“Adara is wonderful. Milo gets his walk 4x a week and I can tell he is much calmer when I get home from work. Adara always makes sure to update me with details of the walk and how he did with other dogs and people. Milo has a past history of behavior problems so I knew I needed someone confident and Adara handles him like a pro.”

“Elizabeth was incredible with my two boys! I am so grateful to have them in such capable hands while I was away. She was prompt, played/loved them, and sent pictures! Thank you thank you!”

“Extremely happy to have met Andre and McKenzie. Andre showed up on time and took Miley out for her morning walk. Miley was a little nervous at first, but what girl isn’t on a first date. She quickly settled in and off they went for a grand adventure. Their afternoon walk also went smoothly as Miley wasn’t so nervous and was ready to go with just a slight hesitation. I suspect Miley, Andre and McKenzie will be off on more adventures in the future. As for me, I very cautious with who cares for Miley, I couldn’t be happier with my choice. We will be repeat customers.”

“We really appreciated Andrea's dog walking services. She was respectful and trustworthy! She did a great job walking our 2 puppies while we were away. She sent us cute pictures and gave us peace of mind that they were being well taken care of! I would definitely use her again!”

About: The first and only thing I ever begged my parents for was my very own dog... I didn't care how big/small, young/old it was but I knew it would be my best friend. I got my very own dog when I was 11 years old for Christmas and now, almost 17 years later I could never imagine life without dogs in it. Our only pet is our puppy Georgia who is a 5 month old Lab/Pit mix and we adore her so much! She is great with other dogs and loves all people. Aside from my love of dogs (and all animals) I am Certified as a Dog Trainer and also Certified as a Veterinary Assistant, which means I am also capable of administering medication while you are away. I am home just about 24/7 so any dog that stays with me will never be left alone. I look forward to meeting and speaking with you, thank you! -Megan R.

“Natalie was always on time or expressed if she had a conflict. My dogs loved her. She was very accommodating. We will definitely will use her in the future.”

About: I offer visits of all size dogs, cats, birds, and some exotic animals, to your home. I also offer potty break walks. I have been a volunteer dog trainer, behavior helpline volunteer, kennel and foster volunteer. I have enjoyed pets all my life. I teach dogs to have good manners indoors because I believe pets are part of the family. My furry and feathered critters include a 8 year old King Charles Spaniel, a 9 year old terrier, and 2 cockatiels. About this sitter: Hi! I am a long time animal lover. I have spent many years volunteering for various rescues and shelters. Currently I foster both dogs and cats occasionally for area rescues. I taught dog obedience for two years, and also worked on an animal behavior helpline. I would love to help the families of furry friends feel confident that their critters are in good hands while they are away. Why I love dog sitting I've always had dogs in my life. I helped my parents train their dogs for competition obedience. Later I had dogs of my own. I became a volunteer obedience trainer, groomer, and dog walker/socializer for animals in local animal shelters. I have also been a foster for area rescues for the last 2 years. I have been a pet sitter for at least 10 years. About my yard I have a fenced back yard and a large dog run. The yard is grassy, and the dog run is gravel and bark chips. I have a great neighborhood for walks, and a dog park nearby if that is wanted by the client. I am retired from teaching and have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My birds free fly in their room, so I do have experience in getting them back into their cage at night. I enjoy training, brushing/grooming, and playing with all sorts of animals. I am familiar with crate training and enjoy short walks, if that is needed.

About: Hi there! I’m a University of Portland alum now working at a local gluten-free bakery, where I get to combine my love for baking with my skills in marketing and sales. When I’m not at the bakery, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my two sweet kitties, Biscuits and Luna, or helping my husband with his fish tank! I’ve been pet sitting since middle school, and it’s something that’s always brought me joy. I grew up on a small farm surrounded by chickens, horses, ducks, goats, dogs, and a cat, so caring for animals of all kinds feels second nature to me. Over the years, I’ve looked after pets and homes for neighbors, family, and friends, and I’ve also completed a pre-veterinary technician course to deepen my knowledge. I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets like their own, and I’d love to be that person for you. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just want to chat and see if we’re a good fit. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry (or scaly!) family! I have free time on Mondays, the weekends and sometimes evenings. I am flexible to a certain extent, so send me a message if you have further questions about care or need a special schedule. I do not host animals in my home, but I am always available for check-ins, quality time, and/or walks. Reach out if you need any more information.

About: My passion for animals runs deep. I have been taking care of dogs since childhood (35+ years). Professionally, I have experience working at a doggie daycare and for a self-service dog wash. I understand the importance of keeping pets on a consistent, healthy diet and administering medication properly. As a doggie daycare attendant, sometimes managing 60 dogs at once, I understand the importance of reading dog behavior and redirecting to diffuse situations. This skill translates to dog walking when there are many different stimuli - other dogs, people, squirrels, traffic, something on the ground they should not eat, etc. I understand the importance of being consistent with dog training and using the same commands as the owners is key. Dogs come in all shapes and sizes but it is important to be intentional with each dog's particular needs and understand their unique personality. There is a special place in my heart for senior dogs. I have been running a small hobby farm since 2016 and have experience with chickens, ducks, turkeys, rabbits, cats, peacocks, pigs, and goats. Feel free to reach out for any unique pet care needs. I view all animals as God's creatures. My schedule is often flexible. I work part-time in Beaverton Wednesday-Saturday. Much of my work can be done online so if you need me to watch your pet in your house for an extended amount of time, a requirement would be reliable internet or the ability to come and go as needed. I have pets of my own so I would need the flexibility to check on my pets from time to time. Working in pet drop-ins and dog walks around my work schedule is easy. I can board your pet at my house most Sundays-Tuesdays. I am able to care for your pet(s) in the specific ways that you need. I will not create or enforce bad habits. I have no problem crating your pet, keeping them off the furniture, following a strict diet, or administering medication. I live out in the country on 15 acres and have many animals. Inside the house lives a 4-year-old sweet German Short-hair pointer and 50% of the time I am watching a friend's cat. If your dog loves to run, my place would be heaven. This would only be ideal for dogs that come when they are called as there is no fencing. The other option would be that your pet stays inside and only ventures out with a leash. I have 12 acres of timber so walks in the woods are super fun!

“Kayla is upbeat and understands dogs very well. When Zazzie goes for a walk with her I’m confident they’re having a good time. She’s responsive and helpful.”

About: I have loved animals since I was a little girl and it is truly an integral part of who I am. I’ve had cats and dogs of my own, and have brought home strays more times than I can count (sorry mom). I was lucky enough to spend 2 years volunteering at an amazing animal shelter in New Jersey, where I was responsible for walking dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also spent time in the cattery, ensuring the kitties were socialized, clean, and fed. I am a traveling physical therapist currently between contracts, so I have a lot of flexibility with dog walks/drop ins right now. I am also flexible with doggy daycare, but would need our dogs to meet beforehand. I only take one dog per day so I am able to give my full attention to your fur baby and mine. Boarding can also be arranged as long as your pup and Penny are able to co-exist (and hopefully have a ball together). I always want to make sure your pet is calm and comfortable, whether I am coming to your home or they are coming to mine. I’d be happy to facetime or do a meet and greet beforehand, and will always send you an update on how your babe is doing. When coming to our house, my husband David may or may not be home (his work schedule varies). He loves animals (almost) as much as I do, and we actually met at the NJ shelter that I later went on to volunteer at :)

“Luna and Dexter were so happy to get a walk! April was wonderful with them! So glad to have found her!!”
