Reactive? High energy? Anxious? I've got you covered! My dog Noodle, my best friend, was an amazing, high energy cattle dog. My little guy Scout was extremely reactive when he came into my life five years ago. Now, he's only slightly reactive. Then there's sweet, anxious Korra. Sometimes she gets so scared on our walks that I have to carry her for a bit. I love the world of cats and dogs, and I especially love working with rescues. If they're shy or anxious, I wait for them to approach me. Even the most apprehensive ones will eventually come out of hiding to make my acquaintance, and we always form the best of friendships. When I take a dog on a walk, it's all about the dog. My role is to steer them clear of triggers and make sure they don't do anything unsafe. They get to choose the route and where to sniff when at all possible. I'm here to give your furry family member companionship, care, and love while you're gone.

When I care for your pet in your home, I stick to the routine you have for them, and I am happy to clean up animal waste as well. I will feed, brush, cuddle, and play with your furry family member. When I take your dog on a walk, I let them walk, run, and sniff at their own pace. I am skilled in keeping an eye on the environment around me and steering them clear of any dogs or situations that might be stressful for them. I love rainy walks, so if that is something your dog enjoys, we will have the time of our lives! I prefer to use a body harness when walking your dog.

Joy took detailed notes and carefully followed all of our instructions, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. What really stood out was how thoughtfully she kept us updated—her messages were descriptive and reassuring, and she sent us loads of adorable pictures and videos so we could see how everything was going. It truly felt like we were getting little glimpses of our pet’s day while we were gone. Joy went above and beyond like vacumming litter box areas, cleaning hairball mess etc., and it was clear that she genuinely cared about our pet’s comfort and happiness. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely caring!
Our cat was so excited to see Joy again! I know my cat and my home are in great hands whenever I’m away. I really appreciate how she goes above and beyond with her reports, including lots of photos, videos, and detailed visit descriptions. Joy is wonderful to work with, and most importantly, my cat absolutely loves her!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule morning, afternoon, and evening. I am available for drop in visits and dog walks, runs, and sniffaris. I am also available for last minute, emergency visits.
