“We had such an amazing first Rover experience with Britney and truly could not have asked for a better person to care for our two female German Shepherds. From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative, which immediately helped ease a lot of the anxiety that comes with leaving your dogs with someone new. She kept us updated daily with pictures and videos of our girls playing, being goofy, relaxing, and genuinely looking comfortable and happy in her home. One of the biggest things we appreciated was her experience with German Shepherds. About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

Emma and Ron were able to loosen up Tanuki after an evening, and Tanuki really appreciated being able to lounge on furniture and beds. Being worried parents, we were comforted by Ron’s regular updates on our boy. We’re all very happy to have Ron to send Tanuki to for short trips!”

“We couldn't be happier with Andy's care for our two dogs during our time away! Our elderly pomeranian, who has limited mobility and decreased vision, requires extra attention and patience, and Andy provided just that. She was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous in making sure our senior pup was comfortable and happy, even going the extra mile when he wasn't eating very well. She worked with him to ensure he got the nutrition he needed, which really eased our minds. Our 1-year-old puppy also had a blast with Andrea, and we could see from the daily updates and photos she sent that both dogs were well-loved and cared for. “We had such an amazing first Rover experience with Britney and truly could not have asked for a better person to care for our two female German Shepherds. From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative, which immediately helped ease a lot of the anxiety that comes with leaving your dogs with someone new. She kept us updated daily with pictures and videos of our girls playing, being goofy, relaxing, and genuinely looking comfortable and happy in her home. Those updates meant so much to us and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Britney was also very upfront and honest with any questions or observations regarding the dogs and was always open to suggestions that could help them settle in more comfortably. One of the biggest things we appreciated was her experience with German Shepherds. You can absolutely tell she understands the breed and their personalities, energy levels, and needs since she previously owned one herself. She had toys available, a great environment for them, and also boarded only our girls without other dogs during their stay, which made us feel even more comfortable and helped reduce stress for them. She also gave us thoughtful feedback, training tips, and helpful suggestions that we genuinely appreciated as first-time Rover users and German Shepherd owners still learning along the way. It never felt judgmental, just supportive and caring. Overall, Britney went above and beyond for our girls, and we are so grateful for the care, patience, and attention she gave them. “It was my first time leaving Napoleon with Cassie as I usually leave him with friends that couldn’t look over him this time. He had a great time running around with her dogs that I think he lost a couple of pounds from how much exercise he got; not that he needed it, but definitely a sign of how much fun he had. As an extra benefit, he even returned to eating regularly, like he haven’t in months after his stay with Cassie. Even my dog is a good boy, as a big male, he had his issues but Cassie followed my instructions when introducing him to new dogs and everything went great”
