About: I’ve been surrounded by pets for as long as I can remember! Growing up as the main caretaker for our domestic shorthairs and Burmese cats gave me a natural feel for feline personalities, daily routines, and keeping cats happy and comfortable. Over the years, our family home was also filled with dogs of all kinds, including a high-energy Border Collie and sweet sighthounds like our Greyhound and Whippet. Having such a diverse pack taught me how to adjust to different energy levels, training styles, and exercise needs with patience and care. I’m currently the daily caregiver for a wonderful Labrador, and for the past several years, I’ve also loved stepping in as a reliable pet sitter for my neighbors when they travel, making sure their fur babies feel safe, loved, and right at home while their owners are away. My schedule is super flexible! I’m currently a college student, but because almost all of my coursework is completed online, my days are wide open. Aside from the occasional weekday morning for a class or check-in, I’m available throughout the day and week whenever your pet needs drop-in visits, feeding, or extra playtime and cuddles. Safety and trust are my absolute top priorities whenever I’m caring for your pets, whether we are hanging out in your home or out on a walk. Years of hands-on experience with both dogs and cats mean I know how to spot potential household hazards before they become an issue, and I’m completely comfortable following routines like crating when needed. I’m also a keen observer of animal body language, so I always know when a pet is looking for extra comfort or prefers a little breathing room. Because I spend my free time constantly researching animal behaviour, friends and family actually joke that I am way too serious about pet safety. I wear that as a badge of honour because I am fiercely dedicated to making sure every animal in my care stays secure, comfortable, and genuinely happy.

About: I currently spend a lot of time at home, so your pet will not be left alone for long periods. My home is safe, quiet, and has a spacious yard where pets can play and relax. I am gentle, responsible, and will treat your pet like my own. I can provide feeding, playtime, and companionship, and I will make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you are away. I and my family have a wonderful relationship with dogs. I spend most of my time at home, so I have a very flexible schedule for pet care. Your pet will have plenty of attention and will not be left alone for long periods. I am available on both weekdays and weekends, and I can adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs, including feeding, walks, and playtime. I have a lovely yard and home alone with no kid or other pet, I only take only one pet at a time to make sure he/she gets enough care and attention.

About: I’ve been raising animals since I was a child and have continued throughout life. Golden retriever and German Sheppard was my first two dogs. Have raised and taken care of all types of dogs big and small. All with different personalities and needs whether it be meds or to not be around other animals at all. Absolutely love our fur animals and they will be treated just as I treat mine. I’m current available most weekdays and weekends with an hour or two of dr appointments and then can be right back to your furry family member. I can do overnights and extended stays if you want a vacation but your animal to enjoy staying in their home. I care for your pets as if they are my own. Very safe and have great situational awareness. Even with a fenced in yard I still go out with the dogs to play, pick up poop, and to make sure they don’t escape.

About: I love dogs. Growing up, I've cared for several family dogs, including a shih-poo named Kirby, a german shepherd/lab/husky mix named Beauty, and two miniature golden doodles named Amber and Rusty. I volunteered weekly as a 'Canine Companion' at the Humane Society for three and a half years, walking, training and cleaning up after dogs, and providing feedback to help them find homes. I had a few hours of formal dog training at the Humane Society. My wife used to work as a vet tech, so she's also a great source of knowledge for animal care that I draw from. I drive from Hillsboro to Portland to drop my wife off at College at 10am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; I pick her up at 6pm. I can attend to clients in both locations and Beaverton since I drive this route often. I have a cat in a two bedroom apartment. There's a lot of other dogs and leashless dog parks in the area, which is ideal if your dog is friendly with other animals. I'm used to caring for my friend's cats in his home, bringing in his mail and tending his garden. I bring a calm, quiet presence that keeps the cats relaxed.

About: I’m a teacher who loves to take care of pets in his spare time. I can walk your dog, play with your dog or cat, take care of your cats needs and can house sit as needed. I am free on Thursdays and Fridays as far as week days go. I also can work on the weekend too. I just need notice so that I can accommodate. About: I have experience with house sitting both large and small dogs and making sure they get plenty of exercise and care. I also can do plant care as well I currently do doordash and art commissions from home so I have pretty open availability right now! I do have two cats at home so I still need to check in on them as well. I always make sure everything is tidy and that each pet gets equal amount of care. Set daily and weekly routines for them and always check over them to make sure there's nothing abnormal.

About: Our first family dog was the sweetest Golden Retriever you could ever meet, and my current doggos are a wonderfully sassy Husky and a Pit Bull who is a bit of a chaos gremlin. I’ve also had the pleasure of owning an energetic Blue Heeler, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’m happy to learn and follow the commands, routines, and cues that your dog is familiar with, so they can feel comfortable and confident while you’re away. As a pet owner myself, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own—with plenty of love, attention, playtime, and, of course, treats when they’re allowed! I am a teacher who currently works part time, so I have afternoons free for house visits, potty breaks and a little human interaction. My weekends are open for pet sitting in your home. My pets have their spare human at my house, but I wouldn’t want to neglect them for more than about three or four days. I work in the Hillsboro area and live in the St John’s area, so working in either of those cities would be wonderfully convenient. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’ll follow their usual feeding, medication, exercise, and play schedules as closely as possible. I’m respectful of each family’s space and routines, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel connected to your pets while you’re away. About: Returning to Rover and excited to get to know some new furry friends. I’ve had experience taking care of the fur children of a good number of close friends and clients on Rover. They have relied on me for house sitting, dog walking, and drop-ins. My living situation has recently changed to apartment living so unfortunately, I can’t currently board pets at my home. In the interest of complete transparency, I am currently between jobs and working independently through DoorDash. I need to meet weekly finance goals to sustain myself, but I am flexible and will make taking care of your pet a priority. I have professional emergency medical training as an EMT and trauma technician, including CPR, emergency response, and patient care. I am familiar with first aid principles and continue to expand my knowledge of pet-specific care. I was raised with pets, taking care of them growing up. I had 2 dogs, a cat, two hamsters, a gecko, and a box turtle which I cared for independently. As of my current season of life, I am busy but very flexible to make pet care a priority. Unfortunately, I currently cannot board pets at my residence. However, I have vast experience in house sitting. I can do extended stays overnight or just drop-ins as needed, apart from pet care, I am absolutely willing to maintain other needs of your home while you’re away such as watering plants, maintaining or caring for tank/enclosure animals, farm animals or other house needs. I’m highly respectful of your living space and self-sufficient in providing you with peace of mind for your home and animals while you are away.
