“Anupama took such great care of our dog Mimi! She sent photo updates, communicated well throughout the whole stay, and asked us thoughtful questions about Mimi to help provide the best care for her. Thank you Anu!”

“Poppy received excellent care! She got plenty of attention and exercise and came home thoroughly relaxed and tired. A huge difference from other daycare experiences we’ve had where she comes home anxious and stressed.”

“Evelynne did a wonderful job watching our dog. He liked playing with her dog and she sent lots of progress pictures. He came back happy and we would certainly leave him with her again!”

“I felt so comfortable leaving my older little pup in Stephanie’s care. She truly loves pups, and takes extra care to create a safe and comfortable environment for the dogs. Thankful!”

“Aliina is amazing! Her dog Teddy and Blue play so well together. He loves the chance to run around in her spacious back yard, and play tug with Teddy. Aliina is a great fit for us and we look forward to many more playdates!”

About: I currently spend a lot of time at home, so your pet will not be left alone for long periods. My home is safe, quiet, and has a spacious yard where pets can play and relax. I am gentle, responsible, and will treat your pet like my own. I can provide feeding, playtime, and companionship, and I will make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you are away. I and my family have a wonderful relationship with dogs. I spend most of my time at home, so I have a very flexible schedule for pet care. Your pet will have plenty of attention and will not be left alone for long periods. I am available on both weekdays and weekends, and I can adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs, including feeding, walks, and playtime. I have a lovely yard and home alone with no kid or other pet, I only take only one pet at a time to make sure he/she gets enough care and attention.
“My dog is big and high energy, and he gets extra excited with new people and places to play. He’s basically a giant toddler with a big heart, but not everyone can handle him. Mark was AMAZING, got him tons of exercise and made him feel comfortable and happy. He was easy to connect with and so thoughtful about what my pet needed. I’m so glad we found him and will for sure book with him again!”

“I can’t say enough positive things about this rover experience. First of all Michael + Cheryl helped me with my dog Ducky with very short notice which was such a huge help. They were communicative and kind and have a lovely property where I know ducky was very content. They sent me pictures and updates while he was there and I felt totally at ease. Given the fact that I was traveling and needed to find care for Ducky in an unfamiliar city, I couldn’t have found a better fit. Thank you!!”

“We just started daycare services with Sera, and she has been great! She’s very friendly, and sends us pictures letting us know Hoku is doing well. We, along with Hoku, look forward to continuing daycare with Sera and Panda!”
“Bangyun was amazing with my pup. Bella her dog is very friendly and had lots of play time and walk together during the stay. You know your baby has been having fun when they can’t wait to go into her house in the morning, jumping out of the car and rushing into the front door! Will re book when needed again definitely! Thank you so much !!! :)”

About: I have taken care of, and been around dogs, pretty much my whole life. As an adult I have experience with leash/dog reactive dogs, super high energy puppies, done overnights for dogs with separation anxiety. I also have experience training my own dogs and really enjoy it. I am stay at home mom with both my kids in school so I have free time especially in the mornings after school drop off. I am very careful with other people's property. There should be no signs that I've in your home except for well loved, exercised and happy pets.
“I appreciate Alison taking my pup on such short notice. My little guy has never been away from home before so we were both nervous.. but Alison did awesome at making us both feel safe and secure ij her care. Sending me beautiful photos and updates of my pup throughout the day was much appreciated 🥰 thanks Alison”

“I’m reluctant to even leave this review because Vanessa is so excellent that I don’t want her to be stolen from me:) She has been very accommodating and has made being a puppy parent so much easier. I will continue to use her for my doggy daycare needs. Highly recommended.”

“Angela was very flexible with my odd schedule and very communicative! She was my first sitter using Rover and I felt very assured that he was going to be well taken care of! She sent a bunch of adorable photos and updated me on my dog's stay. My dog came back very happy and tired from all the playing! I highly recommend her!”

“Another wonderful visit at Dawn's house. She has so much fun with Dawn's daughter and their two dogs. It's a mini vacation for Maggie when she is with them. Couldn't find a better place for her when we are away.”

“I needed day care services for the last 3 weeks. Susan & Ian were amazing! I requested dog pickup and drop off. I work 12 hrs a day and when I got home I came home to a tired and happy dog. It was like Christmas. I got pictures and video updates thought the day and report card at end of day. Kuka, my dog, loves their Rudy. They became buddies. I cant recommend them high enough!! Kuka went to doggie day care in the past and it always stressed her out. We tired 4 different places. She is super duper happy with Susan and family.”

About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.
About: I'm happy to provide personalized and punctual care for all of our furry friends. I have lots of experience with pets of all shapes and sizes from the biggest goofballs to the smallest snugglers. I have a fairly flexible schedule that revolves around my kids school and extracurricular activities. I'm available most days throughout the day to take your pets out on adventures. I have a large fenced-in yard with lots of exploring available. I can also crate your dog if that is what is required. We also have a plethora of sticks to play with.
About: When I was living in Venezuela, my first pet was a turtle, but due to family issues, we donated to a petting zoo. Then I was on a field trip on a farm and one of the ladies gave me a bunny so I took care of it for a while, since I was still young and my family didn't know back then how to properly raise a bunny we end up giving it to a friend of them. A few years later we got a boxer, and we were pretty in love with her, she was so beautiful and used to protect me from everything, sadly the place we moved pets wasn't allowed and that was the only place we could find so we gave her away. 2 years later the pet policy change so we adopted another dog, which was a male cocker spaniel, didn't last long since my sister got diagnosed with severe asthma, so we gave it away to the vet that used to check him regularly. Back in 2020, I raised 3 Pekins male ducks. there were so playful, lovely, and intelligent, but the neighbor that we had before and never got a problem with moved, and 2 old men moved instead so the noise was annoying them, so we donated to another petting zoo, and one of the workers gave me an update of them every week. Now, in 2022 we adopted 2 male guinea pigs whom I love and adore. So pretty much almost all my life I being surrounded by animals. Even when I moved to the United States, my friend's dog went barking at my door to say goodbye, even though my friend wasn't at my house and it was late so he spend the night at my house, and texted friend her dog was with me. So I'm attending PCC in the fall so this will be my school schedule Monday & Wednesday from 8:30 am to 4:50 pm Tuesday from 10 am to 11:50 am Friday from 9 am to 2:50 pm Thursday and the weekends I'm completely free, so depending on the routine you have for your pet I will look into it and fit it with my schedule. So for my guinea pigs, I give them food at 6 am, since due to school they good used to wake up around that time, at 8 I clean them and give them new hay, then make sure to put everything where it was. At 1-2ish I give them their lunch which is their veggies, I clean again, and at 4-5ish I let them run around the living room, but that depends if we're busy or can't watch them, in that case, I let them be free at night, so they have the space for themselves and there are no chances of someone stepping on them, I try to spend and play with them at night or sometimes in their cage and teach them some tricks. Again, I know everyone has their own routine according at the type of pet and required care or even a regular routine, so I will stick or try to stick with it in order to fulfill the pet's happiness and owner as well.

It was the 1st time that I used Bangyun as a sitter for my dog Ginger.I was very happy with the experience and Ginger came home happy and active.Bangyun took Ginger for frequent walks and Ginger seemed to enjoy that Thank you Bangyun.I recommend Bangyun for anyone wanting to sit their dog
Our pup Is high maintenance and nervous, but Youjung did a fantastic job taking care of him. You can tell she really loves dogs and wants to make sure that they are happy! Our pup got lots of walks and attention. We will definitely book with her in the future!

We needed someone last minute to take care of Hermes since our regular sitter was not available. We went with Joe after reading the reviews on Rover. It turned out to be a great choice! We got regular updates with pictures. Hermes got multiple walks in the neighborhood during the day. When we went to pick him up, he wanted to go back with Joe 🙂 Joe is very friendly and flexible as well.

Heather and her family took a great care of my little energy ball Lulu. She is the angel in human form that God sent to earth to help all these furry babies. I am so glad that I found such a great care option for my dog. Lulu was so happy to RUN towards the front door and GET IN to her house every morning which tells everything about the love she got at her care. Highly recommend!

Mitchell and Queso are the absolute best! Mitchell is easy to communicate with, flexible, and pays attention to our dog's quirks. During our first meet n greet, Mitchell showed us around, answered our questions, asked great questions, and made us feel really comfortable leaving our dog, Jet, with him. Jet and Queso get along great - the snooze together, play together, and respect each other's boundaries. Jet is always excited to go to daycare 2x per week, and never seems ready to leave. We appreciate the long walks Mitchell takes the dogs on and how he treats Jet like his own! We drive a bit out of our way for Mitchell because his services are that great.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
