“Paula is friendly and so knowledgeable. Her dogs were great playmates for my dog, so I got a happy, tired out pup when I came for pick up. Paula was flexible with me on drop off and pick up times due to icy roads - I really appreciated her kind demeanor and quick communication.”

“Kimberly and her family were incredible with our 2 year old golden retriever. Kimberly’s home was nice and setup great for pets. Kimberly has a big back yard that my pup loved running around in. Kimberly sent my family updates twice a day with pictures and my pup came home happy and tired. We will definitely use Kimberly again!”

About: As a dog owner and former dog fosterer, I have raised, trained, and cared for all types and ages of dogs from energetic baby puppies to older senior dogs. I also have experience working with varying temperaments and training needs. I have worked with extremely shy dogs, high-energy working breeds, and reactive dogs. I love getting to know the individual animal and their unique personality so that I can offer the best possible care. I also have experience with a variety of animals. I grew up with a number of different animals including dogs, cat, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and fish. Home full-time! I am not working at the moment (and when I do, I work from home), so I am able to devote a lot of time to providing high-quality care for your fur-kids. I am available both weekdays and weekends. All playtimes are fully supervised to ensure everyone is safe and happy. We have a large fully-fenced backyard for all your pup's crazy zoomies. We also have plenty of space to separate pups if they need a break from one another. I am home fulltime to keep an eye on everyone and attend to any specific needs. I will make sure to carefully follow the instructions for your pup. I understand that each pup has individual needs and I am happy to help keep them on their usual schedule and/or training regimen. I will care for your fur-baby as I would my own.
“Highly recommended — Reliable and attentive! Our dog Luna received excellent care, plenty of exercise, and thoughtful updates throughout the stay. Luna looked happy each and every day we were away. Thanks Melani for your excellent care!”

“I have a high anxiety senior citizen doggie. Brittany and Blaze did a fabulous job taking care of her. Luci came back without stress and seemed to really enjoy her stay. Thank you so much!”

“Chelsea was super amazing and flexible. My dogs both love her and her attentiveness. I have 1 dog that needed some accommodations and she was able to do so easily. Would totally use her again!”

“Steve is great! Thankfully, he was able to accommodate me on short notice when other plans fell through. He was flexile on drop-off and pickup time when my plans kept changing. He sent pics every day. Max had a great time staying with Steve.”

“We've sent our Goldendoodle pup to Irene about 15 times now over the past 3 months. That alone should indicate how great of a job Irene does. Our Dood absolutely loves going to her place, crying to be let out of the car when we reach her neighborhood and dragging me after I take him out of the car to her front door. Irene takes our pup out on frequent walks, has a yard out back, and hosts multiple dogs at the same time so that they have company when they are back home. She's super caring as well, even buying him a new harness when he chewed through his own. I will continue to use Irene for dogsitting multiple days per week and encourage you to do so as well.”

“Josh and Leah (and Charlotte and Max) took care of our dog Max for two weeks. They sent photos every day were easily communicative giving us updates. They took the dogs on daily long walks. Our pup came home happy and tired! We would absolutely trust them again and hope to book again with them.”

“Our dog enjoyed a lot at Saira’s place. He became friends with their kids and played a lot with woof buddy Bruce. I would definitely love to leave mowgli again in their care in future.”

“Cristina was able to take my pup on very short notice on Christmas Eve when another Rover sitter canceled our booking. I appreciated her flexibility with arrival and pickup times.”

“Heather helped us out in a pinch and we were so glad we found her. She provided updates with images or videos daily. Our Shih-Tzu / Maltese loved spending time there and meeting new doggie friends. He had so much fun he slept much of the day after we picked him up! We will definitely recommend Heather!”

“Manisha is absolutely one of a kind - she was a fabulous sitter and I will happily be going back! I got a ton of pictures and videos and my dog was one happy and joyful pup when I got back. Manisha and her daughters even sent home Cicero with a new doggie toy and a handwritten card. What a sweet and wonderful experience. Thank you, Manisha!”

“Misty and Josiah were absolutely phenomenal!! They loved on our pup like she was their own. Rubicon had huge smiles in all the pics they sent and looked so content and happy. Could not have asked for a better Rover partner!! We highly recommend Misty!!!!”

“Highly recommend! Our dog had a great time at their home. Aundrea sent frequent updates, including video and pictures which really helped us feel at ease. We could see that he was really enjoying himself with their family and staying very active, playing and going for walks.”

“Our two dogs obviously loved staying with Lorri, who took great personal care of them. She clearly loves dogs, and it shows in the way she interacted with them each day. We are grateful to her and definitely will turn to her again.”

“Can't recommend Lea and her family enough! My dog often takes several days to adjust to unfamiliar people and environments, but they are very sweet with him and he opens up to snuggles and playtime so much quicker than I've seen him do anywhere else. Lea is also super responsive and easy to work with, and has been very accommodating with my schedule for drop-offs and pick-ups. So glad we found a good fit for my buddy!”

“Ron provides the highest quality dog care possible! Our pup got an exquisite stay with Ron and Emma including playtime with other dogs, a trip to the dog park, a warm place to sleep and lots of treats. After Ron's five star service, we will never use a kennel again. We highly recommend Ron's Rover Service for all dogs and their owner's.”

Ewa was absolutely amazing with Kobe! I’ve never felt so at ease leaving him while we were on vacation. She kept me updated the whole time, which gave me so much peace of mind. Kobe had the best time at her beautiful home, especially with the huge backyard to run around and play. It was clear he was well cared for and truly happy. I couldn’t recommend Ewa enough! ❤️🐾

I usually have my dog watched by family. 1st time booking with Rover. Very last minute booking for a long weekend stay due to an unplanned event in another state. Easy to book after setting up my account with information. John & So gave me updates every day with notes & video shorts. That made it easier for me not to worry. John & So have a nice home with a fenced in yard in a good neighborhood. Miyuki was walked every day. I think she enjoyed her sleepover. My 8 year old dog is constantly alert and has an average temperment, with bouts of high energy. I would use their services again and recommend them highly.

Highly recommend! Our dog had a great time at their home. Aundrea sent frequent updates, including video and pictures which really helped us feel at ease. We could see that he was really enjoying himself with their family and staying very active, playing and going for walks.

Rochelle was awesome. Super easy to communicate with, and her place is really clean and comfortable. Her dog was super sweet and hit it off with Mr. White right away. When we picked him up, he was calm and happy; clearly had a good time. We’ll definitely book with her again.

Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
