About: I’ve worked with dogs since I was a child. I’ve been exposed to large dog breeds (ex. Rottweilers & German Shepherds) as well as small dog breeds (ex. corgis & dachshund's). I am a certified dog trainer, with 9 years experience and can work in some Basic Obedience work with your dog during their stay or we can talk about some behavior modification and steps to move forward for private lessons. I currently work part time and have plenty of time and energy to work with and take care of your pup. I work with my own dogs twice a day but those sessions are very flexible. I don’t currently have a fully fenced in yard, but I have access to 5 private acres I can walk your pup on a long line. I utilize martingale collars to prevent any mishaps or escaping. I utilize positive reinforcement to connect and have clear communication with each dog I interact with.

I am currently freelance and remote, so I am able to change my schedule around to suite the needs of both you and your pet. Growing up, I've cared for several family dogs, including a shih-poo named Kirby, a german shepherd/lab/husky mix named Beauty, and two miniature golden doodles named Amber and Rusty. I volunteered weekly as a 'Canine Companion' at the Humane Society for three and a half years, walking, training and cleaning up after dogs, and providing feedback to help them find homes. I had a few hours of formal dog training at the Humane Society. My wife used to work as a vet tech, so she's also a great source of knowledge for animal care that I draw from. I drive from Hillsboro to Portland to drop my wife off at College at 10am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; I pick her up at 6pm. I can attend to clients in both locations and Beaverton since I drive this route often. I have a cat in a two bedroom apartment. There's a lot of other dogs and leashless dog parks in the area, which is ideal if your dog is friendly with other animals. I'm used to caring for my friend's cats in his home, bringing in his mail and tending his garden. I bring a calm, quiet presence that keeps the cats relaxed.

About: Dogs are life. I've raised and trained several puppies, healed sick dogs with herbs and cared generally for dogs my entire life. I actually became an herbalist because I started healing dogs first. I live and work at home so I currently have all the time in the world to pamper, hike with and love up your pups. I have a fenced yard in the back and a whole 5 acres of roaming land and a doggo to keep your company and show em the lay of the land.

About: I just moved to Portland and I work remotely so I can definitely spend time with any pets I care for! Growing up my family always had pets and I loved taking care of them! My family currently has one dog and anytime I go back to Southern California to visit I love hanging out with her. Throughout my life I've always been the one to call for pet sitting when neighbors and friends go away on vacation. I really love taking care of their dogs and cats while they're away. Along with helping my friends and family take care of their pets I've also worked at a pet supply store where I interacted with animals daily. Before moving to Portland I lived in Bend where I had a good amount of repeat pet sitting gigs and I loved them like they were my own. Before moving to Oregon I lived in San Francisco for about 12 years. While living in San Francisco I volunteered with the SPCA which was definitely a great experience! I've always loved animals and I feel like I am just happier around them :D I currently work from home so I can spend all day everyday with the pets I care for! I love going on walks throughout the week and my work schedule is flexible so I can take your pet out anytime :) I follow all rules your pet currently has so it doesn’t disrupt their daily routine. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 10. I grew up with many dogs, cats, even chickens. I grew up with four different corgis as well as a yellow lab & various cats. I’ve pet sit for numerous friends, families, colleagues, and neighbors throughout my entire life. I’ve dog walked at the Oregon Humane society as a teenager mostly walking pit bulls which have a special place in my heart. Ive pet sit all kinds of cats & I’ve worked with almost all kinds of dogs, as little as a chihuahua and big as a Saint Bernard. Animals are 100% innocent & they need to be protected, loved, & guided. It means so much to me to be able to do that. So many Animals feel joy so easily & naturally & they bring me joy in the same way. Animals are really a huge importance to me & are creatures who truly love unconditionally. I believe animals have an inner life we can’t comprehend from our own human viewpoints & understanding of consciousness. But In my experience at least, they have souls, big emotions, big hearts, and can be deeply in tune with humans and others energy and needs. They communicate with us in various ways all the time. They communicate they’re listening, need you, love you, or express joy or any emotion, or even communicate on behalf of other humans or animals. Some animals will be service to humans or rescue us even as a complete stranger. We’re all creatures & I see us as equals because we all exist in this world together-separately but together. As a former teacher, one of the most significant things I learned is how important play and physical activity is to well being-it helps us physically & thus mentally & emotionally, this applies to both animals during play time & walk time-as well as animal caregivers! Playing & walking are super rewarding & beneficial to my overall health & it’s a never ending circle because I get super happy seeing dogs joyful while out in nature & on their walks. I’m helping them be happy & healthy & they’re helping me be happy & healthy! Cuddles & physical touch varies depending on animals needs but overall pets love & benefit greatly from physical affection & humans do too Availability does change month to month especially with more regular clients who snag up dates quicker so best to plan out a stay a week or two in advance. However I definitely accept same day/week bookings as well! Just depends on the week/my calendar so feel free to always ask! If you’re seeking more regular care that is always welcomed! I’d prefer to ultimately have more regular clients with longer stays but open to all Caring for your pets in my home isn’t an option at the moment but I am fully capable and happy to care for your pets in your home. It’s important clients know that in my care pets will be sure to get plenty of water, be fed, have plenty of walks, potty breaks, baths, as well as given cuddles medication or any other specific needs, they are going to be met. The house will be well secured whether we are away on a walk or it’s an overnight stay. Respect of others space is important to me & only designated areas & items will be used. I have experience Housesitting with and without animals so if special requests such as watering plants, taking out garbage, or special pet/house care-anything, I’m open to that so don’t hesitate to ask.

About: I have spent my whole life growing up with a wide variety of dogs and cats, and also rabbits, geckos, fish, shrimp and African dwarf frogs! Although I don’t have the resources to have a fur baby, I love and adore my aquarium and would love to care for your fur babies as well! i have a very flexible work schedule that allows me to crate my own hours, as well as work from home as much as needed.
