I'm a mom and a animal lover. You can expect kindness first before anything else with me. I exhibit good patience and tolerance. Your pets comfort and safety will be at the very forefront of every interaction. We had a terrible experience with our dog at a commercial doggy daycare for an overnight stay when she was younger. She came home exhausted, scared, and... changed. :( I want to make sure your furbabes never have to go through being left somewhere their needs are ignored or feeling abandoned, unsafe, overstimulated.... I will work hard to ensure your animal/s remain happy, healthy in my care. ♡

I understand the anxieties and stresses animals may be under and want to provide the most warm, gentle, and easy care to make stays away from family or transitions as smooth and comfortable as possible. Your animals will be treated as they were my own, and given lots of affection and attention (as desired or tolerated by them of course). With your permission, I like to bring treats and toys to help enrich your pet while in my care, and I love to take pictures to send you updates on your pet. I'm a pet momma myself, have had pets all my life. I get true joy from caring for animals, and am known by my family and friends to jump at opportunities to rescue runaways and strays in order to keep them safe and reconnect them with their families. My current furbabes include: Khaleesi: our 4 y/o 65lb staffordshire terrier, Rhodesian ridgeback mix 🐕 Ridge: our 1y/o 85lb Rottweiler Lab mix 🐶 Stevie: 7 y/o siamese, bullseye tabby mix 🐈 Shady: 12 y/o Bombay 🐈⬛️ I've cared for various temperament, activity level and sized dogs (eg. 20lb Miniture Boarder Collie to 80lb Labrador or 100+lb Rottweiler mix), cats in door and outdoor, as well as rabbits, reptiles, fish... you name it.

Emily took great care of our cats and chickens! Our cats are 18 years old and require medications twice a day. She sent notes (via Rover cards) after every visit and also sent us many photos. This gave us such peace of mind and heart. Thank you, Emily!
FANTASTIC! We were so impressed with the care Emily provided for our pets for a short house-sitting weekend. She provided us with frequent updates and went above our expectations, showing amazing care and quality of service we had not experienced. Emily is hands down the best sitter we've ever found! She is extremely communicative, sending lovely messages and beautiful photos and videos of our pup. Our dog can be nervous around new people, but with Emily it seems like they've know each other forever and bonded very quickly. She has gone above and beyond just watching our dog - walks, fetch, training on skills, all the snuggles - it is wonderful to know our dog was receiving everything she needs and more! We will absolutely be asking Emily to sit in the future and HIGHLY recommend her to anyone else!!
I highly recommend Emily. She took EXCELLENT care of my dog! He is blind and takes a couple daily medications and she was great with him, making sure he received his medicine and food on time. She gave him plenty of exercise, lots of play time, and most importantly, attention and love. She also sent lots of photos, which helped me feel confident that he was happy and taken care of while I was away. Emily even went above and beyond by providing extra visits when our flights home were delayed. It’s clear that Emily loves animals and wants them to have the best possible care. <3
