I am happy to work with all breeds of dogs. I have experience with older dogs, pets with special needs, and behavioral issues. I am able to confidently administer proper food and medication regimens, give baths, trim nails, and more! I am able to transport your dog comfortably and safely, if needed. I would love to know everything you'd like to share about your family member.
A typical day
I am very active with my personal dogs- we have destressing "sniff" walks, active training walks, trick sessions, and more. I enjoy dog sports with my dogs including trick training, rally obedience, and barn hunts! I take that experience with me and believe that dogs are happiest when their physical and mental needs are met. When I'm watching over your doggies I can do as much or as little as you're comfortable with. I will always communicate your dogs' needs with you and tailor activities accordingly. I am confident walking any size dog on leash (I have my own giant breed dog at home) and can work through leash pulling, mild to moderate reactivity, and other training challenges. I have raised multiple puppies and can assist in crate, potty, and leash training. I'm happy to get up to speed on any and all training plans you have in place for your dog and will adhere to all training requests. I know how much time you spend training your dogs and will keep routine in place as much as possible.

Hi, there! I am fully insured, first aid certified, and possess over 17+ years in dog care and handling. My experience includes professional kennel technician in high volume facilities, grooming, and formal organization sport experience including obedience, rally, field work, tracking, scent work, and more! I offer walking, drop-ins, and more in the Hillsboro/Cornelius/Forest Grove surrounding areas. I am local to Cornelius and have two sport dog/competition dogs of my own. Amber is so great with dogs! She’s helped a ton with our Great Dane pup who has had some leash reactivity issues. With the help from Amber our pup is walking consistently without pulling and generally without any issues. She’s also helped with socialization for our pup too! Amber is awesome!
There are too many wonderful things to say about Amber that it wouldn't all fit in one message. Amber is attentive, kind, understanding and patient with everyone and every animal she meets. She has many years of experience and also helps work on basic commands, leash walking, and reactivity. Amber also has great communication and meets your needs as a pet owner.
