We work from home and have two pups, Emilio Estevez and Bruce Willis. We enjoy having pups around our home and love watching them run around in the yard. 🐶 When staying with us, your pup(s) will interact with every member of our family; as well as a pup or two from other households. They will get lots of cuddles, playtime and downtime as needed. During the day, pup(s) are free to roam around and lounge anywhere downstairs, including the furniture. They also have unrestricted access to our large fenced backyard. At night time, pup(s) will sleep downstairs with our pups in their own crate or playpen. We have plenty of toys and always happy to play fetch or take them on walks around the neighborhood.

I have pets of my own so I would need the flexibility to check on my pets from time to time. Working in pet drop-ins and dog walks around my work schedule is easy. I can board your pet at my house most Sundays-Tuesdays. I am able to care for your pet(s) in the specific ways that you need. I will not create or enforce bad habits. I have no problem crating your pet, keeping them off the furniture, following a strict diet, or administering medication. I live out in the country on 15 acres and have many animals. Inside the house lives a 4-year-old sweet German Short-hair pointer and 50% of the time I am watching a friend's cat. If your dog loves to run, my place would be heaven. This would only be ideal for dogs that come when they are called as there is no fencing. The other option would be that your pet stays inside and only ventures out with a leash. I have 12 acres of timber so walks in the woods are super fun!

However, within our first meet and greet with Barry and Shaka we were comfortable, knowing Callie would be in good hands. Barry sent daily updates and pictures everyday. Allowing us to be more at ease on our trip. Communication was great as he was quick to respond and was very flexible with our drop off time, when we were running behind. Barry has experience with senior dogs, he was kind and understanding with all of Callie’s feeding and meds instructions. We could tell, Callie really enjoyed all the smells in the garden and the calm setting. We can’t say enough, other than we are so glad we found Barry and we would highly recommend him.”

“We had such an amazing first Rover experience with Britney and truly could not have asked for a better person to care for our two female German Shepherds. From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative, which immediately helped ease a lot of the anxiety that comes with leaving your dogs with someone new. She kept us updated daily with pictures and videos of our girls playing, being goofy, relaxing, and genuinely looking comfortable and happy in her home. Those updates meant so much to us and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Britney was also very upfront and honest with any questions or observations regarding the dogs and was always open to suggestions that could help them settle in more comfortably. One of the biggest things we appreciated was her experience with German Shepherds. You can absolutely tell she understands the breed and their personalities, energy levels, and needs since she previously owned one herself. She had toys available, a great environment for them, and also boarded only our girls without other dogs during their stay, which made us feel even more comfortable and helped reduce stress for them. She also gave us thoughtful feedback, training tips, and helpful suggestions that we genuinely appreciated as first-time Rover users and German Shepherd owners still learning along the way. It never felt judgmental, just supportive and caring. Overall, Britney went above and beyond for our girls, and we are so grateful for the care, patience, and attention she gave them. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, experienced, and genuinely caring for their pets.☺️🐾🩷”
