About: Hey there! I’ve been around and caring for animals for most of my life and have hands-on experience with dogs and cats . I currently work in veterinary medicine, so I’m comfortable caring for animals with different needs, recognizing changes in behavior, and making sure pets are safe and comfortable. I have experience with puppies, senior pets, large and strong dogs. I’m comfortable handling animals that need extra patience, space, and understanding. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals, whether that means walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or just keeping them company while you’re away! I own and operate my own farrier business, so I may occasionally be away for a couple of hours during the day while I’m working with horses. I’ll always discuss this with you beforehand to make sure your pet is comfortable being left alone for a few hours. If they aren’t, no worries at all! I can also schedule my farrier work around whatever your pet may need. Outside of work, I’ll have plenty of time for walks, playtime, attention, and care. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and at home. I have years of hands-on experience with animals and am comfortable with dogs, cats, horses, and small animals, including nervous or reactive pets. About: I love dogs. Growing up, I've cared for several family dogs, including a shih-poo named Kirby, a german shepherd/lab/husky mix named Beauty, and two miniature golden doodles named Amber and Rusty. I volunteered weekly as a 'Canine Companion' at the Humane Society for three and a half years, walking, training and cleaning up after dogs, and providing feedback to help them find homes. I had a few hours of formal dog training at the Humane Society. My wife used to work as a vet tech, so she's also a great source of knowledge for animal care that I draw from. I drive from Hillsboro to Portland to drop my wife off at College at 10am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; I pick her up at 6pm. I can attend to clients in both locations and Beaverton since I drive this route often. I have a cat in a two bedroom apartment. There's a lot of other dogs and leashless dog parks in the area, which is ideal if your dog is friendly with other animals. I'm used to caring for my friend's cats in his home, bringing in his mail and tending his garden. I bring a calm, quiet presence that keeps the cats relaxed.

About: Ive been around dogs my whole life! A couple things to note with me is that I as well love hiking and if you'd like more exercise while your away for your furry friend i love taking them on moderately easy hikes to see Oregon, just like you and me! My favorite category for dogs are bigger ones my all time favorite is pit bulls. I as well love reptiles and one day hope to have a snake! I work part-time from Thursday-Sunday and go to college M-Th and Saturdays. So im available after class and before work days! Im a College student working to get an associates for the fire service, and will one day be a woman firefighter ! So I'm strong, patient, and easy-going. My parents have 2 cats and 1 dog Ive looked after when they go onto trips. So the usual feeding, watering, and changing litter. And when it comes to the dog, walks as well!

About: Ive worked at a dog hotel for 8 plus years and have taken care of all different types of dogs. I get along with any dog I meet and I would love to help care for your baby regardless what stage in life they are at. I work at a dog hotel so I can make almost anything work. This was our first big trip since one of our cats went through some serious health scares this year, so we were anxious about leaving them for this extended trip. After meeting Deborah though, it became clear that she is such a thoughtful, caring cat sitter and that we'd have nothing to worry about. The cats were immediately at ease with her, and she was so committed to understanding our cats' specific needs (including giving meds, tracking weight, and working with our vet tech to administer subcutaneous fluids). During the trip she sent us regular detailed updates and made sure to ask questions whenever any of the directions we left were unclear. We loved receiving so many wonderful photos and videos of the cats playing with Deborah - it allowed us to fully enjoy our time with family seeing how much love and care our kitties were getting over the holidays (especially our one cat that is typically so shy with new people!). Returning home, it's as if we never left. The kitties were so relaxed (clearly having received so much love and attention from Deborah) and the home was neat and tidy. Our medically challenged boy somehow had more energy than before we left!
