“Cypress was very punctual and diligent, attentive to all information I have about my dog and carefully followed all instructions. I will definitely book again in future with Cypress”

“Alison and Tom were fantastic with our three pomeranians! They first did a meet and greet to make sure they could learn everything they needed to know about their care and personalities. We really appreciated that extra step. They visited the boys exactly when they said they would and sent us pictures while were gone along with updates. I'm so glad we found them and will definitely enlist their services again.”

“Michelline took such good care of my girl (last minute) while I was having a busy work weekend. She walked her and gave her the cup of food I left and even brought my delivery box inside.”

“Emma took great care of our dog on her drop in visit/walk! Our dog Hoku loves her and was so happy to see her. I trust Emma with my pets and it puts my mind at ease knowing they will be in great hands when we are away from home! She is so dependable, I will definitely continue to rebook her!”

“Ann is the best! Very reliable, showing up on time and communicating with us. But most of all, she shoes great care for our pup. She adjusts the walls according to the weather, making sure our pup is safe from the heat but also having fun.”

About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). I have three full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. When I'm not in clinic I can be flexible with my schedule to take your fur baby on walks, check in on them to let them out, or schedule an adventure! I respect my client’s rules, preferences, and boundaries regarding their pets. I will avoid places they’re not supposed to go, keep them on leash at all times, socially distance them if requested, and never give them treats or food unless given owner permission.
“Andi is SO GREAT. She walked Ellie again several times this week and it’s been a breeze. She is really knowledgeable about dog psychology and different breeds, has a calm assertive energy and a common sense approach which I appreciate so much. I’ll be booking her services again and would definitely recommend her to others. Andi is just a very pleasant person and I’m so happy we found her! Thank you Andi!!”
“Lucinda is incredible with our boy! We can tell in all the pictures she takes that he has such a great time with her. She communicates so well. We always look forward to her reviews of how the day went with Cruz - she keeps it creative and always writes something fun and descriptive. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Elizabeth took her time introducing herself to my dog who was a little nervous at first but she won her over in minutes and off they happily went on their walk. My pup came back happy and sufficiently tuckered out. :) Elizabeth gave lots of details about how the walk went and did great with dog handling. I’ll definitely call on her again!”

“a life savior!!! she helped me out when my other dog walker bailed very last minute! she was very responsive and saved me from calling out from work!! thank you thank you so so much!”

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs from ages 4 months to 12 years! I like to learn each animals needs and modify my care for them! I work three days a week and keep an open schedule to care for others’ animals the other four days in the week! I have a flexible schedule and can even help on the days I am scheduled at my main job! I always ask for your preferences for your animals! Whether this includes walk length, treats and food, and even mannerisms, I always want to make sure YOU and your animals are comfortable!
“So patient and kind with my dogs! My dogs are such mommas boys they have separation issues but Ryan won them over quickly! You can tell he likes what he does! 100% recommend!”

About: Hi, I’m Andrea! I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and I’ll care for yours like they’re part of my own little crew. I’m a wedding and family photographer, and I share my home with a sweet corgi named Frankie and a cat named Becky. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work from home, so your dog will enjoy plenty of neighborhood walks, lots of cuddle time during the day, and fun play sessions in the backyard! I’m big on keeping their normal routines so they feel comfortable while their people are away..whether that means walks, playtime, cuddles, meals on schedule, or just hanging out together. I’m pretty attentive to their little personalities and quirks and want them to feel safe, happy, and loved.
About: Small Groups, Big Attention: Personalized Walks for Your Dog With over 20 years of dog care experience, I bring a real understanding of dogs to each walk. What makes my walks different: 🐾 Max 2 dogs at a time. Your dog gets genuine attention, not a spot in a pack. I notice their mood, energy, and cues, every walk. 🐾 Paced to your dog, not the clock. Some days call for a slow sniff walk—letting them read every scent on the block. Other days they need to burn energy with a brisker pace. I adjust in the moment based on what your dog actually needs, not a one-size-fits-all route. 🐾 20+ years of hands-on experience. I've cared for dogs of multiple ages, breed, and temperament—from anxious rescues to high-energy puppies to easygoing seniors. That experience means I can read a dog quickly and respond calmly to whatever comes up. What you can expect: Photo/video updates from the walk GPS-tracked routes Consistent, reliable scheduling A walker who treats your dog like an individual, not a job on a list If you want a walker who slows down when your dog needs to sniff and speeds up when they need to run, let's talk about your pup. I run my business from home. My schedule is flexible. Your pup will get walks and a loving companion. Dogs are my true love and I absolutely adore spending time with them. I have a large fenced yard as well as a dedicated indoor area for pups. Your pup will be able to sit on the sofa with us and snuggle. My pup Bernie loves making friends. They will keep busy

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Raleigh Hills
Erica is so amazing! Our little puppy was nervous the first few days, and Erica just sat and played with her until she was ready to go for a walk. I am continually impressed by Erica's intuition and how she goes above and beyond for our dog. You can really tell she cares!

Kerensa is awesome with pets and people. She gained the trust of my very anxious untrusting pitt mix so much that he was excited for her to come for his walks! She's very intuitive and makes sure your pups are safe and happy and adjusts as needed to make this so. I always know my bestie is in good hands, safe and happy with Kerensa when I have to be away.
Emma took great care of our dog on her drop in visit/walk! Our dog Hoku loves her and was so happy to see her. I trust Emma with my pets and it puts my mind at ease knowing they will be in great hands when we are away from home! She is so dependable, I will definitely continue to rebook her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
