About: I've been looking after dogs, primarily small ones, for quite a long time now. Have had to feed and walk and watch over them plenty of times over the years for family members. Currently unemployed, so my schedule is quite free, which includes all reasonable hours of the day. Currently unable to watch over animals at my place of living. I personally care for my own cat and one of my mother's dogs on the daily, but the house itself isn't fit for me to watch over any additional animals.

About: Being raised on a small farm, there have always been cats & dogs around to share in the ups & downs of life. I love leaning into each individual's personality and working with positive reenforcement to catch the animals doing good behavior! I have experience training/working with dogs of all ages. Sometimes our furry friends need extra care. I am experienced in oral medicine administration, wound care, ear & eye treatments (if need be)! I am available for pet care on a daily basis. I care for my cats & dog daily. If ever I need backup support, I have a network of folks willing to lend a hand. When pet sitting, I follow the instructions given by the owner regarding when to feed, how much food, how often they need to go outside. Beyond that, I typically tidy up the space every evening, sweeping/vacuuming, refreshing waters, etc. I try to develop a routine so that the animals know what to expect and can relax into a sense of order. I generally find ways that each animal likes to play and find games that are fun and rewarding.

About: I’ve been a dog lover and owner my entire life! I’ve cared for puppies to senior dogs, small dogs to herd dogs. I love long walks and helping dogs stay active and entertained! As a college student, I am available on most evenings and weekends, as well as an assortment of afternoons or mornings. I volunteered for a few months at the shelter cleaning cages and taking small dogs out to walk and play. About: I have dogsat for my grandparents numerous times, sometimes up to two weeks before. I’ve had pets my entire life and know how to walk, care and feed them! Pet care fits in my schedule because I care full time for my own cat, who is a Manx breed. He is pretty high energy and is very active, so I’m always giving him attention and caring daily for his needs. I care for my pets at home by making sure they’re fed and watered regularly, and taken outside regularly, as well as giving them attention.

About: I’m an undergraduate environmental science student at Portland State. I recently worked as a student research technician, handling and tracking frogs and documenting their habitats. My family has had our fair share of dogs and cats over the years, which contributed to my love for animals and the outdoors. I’ve cared for the pets and houses of friends and family since 2023, checking in throughout the day to provide meals and quality playtime. --- I enjoy figuring out how to build a true connection with animals, some more unique than others. My family has two cats with very distinct personalities: Evy, our affectionate 13 year old, and Sophie, our 2 year old feisty tortie. We rescued Sophie as a 3 week old kitten, and she began experiencing seizures at just 9 weeks old. This was a scary and confusing time, involving many emergency vet visits. She is now healthy and happy, on a strict schedule requiring medicine by mouth every 12 hours. Each pet I’ve been lucky to have has taught me something, and I’ve had to learn from her the most. She is a high maintenance kitty who doesn’t like pets. She shows her affection in unconventional ways, and I wouldn’t have it any other way :-) Please message me if you're curious about booking me on a date I have marked as unavailable. Though I've marked weekdays starting in late September as unavailable for the time being due to classes starting, I may still be able to provide services. My goal is to spend quality time with your pet(s) and work with you to figure out a schedule that works best for them. I'm available for walks, overnight stays, and/or check-ins throughout the day depending on their needs. I'm most compatible with pets who can be left alone for 4-8 hours, as I have personal responsibilities and may need to walk a dog or check in with someone else's pets (or my own!). --- My current nightly rates are intended for 12 hour care (ex: 6 PM to 6 AM, 8 PM to 8 AM, etc.) and 2-4 drop in visits throughout the day, depending on your need and my availability. Please feel free to message me if you have questions, concerns, or if your pet requires more intensive or constant care. I'll do my best make it work! I'd love to meet with you first and get to know your furry family to see if I'm a good fit for them. I enjoyed walking my dog 2-3 times per day in the neighborhood or on local nature park trails. When caring for others' pets in the past, I'd typically check in 2-3 times a day to feed, play, and relax with them, watering plants as needed. While most have been considered low maintenance, I've gained much more intensive experience with my special needs cat Sophie. --- I appreciate schedules and/or written instructions so I can better adapt to your pet's needs, especially if they require medications or atypical care.

About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. I personally cared for my Shiba Inu for three years, including daily feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, and keeping a consistent routine. I also provided in-home care for a kitten for two months, making sure she was fed on schedule, had a clean litter box, received plenty of playtime and attention, and felt comfortable and safe in a new environment. I have also cared for a friend’s Golden Retriever for a month while they were traveling abroad. I handled his daily walks, feeding, playtime, and general care, while giving him plenty of companionship and attention. I work at a clinic on weekends, but I don’t have a regular job during the rest of the week. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to care for pets. I’m available during most weekdays and can easily adjust my schedule to accommodate each pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment for pets, whether they stay in my home or I care for them in their own home. I don’t smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs, and I’m respectful of the home and the owner’s routines and rules. I genuinely enjoy animals, reading, and going for walks, so I’m happy to spend plenty of time with pets throughout the day, especially if they enjoy companionship and interaction. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully and believe in responsible, science-based pet care rather than making assumptions about what a pet needs. I’m also happy to keep owners updated with regular photos and short messages, so they know how their pet is doing while they’re away. My goal is simply to keep pets safe, comfortable, and happy while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible.

About: Growing up my family had multiple dogs ranging from all ages and sizes so I’ve always been pretty familiar with caring for them. As an adult I am unfortunately not a dog owner (yet), but my roommate has a family dog which she brings over every few weeks and I help care for him as if he was my own. As a career nanny I’ve really only worked with families who have dogs and although its never technically been a part of my job description I’ve always been trusted to take both kiddos & doggos out for walks. Nothing would make me happier than caring for your fur baby! At the moment I only work part time (9am~1pm Tue-Fri) and have a lot of free time on my hands! Might be subject to change in the future depending on my employment. Because I live in a second floor apartment I unfortunately don't have a fenced in yard but there is an empty wide open field right next to my apartments to which I usually take my dog nephew when he is over and he loves it. Depending on the dog they can be leashed or unleashed, I am fine with either. I do have two cats of my own so boarding is preferred for smaller cat friendly dogs but I have no issue dropping in to check on fur babies in their own homes.
