After scratching our nine year old neighbor who was trying to watch her while we were out of town as well as an adult neighbor who was also trying to help, I contacted Andrew to see if he could take over. Andrew was able to understand our complicated kitty and did a great job caring for her while we were gone. Mittens adored her time with Andrew, and minimized her attacks under his care. He spent time getting to know her and playing with her. He brought toys and cuddles. He offered helpful tips and resources for taming our spicy feline. About: I've taken care of various animals since I was a teenager. I've helped dogs overcome Parvovirus and kittens overcome emergency situations like choking or a concussion (the concussed cat was my neighbor's years ago). I tend to grow trusting bonds with animals by giving them proper care while also respecting their boundaries. I have pets of my own. I am an Executive Chef and work keeps me busy, but I make my own schedule and love to fill my free time doing things I enjoy, including spending time with fuzzy friends. My mom lives here as well and is home full-time. She helps with taking care of my kids and our pet guests when I'm at work. I have a fenced yard and the animals have free reign of ithe house and yard. My cats also enjoy exploring in the wild outdoors (aka the porch). I like to take dogs for walks and have multi-dog leashes (and bowls). I have grooming supplies because I like to make pets look spiffy and feel soft and clean before they go home. About: I have been pet-sitting for 5 years now locally before joining Rover. I have done overnight care as well as just walks/drop-ins multiple times.
