“Xanthia is wonderful, and I would love to book her in the future to care for our fur babies! She is warm, communicative, and takes good care of our cats. I am very appreciative of her experience in giving cats medication. I noted that one of our cats was particularly slow at eating and sometimes forgets that she has leftover food, but will come yell at us to let us know that she is still hungry. I had been putting our cat's medication drops on her pate, like I do her brother's. While her brother wolfs his food down, he is probably not bothered by the taste of his medication; she might take forever to eat hers or not eat it at all. Xanthia also mentioned that Selene, our cat, might be better off taking her medication for her thyroid on an empty stomach. I continued what Xanthia tried, of just giving Selene her medication orally and then her food, and she was absolutely correct. I am so grateful that she was open with her advice and tips. Xanthia sometimes has her little ones in tow, and it is so cute seeing them with the cats. I appreciate that they are able to give the cats affection and love when we are not able to. About: I've had animals all my life but now I am an empty nester and would love to help take care of yours. I have raised Rottweilers, trained and shown horses, had chickens and cared for cats. I also used to be a veterinary receptionist/assistant and so have a lot of on-the-job medical training. Attention to detail is key. I am semi-retired so I have a very flexible schedule and can work with yours. I do go to the gym every morning and walk once a day so I am able to stand up to the physical demands of any size animal. I currently do not have any animals at home. I live in a one story house and have a small fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood.

About: I've grown up around Labradors my whole life. Right now I have a yellow lab named Jasmine. She's a very high energy 10 year old dog. She's not the type of lab who likes to play fetch or even go into water. Which I feel is quite odd. The funny thing about Jasmine, she sounds like a monkey at times when she wants to come in the house. A little about me- I love being out in nature. My favorite place to walk is the beautiful Sherwood parks. I feel dog walking could be a lot of fun on my off season of my main job which is school photography. I've worked as a school photographer for 22 years. So I have a lot of patience with kids and feel I could take on any kind of dog. Right now I'm looking to fill my time walking dogs so I can get more exercise and love on many different types of dogs. I'm looking to make some extra money and take some great walks around town. I'm very dependable and will show up when I say I will. I will always make sure your amazing dog is cared for to the fullest and know they will be in safe hands while I have them.

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats with a variety of health needs. I’ve taken care of pets that have needed medication, including a dog that needed pills for anxiety and a cat that needed medication for diabetes. I’m communicative and will keep you as updated and informed as I can. I work four days a week including weekends. I mostly work evening shifts but that sometimes changes. I get up in the morning, run errands, relax until work and I’m usually finished with work around 10:00 pm. My start time at work currently is around 4-6 pm. Pet care fits into any free time I have, as well as on my way to and from work to make sure everyone gets their needed attention and potty breaks. I give all pets the attention they require, make sure they are well fed, in good spirits, and help administer medication as needed too. I follow directions well and keep to schedules as best I can.
