Brianna is so kind and caring with my pets. They are medically fragile and she always does great taking care of them and their extra needs. I can always count on her to provide excellent care. My dogs and cats adore her and I can tell she has a lot of experience by how she interacts with them. She is soo friendly and our meet and greet was breeze. I couldn’t recommend her as someone to watch your pets and your home enough. We love you Bri! <3 Waffles, Bellie Button, Ron, and Mika 😘

About: I’m a loving and responsible cat owner with two cats of my own. Caring for them has taught me how important patience, consistency, and attention to each pet’s individual personality are. I’ll treat your pets with the same care and respect I give my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time to caring for pets. I’m able to provide consistent visits, feeding, playtime, walks, and companionship while keeping each pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. I follow your care instructions carefully, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure pets are supervised and comfortable. I’ll also treat your home with respect and provide regular updates so you can feel confident while you’re away.

About: I’ve had pets since I was born. I can care for cats and dogs. I personally have a 110 lb dog, so giant dogs don’t bother me. I’ve spent two weeks house sitting for family friends before to care for there couple labs. I’m currently in college part time with online classes, I have tons of flexibility with my time. I can wake up early to walk your pets, since how hot it has been lately. I have a 110 lb Pitt-bull mastiff mix that I walk daily, and care since she is my fur baby. I understand how people will react to big dogs on walks and I have the ability to control a big dog is startled or provoked.

Patricia is a very caring and thoughtful cat sitter. My two cats were very well taken care of. One cat greeted her each day and was loving the attention given to her. My other cat is very skittish and only made an appearance a couple of times. But Patricia was very patient and just the her have her space, which is exactly what my kitty needed. We will be booking with her again.

I arrived home to happy and healthy pets, after a week away! Olivander took great care of my dog and cat. I have a nervous rescue doggie who takes some time to warm up to new people. Olivander gained his trust over the week and was able to pet him, put on his harness, and take him for walks! Thank you Olivander for your patience and kindness!

Ahnalisa is one of the best pet sitters I have ever hired. She did way more than I requested of her as far as caring for our pets, house and plants. My one cat is elderly, needs a pill twice a day, and is a picky eater. Zumbie has to have a different food every time he is fed. Ahnalisa even organized his food cans by flavor! My other cat stays in the utility room (sprays). He needs lots of play, brushing and petting. Jitters and Zumbie both were happy and healthy. They got lots of time with Ahnalisa and her son! The house was neater than when we left. She also cared for two llamas, watered our plants, got the mail and piled it neatly and took the garbage can down and back up our long driveway for garbage pickup. I would recommend Ahnalisa to anyone looking for a conscientious and caring sitter!

We have a pretty demanding routine with three cats and a Guinea pig, but Vai and Adam were more than up for it. They communicated well, sent pictures, and went above and beyond when one of our cats got sick. We would definitely recommend them because it’s clear that they care.

Our dogs sleep in a separate room, and I can crate your dogs if desired. About: I have taken care of dogs since a child, personal owned ones of all types and sizes. I have dogs throughout my childhood into teens and even had the ability of owning my own personal dog who I trained and loved! In the last four years, I have had the opportunity to re-occuringly care for the beloved fur babies of a friend. I do work full time but have time to balance pet care. I normally dog sit for a friend and stay at her place and have found balance between working at my job and still making her babies a priority. The care I give pets is the same one I give my own if not more. I make sure to treat them just as if they were my own. I like to dedicate time and patience with the animals, I know some pets have different needs and I like to make sure I keep their routines the same if not similar to normal as if their human was still doing it. Routine is important to me as well, and helps set knowing, especially for the possible anxious friends.

About: I did off leash packs hikes for a few years with up to 18 dogs, working first hand with a trainer. I have Dog daycare experience. I worked alone with up to 22 dogs with safety being the biggest priority. I am able to ready a dogs body language and act accordingly, along with redirection and distraction. Knowledge with both positive training and E collar training. I respect everyone’s choices with how they train and willing to work with it. My work schedule is not 5 days a week so I have a lot of down time I want to fill with helping dogs get out more and have some fun adventures. Or check in with some loving kitties that are in need of some attention I treat others animals and homes how I would want mine to be treated. I respect boundaries and understand homes are safe spaces and should be treated as such

Isaac is awesome! We have 3 dogs, 2 very large Cane Corsos and a pitbull mix. Our male Corso is the challenge, his trust has to be earned before he relaxes. He is actually our most loving dog, but not to strangers. He’s a guard dog no question. Issac is working with him, earning his trust and is not intimidated by him. ( thank goodness 🙏). We have FINALLY found someone! I highly recommend Isaac.

I highly recommend Emily. She took EXCELLENT care of my dog! He is blind and takes a couple daily medications and she was great with him, making sure he received his medicine and food on time. She gave him plenty of exercise, lots of play time, and most importantly, attention and love. She also sent lots of photos, which helped me feel confident that he was happy and taken care of while I was away. Emily even went above and beyond by providing extra visits when our flights home were delayed. It’s clear that Emily loves animals and wants them to have the best possible care. <3

Becky is very sweet and reliable. She was able to meet my dogs and quickly built rapport with my very shy little pup. It was only one week later and my shy baby was giving her kisses and not barking when she came to care for her. Becky sends me photos from the visit and regularly checks in. I appreciate her help with my grandma dog and the extra love and care she needs. Becky has been great and I am very thankful for her help!

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Hillsboro stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Hillsboro choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Hillsboro with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
