About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I have 2 years of experience taking care of dogs! I am very patient with every pet who are still learning, and I am strictly committed to following every owner's specific feeding and medication routines. Im currently working as a cashier at Fred Meyer so communication it’s vital! I can work mostly on weekdays if you need but we can talk about weekends! I love to walk so we could be hours on it! About: Due to issues with marking, I will only sit female dogs. I have two small rescue dogs of my own - both are under 15 pounds and gentle and playful with one another. I'll pamper your dog just as I do my own with plenty of cuddles, a calm environment and a fenced yard for potty breaks. I have extensive experience with dogs on med schedules and special dietary needs. When not out to potty - your dog will be with me - indoors. I am Sixty Seven years of age and a responsible homeowner. There are no children living in or visiting my home. Having your pet in my home is a privilege and I will always provide the optimum care for your pet. Please come visit me! Plenty of love and attention will be given to your pet. Walks, playtime & fetch. Unless provided a crate, your dog will sleep with me and my two small dogs, unless owner requests they be crated, or the breed or age of pet makes sleeping on a bed inadvisable. Effective 7/27/21: Any medical needs, special diet or requirements, a written list of that/those condition(s) is required. DROP OFF: BEFORE 9am PICKUP: 8:30pm-10:00pm. During that time, absolutely no chemicals have been used. I do NOT ever leave dogs outside longer than 10 minutes. I feed the dogs at 7am and 6pm. Dogs will sleep on my bed unless owner provides a crate and prefers to crate their dog at night. I do NOT crate dogs during the day or while not at home. Dogs are allowed on all furniture.

About: I’ve cared for and have been surrounded by animals my whole life. I walk dogs on Rover and Wag and have walked a variety of different sizes, energies, and abilities. I’m also an experienced dog sitter, notably one elderly dog with various health issues. I’m a university student home for the summer and loves animals. She also wrote a lovely note and created a water color of my Quinn. (not AI, she actually painted it) I highly recommend Wendi! “I relo’d here almost a year ago and my biggest anxiety was finding a trusted person to check on my fur baby. He was used to me being home since he was a baby and I was returning to work. I had someone else the first few months but she had to cancel. So when I found Anna it was such a smooth transition, Brodie took a liking to her and I always looked forward to reading the detailed Rover card and pics.
