About: From middle school to college, my family cared for a sweet rescue pup named Ginger! I cuddled with her as often as I could, played music for her, and took her on walks to chase rabbits. Nowadays I live with an adorable cat aptly named Kitty (who's napping against my leg as I type this)! She's my landlady's pet; I look after Kitty every time I'm alone in the house, and Kitty always brightens up my day. :)) I want to learn more about different pet personalities and how to care for them with the respect they deserve. I keep my eye out for unique behaviors and body language quirks, and I'm always game for playtime to help keep their minds and bodies enriched. As a recent college grad, I've got an early morning part-time retail job and am in the midst of applying for a second daytime gig. I anticipate having some afternoons and evenings free! I treat home visits like a peaceful hike in the woods - leave no trace, and enjoy the company! I don't go poking and prodding around unless instructed to. I DO give lots of head pats and scritches if pets want them! I'm careful to refrain from over- and under-feeding pets, and I'm always open to hearing what I can do to improve in any area of pet care. About: I love dogs. Growing up, I've cared for several family dogs, including a shih-poo named Kirby, a german shepherd/lab/husky mix named Beauty, and two miniature golden doodles named Amber and Rusty. I volunteered weekly as a 'Canine Companion' at the Humane Society for three and a half years, walking, training and cleaning up after dogs, and providing feedback to help them find homes. I had a few hours of formal dog training at the Humane Society. My wife used to work as a vet tech, so she's also a great source of knowledge for animal care that I draw from. I drive from Hillsboro to Portland to drop my wife off at College at 10am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; I pick her up at 6pm. I can attend to clients in both locations and Beaverton since I drive this route often. I have a cat in a two bedroom apartment. There's a lot of other dogs and leashless dog parks in the area, which is ideal if your dog is friendly with other animals. I'm used to caring for my friend's cats in his home, bringing in his mail and tending his garden. I bring a calm, quiet presence that keeps the cats relaxed.

Im currently a graduate student so my schedule is pretty flexible for play dates, feedings, medication delivery or grooming. About: I had an English Setter Callie, and loved her as if she were my daughter. After she passed, it was not the same and I really missed her and the unconditional love and happiness she brought into my life. The past two years I've been house sitting for several people all over the United States, which began with an uber driver asking me if I'd look after his Belgian Malinois Berta while he went on a cruise. The experience was great and I realized how much I miss being around animals. I have done dozens of house sits since then, met amazing pets from dogs, cats, lizards, and frogs. I've met some great people in that time as well who I'd help in a heartbeat again should the need arise. On March 2, 2026 I found a chihuahua, Sweetie abandoned walking towards the road while I was house sitting for a customer. I saved her, she wasn't microchipped, no collar, nobody claimed her despite my listings. She is family now and an unbelievable gift in my life. She is 4 years old, very friendly with people, dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. Shes a total sweetheart and I bring her with me on sits, and have been impressed with how different pets interact with her and how they motivate and teach each other little things. I work remotely in financial services as a life insurance, mortgage protection broker. Plenty of schedule flexibility, I schedule all my own clients and appointments. I'm very health conscious and enjoy getting outside hiking, walking trails, or going to the gym to stay fit. Treat pets and homes as if they're your own. Leave things as found or better than when you arrived. I like to keep owners updated consistently usually every 2 or 3 days, with photos and an occasional video of something funny if you catch pets in the act.

I also do not have a job other than this which means I will be with your animals 24/7 I also have worked with aggressive and special needs animals I also have tons of experience with exotic animals and birds like kangaroo's, big birds, and insects I currently don't have a job because I have been in 3 different accidents as a passenger my last accident was in 2022 and honestly I shouldn't be alive but I am glad I survived due to that accident I have a bulging disk in my lower back this is my only job and income.
