“This was our first time using Rover and Mary Anne specifically and we will definitely continue to use the service! Mary Anne was great! I wasn’t worried or stressed at all and Finley was definitely loved and taken care of during the visit. I was sent updates and photos throughout (she takes really good pictures of animals), which was also awesome! Thank you so much Mary Anne! We will see you again soon!”
“Danielle is a dog whisperer!! Our little guy, Pharrell usually takes a while to warm up to new people and within 10 minutes he was licking Danielle’s face and just loved her. Sent us lots of updates & photos, which we loved seeing while out of town! Thank you Danielle!!”

“Andi did an amazing job with our very shy cat (who had bolted at the planned meet&greet)- charming him down from his hiding places and getting him comfortable - purrs and cuddles all around. Thank you! we'll certainly look for you next time we have to travel. And she's a much better cat photographer than we are.”

“Kelsey did an amazing job with my dog! I was out of town for 5 days and needed a sitter to come let my dog Belle out a couple times each day. Kelsey stayed in great communication throughout the whole time and Belle LOVED her! Kelsey did everything that was needed plus she even tidied up each visit! I will definitely be using Kelsey again the next time I need a sitter!”

“J Does a great job with my pup and yesterday was super helpful because she drilled him on his commands and helped get some kongs prepped. J is reliable and communicates well.”

About: Hi, my name is Natasha and I look forward to caring for your beloved pet! I grew up with cats and love every dog I meet. While I don't own a dog, my friends' dogs love me and I regularly walk my neighbor's dog. He get so excited when he sees me heading up the driveway! I enjoy long walks with dogs, and playing with and snuggling dogs and cats alike. I am home most days and would love to have your furry friend with me! We will get outside time in (according to your preference) as well as snuggle and play time. I have access to a large fenced area to exercise dogs and a clean, welcoming home for all manner of pets. I love to take dogs for long walks and can ensure they return to you with wagging tails and wanting to come back to see me again.

Extremely responsible, you can depend on me to be on time with your doggy schedule and needs. I'm comfortable with walks, feeding, check-ins! Communicative, just lemme know! I come with a flexible schedule as Im working part-time right now :) Most weekdays I am free for your needs! Weekends mostly late afternoons or nights. Please message me beforehand. If you have special instructions for how you like your animal to be treated, I'll always adhere to your preferences. Transparency is major for me, you'll always be the first to be consulted if necessary.

About: I have helped train and take care of many dogs old dogs that have been on hospice and dogs that are a couple months old. I help with Guide Dogs for the Blind and help train guide dog puppies before they are one. We have a Guide Dog puppy in our care right now so I wake up feed him, potty him and leave for school. Come home potty him sometimes take time to train and walk him and play. I snuggle with my cat and he falls asleep right away in my lap after doing his biscuits. When ever our dogs are in the yard I even though we have a fence make sure they are safe and have gone to the bathroom. Talking and playing with the dogs to make sure they know I am a safe person. Same with cats they can be timid so not rushing to pet or be to close to their safe space. Let them tell me what they need/want.
“Emma was amazing! Our cats clearly loved her and she was so great with communicating with us. We felt completely at ease with leaving our cats at home. Would 100% recommend Emma!”

“Amazing cat sitter! Had to book with her again as she did such a good job taking care of my two cats. Loved her timely drop-ins and pictures/updates I got while I was away. Highly recommend!”
“This was our first time hiring a pet sitter, let alone using Rover. We had considered hiring two other sitters previously, but decided against it because of poor communication or no shows. We found Brittaney and it was immediately a breath of fresh air. 🙏 She responded quickly, we were able to book with her last minute, she communicated in friendly, caring, and professional manner. While we were away, she sent us all kinds of pictures, spent time really trying to bond with our cats, and truly made us feel like they were in great hands. Not only is Brittaney excellent at what she does, but you can truly tell she has a passion for loving animals. I’d very much hire Brittaney again, and plan on it when the need arises. 🙏🙏”

About: Hey, I'm Maia and I've been taking care of pets since the age of ten, I love all animals and personally have 3 cats but have also previously had two dachshunds. Throughout the years I've taken care of a multitude of animals from large golden retrievers to small rodents. I'm especially good with shy animals and I'm ready to take all the time it needs for your pet to trust me. No matter the size, age or personality I'm exited to get to know your furry friend and give them to the care they need! I'm currently a student out of state and am available during all brakes. During the summer and all major holidays I'm ready to give your pet my full and undivided attention. I love the outdoors and spend a majority of my time out of school hiking and taking runs thought the neighborhood and nearby nature. I love having company wether that be a friend or a furry pal. My three cats are fully indoors and get most of their energy out by playing with one another or running around the house with me. My yard is fully fenced in and I live in a very walkable neighborhood great for dogs. While I am well experienced with both cats and dogs I love to hear all your personal tips and tricks for your furry friend as you know them best!

Emma was so fantastic! She took such good care of our kitties while we were away. She took great photos and gave us very detailed updates, it was really helpful. She was also very accommodating with our schedule and was really great about any changes we needed to make. I would recommend her to anyone 1000000/5 stars!

Rachel was a life saver for me! She was available last minute when I needed a cat sitter for the weekend. She was super efficient and effective in communication and prep for the weekend. She was great with the kitties and their care, and I appreciated her updates. Will definitely hire again!

Casey is easily the best pet sitter we have ever had. She is communicative, caring, and attentive. Our cat’s health declined while we were out of town and she gave us detailed updates and went above and beyond to keep us informed and him comfortable. We can’t recommend her enough.

Alyssa is the best! She’s got both heart and science in giving my boy the best care. I’m always amazed at how much care she can fit into a half hour visit, especially since my senior kitty has special needs. I was really nervous signing up for this new service, and she held my hand through the whole process and answered all of my questions expertly. We have now been working together for a year! I feel 100% confident when I need to leave town that my kitty is in the best hands!

Christina is simply wonderful in every way. Beyond having an obvious heart for animals, she is honest, trustworthy and kind. She cared for my kitties on short notice while I was out of town and I had complete peace of mind, never thought once about their care, and I am always a little nervous about leaving my 21 year-old cutie (and my shy guy really warmed up to her immediately). If you’re looking for excellent pet care, you don’t need to look any further. I promise you will have peace of mind entrusting your babies with Christina!

Teaghan did a great job making friends with my very shy cat. After a couple of days I could see that they were good buddies and that my cat Honey was having lots of fun with Teaghan. I felt 100% comfortable having Teaghan in my home. She is obviously very responsible and a good communicator.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
