About: From middle school to college, my family cared for a sweet rescue pup named Ginger! I cuddled with her as often as I could, played music for her, and took her on walks to chase rabbits. Nowadays I live with an adorable cat aptly named Kitty (who's napping against my leg as I type this)! She's my landlady's pet; I look after Kitty every time I'm alone in the house, and Kitty always brightens up my day. :)) I want to learn more about different pet personalities and how to care for them with the respect they deserve. I keep my eye out for unique behaviors and body language quirks, and I'm always game for playtime to help keep their minds and bodies enriched. If your pet likes music, let me know and I'll bring my flute or cello over to entertain them! As a recent college grad, I've got an early morning part-time retail job and am in the midst of applying for a second daytime gig. I anticipate having some afternoons and evenings free! I treat home visits like a peaceful hike in the woods - leave no trace, and enjoy the company! I don't go poking and prodding around unless instructed to. I DO give lots of head pats and scritches if pets want them! I'm careful to refrain from over- and under-feeding pets, and I'm always open to hearing what I can do to improve in any area of pet care. About: It’s hard to find someone to trust to watch your fur babies. I’m hoping to give you peace of mind when you are away. I can be flexible to a pet’s needs including exercise, socialization, potty schedule and medication regiments. I can’t think of a time in my life we didn’t have animals. As a child I wanted to be a Veterinarian. I worked at an animal hospital for a few years in my early 20’s. It was a great experience. I live close to a dog park and Forest Park or will take your dog on a run if needed. Also, there is also an emergency vet clinic nearby; just in case. A daily check in can be provided including photos. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby!! I work from home so my pet routine with Lilly and Winston grounds me. Especially for morning and evening feedings and daily walks. As they are getting older our activity has slowed but I’m ready to meet the exercise levels for any pet that I’m sitting. I have a fenced yard with two friendly dogs. I have been working with animals nearly my whole life so adding new animals to our pack is second nature.

I am a cat and dog momma, and have also had chickens, turkeys, ducks, and goats in the past. About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. I personally cared for my Shiba Inu for three years, including daily feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, and keeping a consistent routine. I also provided in-home care for a kitten for two months, making sure she was fed on schedule, had a clean litter box, received plenty of playtime and attention, and felt comfortable and safe in a new environment. I have also cared for a friend’s Golden Retriever for a month while they were traveling abroad. I handled his daily walks, feeding, playtime, and general care, while giving him plenty of companionship and attention. I work at a clinic on weekends, but I don’t have a regular job during the rest of the week. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to care for pets. I’m available during most weekdays and can easily adjust my schedule to accommodate each pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment for pets, whether they stay in my home or I care for them in their own home. I don’t smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs, and I’m respectful of the home and the owner’s routines and rules. I genuinely enjoy animals, reading, and going for walks, so I’m happy to spend plenty of time with pets throughout the day, especially if they enjoy companionship and interaction. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully and believe in responsible, science-based pet care rather than making assumptions about what a pet needs. I’m also happy to keep owners updated with regular photos and short messages, so they know how their pet is doing while they’re away. My goal is simply to keep pets safe, comfortable, and happy while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible.

I provide reliable drop-in visits that prioritize your cat’s comfort and individual needs. I have a lot of hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all temperaments. I read their body language well and know how to help them feel relaxed and at ease in new situations. I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available on weekends from 8am–4pm, and weekdays work too with at least one day’s notice. Tell me what times you’re looking for, and I’ll accommodate as much as possible. “Wow. Jade went above and beyond for my cat. I told Jade before she watched my cat, Sister, that I was nervous because she’s such an anxious cat and I didn’t want things to be too difficult. Fret not. I come home to see my cat out in the living room- basking in the sun, not a care in the world. She wasn’t hiding like she usually does when new people are around, no, she was purring and relaxed. When I went to pet Sister, I made a crazy discovery. Her nails? Trimmed. Her hair? Washed. Not only that, I had told Jade not to worry about the litter box since I wouldn’t be gone for long. And what did Jade do? She deep cleaned it. Deep cleaned my cat’s litter box just because. I mean come on. Talk about a cat sitter! I could not recommend this girl more. She’s thoughtful, she’s kind, she’s an animal whisperer. Just when you think things couldn’t be better, Jade says just wait. 5 stars and a happy cat waiting for Jade’s return.”
