About: I’m a teacher who loves to take care of pets in his spare time. I can walk your dog, play with your dog or cat, take care of your cats needs and can house sit as needed. I am free on Thursdays and Fridays as far as week days go. I also can work on the weekend too. I just need notice so that I can accommodate. I am very good at respecting the space of the owners home and can make sure that things are in good order both during and after pet sitting.

About: From middle school to college, my family cared for a sweet rescue pup named Ginger! I cuddled with her as often as I could, played music for her, and took her on walks to chase rabbits. Nowadays I live with an adorable cat aptly named Kitty (who's napping against my leg as I type this)! She's my landlady's pet; I look after Kitty every time I'm alone in the house, and Kitty always brightens up my day. :)) I want to learn more about different pet personalities and how to care for them with the respect they deserve. I keep my eye out for unique behaviors and body language quirks, and I'm always game for playtime to help keep their minds and bodies enriched. If your pet likes music, let me know and I'll bring my flute or cello over to entertain them! As a recent college grad, I've got an early morning part-time retail job and am in the midst of applying for a second daytime gig. I anticipate having some afternoons and evenings free! I treat home visits like a peaceful hike in the woods - leave no trace, and enjoy the company! I don't go poking and prodding around unless instructed to. I DO give lots of head pats and scritches if pets want them! I'm careful to refrain from over- and under-feeding pets, and I'm always open to hearing what I can do to improve in any area of pet care. If you'd like photos or videos of your pet(s) from my visits, I'll happily oblige!

About: I have experience with house sitting both large and small dogs and making sure they get plenty of exercise and care. I also can do plant care as well I currently do doordash and art commissions from home so I have pretty open availability right now! I do have two cats at home so I still need to check in on them as well. I always make sure everything is tidy and that each pet gets equal amount of care. Set daily and weekly routines for them and always check over them to make sure there's nothing abnormal.

About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. I personally cared for my Shiba Inu for three years, including daily feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, and keeping a consistent routine. I also provided in-home care for a kitten for two months, making sure she was fed on schedule, had a clean litter box, received plenty of playtime and attention, and felt comfortable and safe in a new environment. I have also cared for a friend’s Golden Retriever for a month while they were traveling abroad. I handled his daily walks, feeding, playtime, and general care, while giving him plenty of companionship and attention. I’m comfortable following each pet’s individual routine, personality, and care instructions, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I work at a clinic on weekends, but I don’t have a regular job during the rest of the week. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to care for pets. I’m available during most weekdays and can easily adjust my schedule to accommodate each pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment for pets, whether they stay in my home or I care for them in their own home. I don’t smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs, and I’m respectful of the home and the owner’s routines and rules. I genuinely enjoy animals, reading, and going for walks, so I’m happy to spend plenty of time with pets throughout the day, especially if they enjoy companionship and interaction. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully and believe in responsible, science-based pet care rather than making assumptions about what a pet needs. I’m also happy to keep owners updated with regular photos and short messages, so they know how their pet is doing while they’re away. My goal is simply to keep pets safe, comfortable, and happy while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible.

“We can't say enough good things about our experience working with Deborah! This was our first big trip since one of our cats went through some serious health scares this year, so we were anxious about leaving them for this extended trip. After meeting Deborah though, it became clear that she is such a thoughtful, caring cat sitter and that we'd have nothing to worry about. The cats were immediately at ease with her, and she was so committed to understanding our cats' specific needs (including giving meds, tracking weight, and working with our vet tech to administer subcutaneous fluids). During the trip she sent us regular detailed updates and made sure to ask questions whenever any of the directions we left were unclear. We loved receiving so many wonderful photos and videos of the cats playing with Deborah - it allowed us to fully enjoy our time with family seeing how much love and care our kitties were getting over the holidays (especially our one cat that is typically so shy with new people!). Returning home, it's as if we never left. The kitties were so relaxed (clearly having received so much love and attention from Deborah) and the home was neat and tidy. Our medically challenged boy somehow had more energy than before we left! Whether you have young or senior kitties, and whether you need drop-in visits or long-term care, we can't recommend Deborah enough. She is truly a cat whisperer, and we are so grateful we found her! We will 100% be asking her for help again during any future travel. Thank you for everything Deborah!”

About: Ive worked at a dog hotel for 8 plus years and have taken care of all different types of dogs. I get along with any dog I meet and I would love to help care for your baby regardless what stage in life they are at. I work at a dog hotel so I can make almost anything work. Just let me know the situation and we can work together :) I know how to do meds and have been doing them for years. I can handle elderly dogs/cats and younger. I can go on long walks or small walks depending on the dog.

About: I’ve had two dogs and currently have one cat. All of my pets are seniors and incredibly well loved. My best friends in the entire world! I’m currently unemployed as I am waiting for government clearance to start my job as a research assistant! I’m located in the Chicago suburbs so I’m able to provide care to suburbs and Chicago! I’ll provide full attention to your pet and treat them as my own! I love spending time with pets in any setting such as outside or indoors. Pets are a member of a family and should be treated as such!

About: I lived and worked on my grandparents farm from a toddler to about 15/16 years old, taking care of horses, buffalo, cows, dogs and cats. My animals were my family. Although I have no more pets of my own, I am an auntie to 2 beautiful cats my best friend has. I work a lot, but I foresee myself having a farm again one day and raise my kids with the same life I had, full of fur babies. Until then, I will take care of your pets as they were my own. I am a server so my schedule is very flexible. I live downtown and am near lots of parks. I can change my schedule to accommodate usually, except at night. Evenings I am not available most nights from 4-10pm. When I used to stay with my grandparents and their dog Duke, he was trained to stand by the door when he had to go to the bathroom. We fed him twice a day, his water bowl was always always full, we spoiled him so he got cheese and hot dogs most days for treats. We went outside plenty because we lived on a ranch. We played fetch everyday as well. In a clients home, I tend to follow their eating instructions, keep the water bowl always full, only give the animal treats that are approved by the owner, exercise and of course give them the attention I’d give my own. As for others homes, I would listen to instructions, observe behaviors, treat the area with respect, tend to the animal and be present.

About: I’ve had dogs, bunnies, and a cat as a pet myself and they were all happy, social, and mannered (minus the bunnies). I engage, communicate, and train effectively and appropriately. I am not currently working at this time and am hoping I make enough on Rover to provide for my lifestyle. I really want to remain at peace as an individual and that means-loving & nurturing your animals! It’s my number one job pick which should assure you there’s mutton else I’d rather be doing. I have one dog, Carole, that I care for in my home right now. It’s pretty tidy so there’s nothing that animals can get into, I don’t have a fenced in yard however, I do live in an environment with lots of land and a grass pasture to potty in. Carole and I like to go to dog parks, but respect that not all animals have that luxury for numerous reasons. Carole gets along with other animals and people, but finds her space if she is the only one who wants to play.

About: I've taken care of many animals in my life. Dogs, cats, lizards, birds, fish, and a large list of dog breeds/sizes all 25 years I've been alive. I've also been training dogs since I was young. It's something I'm very passionate about and love assisting people with it. I enjoy training and working with dogs. They're my passion and my life revolves around my 3 boys, they're my everything and they keep me busy which I need. I will ask that if your dog isn't trained that I know in advance so preparations can be made. I take Kiba and Ryuk, and Champion on multiple walks and play vigorously. We also do lots of mental stimulation alongside physical exercise. We also train multiple times daily.
