“Very appreciative of Scott accepting my last minute booking. We reached out when we realized what we thought would be a shorter day trip was turning into an entire day outing. He stopped by and walked my German Shepherd and Jack Russell terrier. Fed them, gave them some love & attention and got their water refilled. He did a great job and sent me all of the communication and photos when he was checking in walking and checking out. I recommend Scott highly to anyone who needs help with pets!”

About: I grew up in a household with lots of animals. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, chinchillas, hamsters, bearded dragons & many more! I can walk, administering medicine & give really good pets. I am currently working part time so I have the time to check in every 4 hours or so. I am happy to do what makes animal and owner happy. I am a clean, gentle person. I pick up after myself, and any messes animals make. Animals in my care will be loved as my own, and taken care of as such.

About: I've grown up in a dog house since I was little, and have always loved taking care of animals. Growing up I took care of our dogs, cat, frog, and my never ending bug farms. I've been the go to pet sitter for neighbors, friends, and family especially in high school. I've taken care of dogs both big, small, and everything in between. I also am good with dogs of all ages and am currently raising my little five month old terrier son so the puppy routine is already drilled in! I've taken care of many elderly dogs with various medical conditions, although each one is unique. If you have a dog with special needs please reach out with details and I will let you know if I'm confident I can accommodate them! I'm always happy to work with a little high energy trouble maker as I had a husky mutt growing up who gave me a real run for my money. If you need someone to take your dog on a walk/run that will knock them out if even for a little bit I'm happy to provide that relief! Additionally I also spent 6 years in a herpetology club which involved taking care of turtles, tortoises, snakes, lizards, frogs, toads, salamanders, and even hissing cockroaches. If you need someone to check in and make sure both their space (heat lamps, food, water, filters, tanks, etc.) and themselves are taken care of I would be very happy to meet some scaly friends. My schedule is fairly flexible as I do scheduled service work. Afternoon visits are when I'd be best available and I'm always happy to help on the weekends! Wether it's a play partner, someone who mysteriously brings snacks and food, or just keeping them company I'd be happy your family happy. I'm more than ready to give a high energy dog some good running in as well!

About: Hiya! I’m a newer resident of the Portland area with a longtime background of caring for pets of friends and family hoping to fill a need in you and your pet’s lives. I love going on longer walks/excursions with dogs but also love just spending time in the neighborhood. I’m currently a part time post grad student looking to do some pet care during the day on weekdays, I can do weekends but mostly I’m looking for people wanting and needing pet time during their day to day work schedules when they can’t get home. I am currently a part time hairstylist that works only a few days throughout the week. I am currently totally free Monday through Wednesday with time some Saturdays for visits. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. During drop-in visits, I make sure your pet stays on their normal routine as closely as possible — including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention. I carefully follow all care instructions and make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure before leaving your home. For walks, I use secure leashing at all times and stay alert to our surroundings to keep your dog safe. I adjust the pace and distance based on your dog’s age, energy level, and needs. I avoid unsafe areas, extreme weather conditions, and interactions with unfamiliar dogs unless instructed otherwise. I treat every home with respect and every pet like they’re my own. You’ll always receive updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. 🐾

About: I walked dogs for about a year and I had a wonderful experience! I love animals and own a cat at the moment but have owned a few dogs in the past. I grew up with dogs so I also grew up walking and talking care of them! I’m currently working a full time job but my shifts usually begin at 12:30, so I could definitely get those morning walks in! When I’m back home I take my family dogs on walks everyday! I love playing with them and getting them to run around, so sometimes I like to take them to the park!

About: I love animals and currently have one 40lb pit terrier mix. My family is easy going on pet rules and treat animals as members of the family (no feeding from the table). We live in a pet friendly community with good lighting and many dog potty break stops and stations. Our house is 2 stories with space to put a crate in a secluded place for dogs who need quiet time. On weekends I would love to take them to dog parks (if they are comfortable with that) or on hikes (if they are people friendly). My husband (Gabe) is a stay at home parent and I work 4 days a week, we will be available for your animal's needs. Plus I love to take and send photos!
