenty of attention, playtime, enrichment, and affection throughout the day. For boarding, I have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play. Cats have their own private rooms, giving them a quiet, stress-free space to relax and adjust at their own pace. My own pets are friendly and well-socialized, but they remain separate from boarding guests unless an introduction is specifically requested and appropriate. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special instructions you provide. I also take the time to understand each pet’s personality and body language, allowing me to respond appropriately to their individual needs and help them feel safe and secure. To give you peace of mind, I’ll send regular photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every pet as if they were my own, creating a loving environment where they can relax, have fun, and feel at home while you’re away.
“Brittany did a great job. Pip, a shy cat, warmed up to her very quickly and they had play times and lap times together. She did the routine as I asked and showed up consistently. I would definitely recommend her.”

I'll treat your home with the same care and respect I'd want someone to show mine.

“Vanessa saved our trip! She made arrangements to cover 2 visits a day when our backup sitter had an emergency. She dealt very well with my rescued cat who decided to revert to feral and become very uncooperative. Vanessa was in touch with me daily, sometimes more than once, and although my cats did not make her job easy, I never felt like I had to end my trip and come home.”

They were incredible. They really went above and beyond to take care of my little babies. Not only they had amazing communication during the whole week we were away but took the time and find other ways to entertain our kitties. They did everything I needed and more. As of July 2026, there are 3,573 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Midway. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Midway. On Rover:
- 97% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
