About: Hi there! I've been taking care of animals since I was young. Growing up on a farm gave me all the experience with all sorts of different animals. Here in the Portland metro area I take care of mostly dogs and cats, and the occasional chicken or two! Your furry, or feathery, friends will be treated with gentle care and compassion as all creatures need! I currently only work as a sitter so your friends and pet family will have my undivided attention and care. I am available every day each week and especially on holidays! For dogs that will be staying either daycare or overnight, there is a large doggie area at the back of my complex. There is also a long walking trail down the hill that I take dogs on that need some more exercise!

Their pickup add-on is really wonderful, and Clara gets so excited when she realizes it's time to go have fun with Baz and Ruby! Every daycare dog she's met with them has been an immediate friend--not always what you expect with a chihuahua away from mom and home--and that speaks to how thoughtfully Susan and Ian manage the group. About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

Our pup Is high maintenance and nervous, but Youjung did a fantastic job taking care of him. You can tell she really loves dogs and wants to make sure that they are happy! Our pup got lots of walks and attention. We will definitely book with her in the future!
We needed someone last minute to take care of Hermes since our regular sitter was not available. We went with Joe after reading the reviews on Rover. It turned out to be a great choice!
