I like animals more than people.
I am passionately experienced in loving & caring for animals for over 30 years. I treat my animals (past & present) like they are my babies! I have a 10yr old boxer mix, Bear, that I rescued from the LHS. He is so loving, well behaved and has an special personality. I also have another precious rescue, Hardy Joe. He’s a Red Healer mix, who’s 7. They are the best brothers <3. We are a blended family so we also have a 4yr old Labradoodle, Forest. Through Rover, I hope to meet & love many new fur babies. I am completely open to adapting to food schedules, medications, and other special instructions. I know how picky I am when letting someone care for my babes, so please believe your pet will be in the best care possible while you are away. I work from home so I am very flexible. April was so thoughtful and went above and beyond checking in on our cats while we were away! We got lots of pictures and updates, and our kitty babies were clearly well-loved while we were gone.
A big thank you to April who took great care of our two cats while we were away! Good communication/pics, enthusiastic about our pets, and went above and beyond to do a great job. She handled a few technical hiccups on our end (alarm system, locks) with understanding and good humor. We felt very comfortable knowing our cats were in great hands. Thank you so much, we'll definitely book again!
April was wonderful! She helped with a quick drop-in for my new puppy and did such a great job. She was friendly, reliable, and clearly cared about making sure he was comfortable and happy. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. Highly recommend her!
April is the best petsitter we've ever had. Her communication was fantastic. She met with us in advance to make sure she knew how to do everything and she did everything perfectly. She followed our instructions exactly and went above and beyond in looking out for our property. My cats loved her! And I loved getting updates including pictures and wonderful videos everyday. I felt completely confident in her care of my precious babies and knew they were safe and protected while we were out of the country. April is just the best!
April did such a terrific job taking care of my two relatively new cats, Moonie and Orbit, that I couldn't even tell we had left town. Everything was spic and span. The cats were relaxed and happy. They are excited to see April again soon!

Schedule
I primarily work from home so my schedule is consistently flexible. I can accept some same day requests, I know life happens & it’s sometimes unpredictable.

- I would like to schedule a meet n greet before the first initial visit. (For drop ins or walks) I would also need to know where the key will be hidden, or any code I may need. Where treats are located. Any special needs or requests. (For boarding) I would want to know feeding and potty schedules, any allergies or medications, if they have any triggers, if they chew on things other than toys, and anything else you think I should know outside of the norm.
