Hello friends! I strive to ensure your furry family will receive the same love, care, and attention that I give my own! Growing up with multiple large dogs, multiple cats, and other small pets, I have always enjoyed the company of any four-legged friends. I will put all of my personal and professional knowledge and flexibility into the care of your loved one! Learning how to cater the to the care of dozens of pets (including rabbits, reptiles, tortoises, turtles, and ferrets!) over the last four years here on Rover have been an amazing experience and I look forward to learning and adapting to the quirks of your furry family. I have one dog (Fox Terrier/Jack Russel Terrier mix) and one calico cat of my own that are my fur-babies and whole world so I understand the stress of finding someone trustworthy enough to care for your loved ones. I rescued my two as a young pup and kitten thirteen years ago. I also rescued a blind senior dog until his time came, so I am patient and understanding of our friends with special needs.

Dog Walks I prefer to take your pup on their familiar walking routes so they feel safe and secure with an unfamiliar person walking them. If your pup is reactive, I am comfortable handling them, but knowing their triggers is extremely helpful in order to effectively maneuver any situation. Drop-In Visits Whatever is needed for your pet/home, I will do. Food, water, play, loves, chin rubs, short walk or more! Plants needing watered? Need the mail checked? I can do that! Something else? Absolutely! I do everythinh with the utmost care to ensure that you never knew I was even in your home. "Leave no trace!" Medications I have experience administering medications to dogs and cats. I can tackle pills and liquid medication for picky or resistant dogs and cats. If there is a method that works to get them to take the meds easily, please let me know, no matter how kooky it may seem! If the timing of medication is critical, I need to know this so that I can keep them on track and plan the rest of my day around that to ensure timeliness. On my own cat, I regularly administer ear drops, which she despises, and have adapted to securing her for both of our safety.

Ashley is amazing! We just moved to this area and we were looking for someone to take care of our cat when we travel, we found Ashley on Rover. Our cat is aloof and shy, reading Ashley’s Rover profile and positive reviews online made me think she’s a good fit to our cat and I was right. We had few sitters in the past but our cat never warmed up to anyone, with Ashley he became comfortable immediately and in the end of the 13-day service the two of them became buddies - what a feat! She showered our cat with lots of patience and love. The daily updates and tons of pictures Ashley sent to us when we were traveling showed how comfortable our cat is with her, that gave us peace of mind and enjoyed our trip more.
Ashley has been dropping in to take care of my kitties for years! She always does a fantastic job and sends the best pictures! Very reliable and easy to work with!

Schedule
Schedule I currently work weekdays 8a-5p and am 100% free on the weekends. Drop-in visits and walks will occur outside of these hours. I am flexible to late-night visits if it suits your pet's needs! Visits in the morning will be between 6:00 - 7:30 AM since I commute to the Eastside for my day job. Afternoon or evening visits can be arranged anytime between 5:30 and 10:00 PM. I am available anytime for communication. During my working hours, sometimes it may be delayed, but I do what I can to be prompt in my replies.

- Please let me know how I can keep your pet's routine as close to normal as possible while you are away. Feeding and playtime schedules are important to keep your pet as happy as possible until your return. It is close to my heart for me to keep your pet happy and comfortable, so if there is a feeding or playtime ritual or even a favorite toy, I would like to keep the ritual for them (no matter how strange a request it might seem, I promise I've probably indulged stranger ones!). Please tell me everything about your furry family member so that I can provide the best care possible! I would like to know about his/her temperament, favorite activities/toys, dislikes, and any behavioral rules that should be followed. What are the food and treat allowances/tolerance? Does your cat need the litter box scooped twice per day or every three days?
