“We are so tickled and grateful to have found Ewa, Morgan's new step mom! For fifteen years we've had limited options when having to travel without Morgan because, as we usually put it, "he's a 'get to ya know' type of dog." Meaning, he doesn't take easily to new people in his life. He's been disinvited to more than one dog kennel and honestly, it would break my heart to take him kennels that he hated every minute of and would come home hoarse from barking himself silly and emaciated from not eating well. So it was a relief when we had this big trip that we couldn't take Morgan on that Ewa was willing to give him a test ride in her home. As one day turned into two on his test rides and she was able to see the sweet dog under the scared and mean dog our relief turned into pure gratitude. We're so grateful for Ewa who was able to "get to know" Morgan and to share the joy of our pup and for a service like Rover where we could find not just a "safe place" for Morgan but a second home where he's not only fed but loved. About: I love animals and currently have one 15 lb pit terrier mix and an American short hair cat. My family is easy going on pet rules and treat animals as members of the family (no feeding from the table). About: I’m just a dog lover who enjoys taking walks a few times a week. I’ve had rescues my entire life, so I have my own personal experience with animals. I currently have a almost 4 year old, shy, rescue that we have been working on confidence building with. I work a full-time job, so I’m looking to fit in boarding on the weekends and holidays. I'm open for long term boarding as well. I live in apartment, but we take our dogs on walks to get their energy out and supplement the lack of a yard where we can. My dogs are spoiled and happy. We do also have a doggy run in our complex that we can use as well. I would be the sole caretaker for your pup.
