In My Home: Your dog will be treated like part of the family during their stay. I have a small fenced yard for potty breaks and outdoor time, and Hazeldale Park is just a short walk away for additional exercise and enrichment. Dogs are welcome on furniture unless you prefer otherwise, and I’ll follow your pet’s usual routines, rules, and training expectations to help them feel comfortable. In Your Home & On Walks: Walks are tailored to your dog’s age, energy level, and individual needs. Whether we’re exploring your neighborhood, staying at home, or enjoying a relaxed sniffari, I’ll provide safe exercise, mental enrichment, and plenty of positive attention. I have a large dog stroller and use positive reinforcement techniques on walks. We will go over anlso review any training cues, commands, or routines you have established to help maintain consistency and good habits.

About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

My usual dog sitter quit on me less than 24 hours before I needed to drop Jordan off for doggy daycare since I was working 10+ hour shifts and Melani SAVED the day. She was so patient with him and attentive. She made him feel at home and he warmed up to her so well! She also sent a TON of pictures which I appreciated as an anxiety filled dog mom. 10/10 will recommend and will absolutely go back to when needed.
Jacq always has an amazing time with Hiroe. He’s always so excited to go over and play with lumi and mokichi. We have been using their daycare and boarding for the last nine months, and I’ve had a great experience. Hiroe is communicative, flexible, and send pictures and videos for updates nearly every visit. Mitchell and Queso are the absolute best! Mitchell is easy to communicate with, flexible, and pays attention to our dog's quirks. During our first meet n greet, Mitchell showed us around, answered our questions, asked great questions, and made us feel really comfortable leaving our dog, Jet, with him. Jet and Queso get along great - the snooze together, play together, and respect each other's boundaries. Jet is always excited to go to daycare 2x per week, and never seems ready to leave. We appreciate the long walks Mitchell takes the dogs on and how he treats Jet like his own! We drive a bit out of our way for Mitchell because his services are that great.
