“Ron did a wonderful job caring for our dog, Henry, and was great about administering the special eye medication our guy requires. This was the second time we’ve left Henry with Ron and both times he seemed happy and comfortable there. There’s a big back yard to sniff around in and a comfy couch for lounging. Ron’s calm demeanor really made Henry feel at home, and Henry came home happy and in great shape. We will definitely contact Ron for any future dog sitting needs!”
“Paula is a dog person thru and thru and I loved knowing my Lily pug was safe in her care. Will use Paula again :) Thank you again for taking such good care of our lily pug!”

“So and John took good care of Gracie while we were away for 3 days. Gracie is a little nervous around other dogs and they gave her separate space to keep her comfortable. She seemed to be getting along fine in the video clips provided. She ate and slept well and I’m sure she loved all the attention she received.”

“Melani was great taking care of CalCal my goldendoodle. We met up beforehand to make sure my dog would get along with her dog. She sent many photos during the boarding. Would use her again; thanks Melani!”

“Manisha and her family are very welcoming, and they took excellent care of Cocco. Our pup was always excited to see them, and we appreciated the regular updates and photos, which put our minds at ease while we were away. Manisha and her kids went above and beyond, even giving personalized gifts for Cocco, which we truly appreciated. We returned home to a very happy and well-cared-for dog. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend their services to anyone in need of a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. Five stars all the way! We have already made a longer reservation with Manisha and are confident that our pup will feel right at home at their place. Thanks again! :)”

“Always a wonderful experience to work with Kimberly! Peace of mind is so important to enjoying a trip especially with a greyhound with quirks and we never have to worry when she’s here 💜”

“Katherine was great! I was really worried that my Loki would be stressed and afraid while leaving him overnight. He has only been away from me overnight, once. He looked relaxed and happy in the pictures Katherine sent me. Thanks for hooking me up with Katherine. LuAnn W”

“Our pup had a wonderful stay! Lajetta sent tons of pictures of our dog while we were away and was super responsive to texts. We will definitely try and book her again in the future!”

“Brittany was the kindest, most incredible sitter for our anxious little pup Benji. She took the best care of him and I really appreciated how much attention she gave to understanding his needs and his personality. I would highly recommend her. 5+++ stars!”

“Allison was very accommodating with our dog Yoshi who still has a lot of puppy energy. I could tell that Yoshi had a great stay, he came back home calm and very affectionate. I'll definitely reach out to Allison for dog sitting in the future.”

“This family took great care of our dog and hamster, I highly recommend. I received pictures throughout our time away and updates on how the animals were doing. I will contact them for our next vacation away from home.”

“Both Aliina and Teddy took great care of our Teddy. He really enjoyed the stay and left a happy dog. I will highly recommend them for your dog's stay. Thank you so much, Aliina and Teddy!”

“Thank you so much for taking such great care of Tommy! I know he had an awesome time and appreciate all the pictures and videos!! He sure had a smile on his face!”

“Lea is a dog whisperer. I boarded two older dogs and one of the dogs has dementia. She was able to get this dog to trust Lea and warm up to her. She was also able to put diapers on her as needed. The other dog who doesn’t have dementia warmed up to her too. I was very satisfied with the care both dogs received and am boarding dogs with Lea again in May.”

“Daniel was a knight in shining armor for our family. Our original sitter had a family emergency and we had a flight to catch. Daniel was accommodating and made my pup feel at home with lots of walks and belly rubs. Daniel and his family will definitely be our go to for pet sitting!”

“Morgan has a beautiful property - doggy heaven! She was so sweet and flexible in watching our 9 month old goldendoodle. She sent us photos and updates throughout his stay. This has been our favorite rover sitter ever and will be back again. Thank you Morgan!!!”

“Thank you so much for watching Kava!! Gage was very kind and available even for a last minute booking. He updated us with photos during our dogs stay. We will definitely book again! Thank you!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - North Plains
They were amazing! They played with Koda and Ásia so much, keeping our babies entertained, comfortable, and spoiled with cuddles. They even got Koda his favorite ball to play with while he was there. Communication was fantastic throughout. We couldn’t recommend them more!

Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
