“Every time we leave town, I can’t count the number of times our family says, “we are so thankful we have Suzanne!”. The peace of mind, when leaving town, is priceless. We know, without a doubt, that our little Shih Tzu Milo is receiving top notch care from Suzanne. Not only does she love on him and give him tons of attention, he is also having a great time playing with other dogs. Milo has dietary restrictions and Suzanne ensures he eats separately from the other dogs so that he doesn’t eat anything he is not supposed to. Our boy is almost 3 and has been with Suzanne since he was a pup. Our last dog Ace, was also a frequent at her house. Suzanne is just a lovely person that might actually like dogs even more than me (and I like them A LOT 😂). Her whole house is geared for dogs, including multiple lounging spots throughout the house, toys, dog stairs and her backyard is dog proof. I love that she only watches small dogs so I don’t have to worry about a larger dog accidentally hurting him. Suzanne is amazing at sending daily updates in addition to action photo shots of Milo throughout the day. We always get very excited when we see a new message from Suzanne while we are gone. The updates are fantastic!! I can’t say enough wonderful things about Suzanne! I thank my lucky stars every time we leave. Thank you Suzanne 🤗”

Upon arrival at Irene's house, I was reassured and when Irene sent me pix of my Raffles playing with the other dogs and having an altogether great time, I was totally happy. About: Being raised on a small farm, there have always been cats & dogs around to share in the ups & downs of life. I love leaning into each individual's personality and working with positive reenforcement to catch the animals doing good behavior! I have experience training/working with dogs of all ages. Sometimes our furry friends need extra care. I am experienced in oral medicine administration, wound care, ear & eye treatments (if need be)! I am available for pet care on a daily basis. I care for my cats & dog daily. If ever I need backup support, I have a network of folks willing to lend a hand. When pet sitting, I follow the instructions given by the owner regarding when to feed, how much food, how often they need to go outside. Beyond that, I typically tidy up the space every evening, sweeping/vacuuming, refreshing waters, etc. I try to develop a routine so that the animals know what to expect and can relax into a sense of order. I generally find ways that each animal likes to play and find games that are fun and rewarding.

I’ve stayed in homes of family friend dog owners for a few years now, mostly just taking care of the dogs and going on walks, as well as watering plants when needed. I’m not much of a cat person, I didn’t grow up with cats but I can do what is needed of me. I work part time, around 25 hours a week so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your babies and make sure they are well taken care of.
