About: As well as having my own dog growing up, I’ve taken care of my friend’s dogs and love them like my own! You won’t have to worry about leaving your furry friend with me for an abundance of walks and care. I work part time and am available to spend time with your dog anytime after 9 am Tuesday through Saturday and all day Sundays and Mondays! Perfect for taking your dog out for a mid day walk while you’re at work! 👌🏼 My highest priority when taking care of your dog is safety. Anything I can do to make your dog feel safe and happy as well as those around us on walks is what I’m all about. 🙂
“Adeline took excellent care of our 2 elder kitties while we were out of the country. We are very grateful and will definitely work with her again next time we travel.”

About: - I’ve had/taken care of dogs for almost my entire life! - I often pet-sit for family friends - I work well with many varieties of dogs: energetic, puppies, old, slower, and everything in between! - I adapt well to new environments and dogs! I love getting out, especially in the mornings or afternoons for walks and playtime with dogs! I believe getting exercise in the morning boosts the mood all day :) I am a great communicator with clients and will work to build trust and safety in every environment. I am very aware of my surroundings, what the pets are up to, and what their needs are as well
“Trula has been a blessing for Percy and I! I work long shifts so having Trula available to dropin on Percy for his bathroom breaks and some scratches/loves has been amazing and we are so grateful! I appreciate the pictures and videos Trula sends during her visits and the report cards after are very helpful and informative. Trula is great at communicating what Percy needs or what she needs to better care for him. Long story short, if you're looking for someone to care for your pet and she's available, pick Trula!!!”

“Angelique was great! So patient with my timid puppy, attentive to her needs, timely in her responses and I know my dog got lots of love while I was away. Will use her again without hesitation. Thanks Angelique!”

About: Have had pets all of my life. Everything from dogs and cats to fish and towel. Retired and have lots of time to devote to my furry friends of all ages Currently semi retired. Have lots of time to care for and play with pets. My home is single level with fenced yard for pet safety As stated my home is single level with fully fenced yard. At this time I do not have any pets in the home so available to board at least one pet consistently
“I have asked for Erich’s help watching my cat Yoko several times now, he is fantastic! Really great communication and is willing to help on short notice. Most importantly he takes great care of Yoko. Truly one of the best rover sitters I’ve ever used.”

About: I cared for dogs and cats many many times, including helping family, friends, or even friends neighbors. They have all relied on me to feed them, walk them, and overall make sure they are safe and comfortable while the owners are away. I’ve also cared for dogs with specific medical needs and specific treatment. Having dogs of my own had also taught me to train puppies. I’m currently only working a part-time morning job that goes from 7 am - 10 am. So I am available all days of the week and weekends! I have a medium sized, fenced yard that is great for playing fetch and running around in. And I have 2 super sweet dogs that will keep your dog good company!
“Hannah was a great sitter for my 2 cats while I was out of town. They both liked her right away, and she sent me many cute pictures of them looking happy and safe. Hannah was always communicative, responsible, and very pleasant to work with. I will definitely ask her to watch my cats for me again and would recommend her to others as well!”

“Brayden is a wonderful and reliable pet sitter. We have had two great training sessions together. We unfortunately have had to cancel our plans for travel, but we are confident our pets will be in excellent hands if we are needing help in the future! I recommend Brayden wholeheartedly”

About: Having grown up with both a Chihuahua and Australian Cattle Dogs, I am well-versed in dogs that need high-energy play time versus those that just need to get their zoomies out! I have taken care of senior dogs, including a miniature poodle and a long-haired Chihuahua. I am an animal lover who has to pet any dog or cat I see and have a genuine interest in caring for and loving your special furry friend 🐾 I am currently in-between jobs as I am studying for my LSAT for law school so my schedule is very flexible right now! I have a car and am able to drive so that is not a problem. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I am very aware that I am a guest in the home and act accordingly. These days, privacy is important and I pride myself on protecting that for the client in addition to caring for the pet(s). When interacting with pet(s), I like to go at their pace in their home, respecting their boundaries, and gaining their trust. I am able to handle shy pets and wait for them to warm up as well as handle the rambunctious love bugs that want to snuggle!

About: I love animals so dearly but I have none of my own :( let me care for yours as I have other animals for years! I work online remotely, and I take mostly online college classes. I have a reliable way of transportation and I’m available pretty much all the time! I can feed pets, give them minor medication, take them on walks and to dog parks. I love to play with animals and I can assure your pet to have a great time!
“Whitney is incredible! She dropped in to walk our two dogs twice a day while we were out of town. She was very thorough with her check ins and I felt great leaving them in her hands. Would highly recommend Whitney!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats growing up along with a few non traditional animals. My current pup is my world and I treat her like my child as she is one of my main priorities. I’ve always said “if you respect them they respect you”, and that is my philosophy which has never let me down. I look forward to meeting all of your furry extended family members! I currently work from home 5 days a week and am available for walks during am/pm with endless potty breaks in between. I have a dog park next to my apartment as well as a back yard which allows for your pet to get fresh air and stretch I have one small pup who loves to play and super friendly with other small/medium dogs. I like to give them space to play, let out energy and I do provide snacks if approved by owner of course. Pets will be able to roam freely unless I leave the house. I prefer if pets are crate trained and are accustom to it. Pet is allowed to relax on furniture and I allow plenty of cuddles and or space if they prefer it. Play time is also a must!
“My boys love having Everett keep them company when I have to be away for business, and they're always much less stressed when I get home than when I've had family watch them or even spend the night.”

Jill is amazingly consistent and loves on Pfeiffer like he’s her own. She makes sure to communicate any changes and is helpful with navigating app issues as well. Never leaves us hanging. She’s been coming to walk pfieffer for over 4 months and is a valued part of our family. :) Would truly recommend her without any reservations!

Katie was absolutely wonderful! She stepped in for last-minute drop-in visits during the holidays, and I couldn’t be more grateful. She took great care of my two dogs, Finn and Forest, and gave me total peace of mind while I was away. Communication was excellent, and it was clear she genuinely cared about them. I highly recommend Katie to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and flexible dog sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Sherwood with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
