About: I’ve worked with dogs since I was a child. I’ve been exposed to large dog breeds (ex. Rottweilers & German Shepherds) as well as small dog breeds (ex. corgis & dachshund's). I am a certified dog trainer, with 9 years experience and can work in some Basic Obedience work with your dog during their stay or we can talk about some behavior modification and steps to move forward for private lessons. I currently work part time and have plenty of time and energy to work with and take care of your pup. I work with my own dogs twice a day but those sessions are very flexible. I don’t currently have a fully fenced in yard, but I have access to 5 private acres I can walk your pup on a long line. I utilize martingale collars to prevent any mishaps or escaping. About: I love dogs. Growing up, I've cared for several family dogs, including a shih-poo named Kirby, a german shepherd/lab/husky mix named Beauty, and two miniature golden doodles named Amber and Rusty. I volunteered weekly as a 'Canine Companion' at the Humane Society for three and a half years, walking, training and cleaning up after dogs, and providing feedback to help them find homes. I had a few hours of formal dog training at the Humane Society. My wife used to work as a vet tech, so she's also a great source of knowledge for animal care that I draw from. I drive from Hillsboro to Portland to drop my wife off at College at 10am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; I pick her up at 6pm. I can attend to clients in both locations and Beaverton since I drive this route often. I have a cat in a two bedroom apartment. There's a lot of other dogs and leashless dog parks in the area, which is ideal if your dog is friendly with other animals. I'm used to caring for my friend's cats in his home, bringing in his mail and tending his garden. I bring a calm, quiet presence that keeps the cats relaxed.

I have worked with animals as young as 4 months old to as old as 18 years old and had to administer medication. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, horses, goats, fish, birds, and cows. I am a teacher so I am available any time during the week to stay over and with breaks I can go and let them out for play and potty time. I’m off work after 3:45 so your pet babies will have lots of attention! I also have summers off (June-August) and can be home with your pets all day! I live in an apartment at this time so I will not be able to keep your animals here, but I am able to come to your home and be there as much or as little as you need me to be! I want what is best for your pet since I know they are part of your family. When you put your trust in me, I take that very seriously and anything you need directions wise will be followed since you know your pet best!

Cats feel special as I make sure to give them love if they want it, otherwise they have food, clean water, and a clean litter box every day! I'm super responsible and reliable, and I have been asked to house sit numerous times since I'm also really clean and quiet and take very good care of people's homes. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
