Alexis and Jacob are both available Monday through Saturday for care, with Sundays reserved for personal time. We prioritize consistency and clear communication so you always know what to expect. We especially love recurring walks and drop-in schedules, but we're happy to help with one-off requests whenever we have availability.

Before accepting any booking, we require a meet and greet to make sure we're the right fit — for you, your pet, and us. To make sure we're fully prepared going in, we kindly ask that your pet's profile is complete with a clear photo before we meet. The more we know upfront, the better we can care for them. Helpful details include their daily routine and feeding schedule, energy level and exercise needs, any medications or health considerations, comfort with new environments, and anything that helps them feel safe and secure.
A typical day
Every pet's day is built around them. Active pets get structured walks, enrichment, and supervised play. More relaxed pets enjoy calm companionship and one-on-one attention. We balance activity with downtime so every pet feels settled, comfortable, and right at home.

Hi! We're Alexis & Jacob: an adventurous couple in King City with a lifelong love for animals. Alexis raised a dog of her own, and Jacob grew up with three cats who were very much family. That love is what brought us here, and it's what drives us every single day. We own and operate King City Pet Care, our own local pet care business, full time, together. Reliable, dependable care is what we're built around — we love forming recurring relationships with pets and their families, but we're always happy to help when a one-time need comes up too. Whether that's a neighborhood walk, a drop-in at home, or house sitting at your place while you're away, we're there for your pet Monday through Saturday. Visits may be with Alexis, Jacob, or both of us depending on your pet's needs and our availability. Alexis is your primary point of contact, but your pet will know and love us both. We're experienced with puppies, seniors, high-energy breeds, and pets requiring medication. We're actively growing and accepting new clients for dog walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. For any requests of 3 or more days, we require a trial booking, charged at that service's normal rate, so we can make sure your pet settles comfortably and we're the best fit for their needs. We tend to fill up quickly so feel free to reach out early. We'd love to meet you and your pets! 🐾
