“Katie was very responsive and did a great job communicating with us during our dog, Lucy’s, stay at her home. It was so good to get pictures of Lucy each day. Katie’s yard is a dog haven - big fenced yard with so much room to run and roam around. We recommend Katie and hope to be able to board Lucy with her in the future.”

“Laura watched my little 8 month Pomeranian girl puppy and everything went well. We had a meet and great a couple weeks ahead so she could meet my little pup and meet her two dogs as well they all got along fine and during her time there Tova, my pup had so much fun and I could tell she took real good care of her, sent me a few pics most of time I was not on WiFi. I would have her watch my little girl again.”

“We still cannot get over how amazing Saawan and Kangna are! We’ve never felt more comfortable leaving Piggy with anyone ever. The frequent updates and pictures we received were amazing, they went above and beyond, and we felt so reassured that Piggy was in good hands. Honestly, we’re a little hesitant to leave this review, because we want them all to ourself lol, but they are such incredible sitters, we couldn’t recommend them more!”

“This was Mali’s first stay and she loved her time with Damon! Damon sent us updates and pictures and she was obviously happy and well loved. She came home tired from playing with him and his dog Moose, who is a lovable lab. We have already booked Mali’s next stay with Damon.”

“Peter and his family did an excellent job providing care & love for my dog Nico while my family and I completed our permanent change of station (military). They were professional and courteous, even going above & beyond when they took Nico to an important veterinary appointment for plane travel. They have my highest recommendation”

“Allison was very accommodating with our dog Yoshi who still has a lot of puppy energy. I could tell that Yoshi had a great stay, he came back home calm and very affectionate. I'll definitely reach out to Allison for dog sitting in the future.”

“First time using Rover but Manisha completely blew us out of the water with her and her sweet families dedication to make our pup feel loved and at home. She did a great job at making sure all our requests were met and sent lots of updates on how our pup was doing throughout the week. We will be using Manisha again and would highly recommend!!”

“Kelsey did an amazing job with my dog! I was out of town for 5 days and needed a sitter to come let my dog Belle out a couple times each day. Kelsey stayed in great communication throughout the whole time and Belle LOVED her! Kelsey did everything that was needed plus she even tidied up each visit! I will definitely be using Kelsey again the next time I need a sitter!”

“As a Rover Sitter myself, I’m so grateful to have connected with Alison & Tom to look after our shy girl. They were patient, communicative, and went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and happy! What more could you ask for?”

“Andi was great with our cat Luna! She was even kind enough to bring in our packages while we were away. She provided great updates and sent plenty of pics making us feel at ease while we were on our trip. We’ve already re-booked with Andi for our next trip :)”

“Mary Anne took care of my 16 year old cat Suzy for two plus weeks while we were out of the country. She did an excellent job of keeping her fed and litter box control etc. She also took care of many extras without our asking like taking out our trash on garbage day. She also did some watering for me. I highly recommend Mary Anne.”

“Sam was fabulous. Very good, fast communicator, on time and won our cat over totally. It was so nice getting pictures of our cat snuggling up with her. Highly recommend.”

“A pet sitting angel! I was freaking out because of a last minute cancellation from another sitter, but Alex came to my rescue and took over the booking. Turns out that the other sitter cancelling was the best thing that could have happened because Alex is everything I could ever want from a sitter. They were incredibly responsive to my messages, they gave frequent updates throughout the day complete with photos, they administered medication to both my cats, they went above and beyond to even clean up the place while I was away…but most importantly, my boys seemed to absolutely adore them! Absolutely a 10/10 ✨”

“Thank you, Rie😘 Mr Wiggins 🐈⬛ says thank you, too!! He can’t wait to see you again 🐱 He loved all the attention 😄 Sure helps make him calmer when I get home 😄”

“Lucinda was such a help over Christmas! I ended up with one of my two cats needing pilled twice a day and ointment in his eye twice a day — he can be evasive and squirmy, too. Lucinda made sure he got his doses :) My house was clean and trash was even taken out when I got home!”

About: I previously worked as a veterinary technician, which gave me hands-on experience recognizing changes in animal health, supporting medical care, administering medications, and helping animals feel safe during stressful situations. I’m also a mental health therapist with specialized training in animal-assisted and animal-specific therapeutic work, which has strengthened my understanding of behavior, attachment, anxiety, and regulation in both people and animals. In addition, my family raised Guide Dogs for several years, so I have extensive experience with puppy development, obedience reinforcement, socialization, public access training, and maintaining consistent routines and expectations. That experience taught me how important patience, structure, calm energy, and clear communication are for helping dogs succeed. Pet care is already a central part of my daily routine. I structure my schedule around consistent walks, feeding routines, play, enrichment, and quality time with my own dog, so caring for additional pets feels like a natural extension of my day rather than something added on. I work with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for walks, check-ins, daytime care, medication routines, and maintaining consistency for pets who do best with structure and companionship. I genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors, going on walks, and creating calm, engaging environments for animals. I focus on creating a calm, safe, structured, and attentive environment where pets can feel comfortable while maintaining consistent routines and expectations. I tailor care to each animal’s personality, energy level, and needs, whether that means active play, enrichment, training reinforcement, or a slower, quieter environment. In my home, pets have access to a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, play, exercise, and potty breaks. I also have two friendly, well-socialized dogs who are accustomed to being around other animals and help create a welcoming environment for visiting pets. Safety and structure are very important to me, so all dogs staying in my home are crated when unsupervised or overnight to ensure everyone is safe, comfortable, and set up for success while preventing accidents or unnecessary stress. In clients’ homes, I work to maintain pets’ regular routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, exercise, and training expectations. I provide thoughtful updates, close supervision, and individualized attention so owners feel confident their pets are well cared for while they’re away.

“Louise has been absolutely exceptional with Amani. She is caring, reliable, patient, and truly goes above and beyond. Amani is always happy, playful, and comfortable around her, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. I really appreciate the attention, care, and energy she puts into every visit. It’s clear she genuinely loves animals and treats Amani like her own. I highly recommend Louise to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and amazing to care for their pet.”

“So grateful Matthew could help watch my place while I was gone. He was conscientious about sending me pics and updates and my neighbor enjoyed his conversation.”

“Terri did a great job with my very opinionated and large cat. He has not come out of hiding for prior sitters, but did for her!. He was delighted to have me home, and I was happy to have him well taken care of while I was gone.”

“My elderly parents no longer come across town to watch my cats so I was absolutely thrilled to find Rachael. My mind was at complete ease during my trip because she'd send me photos of my love bugs and I knew they were in good hands. She completely followed my instructions and I plan to hire her for my future trips.”

“Once again, Rachel did a great job checking in with my kitty Daphne while I was away. I always appreciate having Rachel's help while I'm traveling and I know Daphne loves her. I will keep booking Rachel whenever she is available!”

“I am so grateful to have found Damon to care for my girl Fiona. She is almost 14, blind, and diabetic, so I was nervous when my schedule changed and I was needing to find a daycare solution for her. I feel so comfortable dropping her off with him. I know that she will be well taken care of and he will quickly communicate any concerns.”

About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.
“Allison has been great every time we’ve taken our pups to her. She’s watched our boxer puppy twice and I don’t know how she still loves her little face after all the gremlining she does. Thank you so so much for watching and wearing out Keeley!”

“Peter and his family clearly love dogs! They were super responsive and sent photos throughout the day. Charlie loved playing with their dogs and we will absolutely be booking again! Highly recommend!”

“Our dogs always come home happy and calm from their play day at Angelica and Tyler's. They can't wait to get to their house so all our doggy dates are a win for everyone :-)”

“I felt so comfortable leaving my older little pup in Stephanie’s care. She truly loves pups, and takes extra care to create a safe and comfortable environment for the dogs. Thankful!”

“Alison is dependable, reliable and a great communicator. She takes great care of my Bernese mountain dog, who loves going to her place for day care. Thanks so mich”

“I needed day care services for the last 3 weeks. Susan & Ian were amazing! I requested dog pickup and drop off. I work 12 hrs a day and when I got home I came home to a tired and happy dog. It was like Christmas. I got pictures and video updates thought the day and report card at end of day. Kuka, my dog, loves their Rudy. They became buddies. I cant recommend them high enough!! Kuka went to doggie day care in the past and it always stressed her out. We tired 4 different places. She is super duper happy with Susan and family.”

“JJ did very well with Nana. He’s a little timid around other dogs and there were three other dogs. Nana took great care of JJ and we will definitely use her again! She sent videos and picture which were appreciated.”

“Jami is very diligent with sending pics/vids even when we don’t respond right away, with also sharing all needed updates about Mango. She’s straightforward, super helpful, very nice, reassuring, and keeps it a big world for your dog as she did for our Mango. She’s now our favorite and top person for anytime Mango would need daycare for the day or boarding when we have to leave for a trip.”

“Elizabeth was wonderful with Kiko. She captured all communication specifically with regards to Kiko's "nuances," and managed all wonderfully. I highly recommend Elizabeth!”

“Michael and Cheryl were fantastic with Bean! We did a meet and greet before hand and they helped settle my nerves about leaving him (I think I’m the one with separation anxiety ha!). I would definitely recommend them and Bean will see them in the future as well!”

“I am very happy with Marla & Keith, because Cassie received a lot of one-on-one attention. Marla is an expert at making a new dog (Cassie) feel at home in a new environment. Cassie was welcomed on walks with the other dogs - all of them much bigger than she is. And she got lap time too. The photos were a nice bonus. 😊”

“Allen has been the best caretaker for my Mini-Aussie, Mikka! We had a very thorough meet-and-greet for all questions and to meet his beautiful pup, Kaya. Mikka has spent the day with them 2 times now while I go to work and Mikka is now "a regular" every week. She has developed few anxiety issues during the pandemic and can be a bit reactive around other dogs, so I've been very hesitant about doggy day care in any other capacity, but Allen has listened to my concerns and been extremely careful with keeping an eye on her or introducing her to any other dog he's watching or who is using the magical little private gated dog park behind his house. He's been super helpful in correcting some of her behavior issues (like a very loud persistent bark that has made me crazy!), sends photos and updates frequently, and is very quick to communicate even in between stays. I'm so relieved my anxious dog is getting playtime and has such good care that I can trust every Tuesday, and she's making new dog friends finally. Thank you, Allen!”

“Marley could not wait to stay with Kirsten's family and.always looks forward to going back! I was thrilled knowing Marley wasn't just safe but loved. Kirsten and her family are just the best.”

“Asher loves going to daycare at Savannah’s! I totally trust her and know he’s well cared for and having so much fun when I’m working or out of town. 10/10 would recommend!!”

“I left my doggo, Mabel, with Vanessa for the day! I har Never been away from my dog before and I was super nervous. Vanessa took such great care of Mabel and made us both feel so comfortable while we were apart from each other. She even sent me pictures and updates !”

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.
“Alison and Tom were fantastic with our three pomeranians! They first did a meet and greet to make sure they could learn everything they needed to know about their care and personalities. We really appreciated that extra step. They visited the boys exactly when they said they would and sent us pictures while were gone along with updates. I'm so glad we found them and will definitely enlist their services again.”

“Wendi went ABOVE and BEYOND for my Quinn. She met with me before the date so that Quinn could meet her and while Quinn is normally a one woman pup (me) she went to Wendi immediately and began bringing Wendi her toys to share. That has literally never happened before. Wendi also was flexible when my times needed to be adjusted. She communicated with me about how the drop ins and walks went and sent pictures. She also wrote a lovely note and created a water color of my Quinn. (not AI, she actually painted it) I highly recommend Wendi! I know my daughter plans to use her when she needs a dog walker/sitter next.”

“Helped me out in a last minute request! My pup was so settled after his walks, I knew they had a good time and quality exercise. Also got to meet her dog, very gentle and sweet. 10/10”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I have experience with many different breeds of dogs and seniors. I have been known to refer to, as well as treat dogs like my own children. If you choose me to hang out with your dog I will treat them like my own best friend. I also have some experience with cats. Mostly just the basics; feeding, playing, and cleaning/changing out the litter box. I take and follow instructions very well, and if you invite me into your home to take care of your pet I will respect your space and your belongings. I recently moved to Oregon with my partner for his job. My schedule is wide open to take on both regular and one time clients. I will follow all instructions left to care for your pet. It’s very hard for me to leave my dog so I understand the trust that is placed in me to take care of your animal while you’re away. I can send updates and pictures if you’d like. At this moment I can’t bring animals into my home but that could change in the future.
“Corey has provided amazing services for my dog, Remington. I can always count on her as she is always reliable. She always has great communication skills and always updates me about Remington as needed. She’s definitely compassionate towards animals and I would recommend her for anyone needing services in the future. Also if you book with her she will send you super cute pictures of your animals on their walk!”

Katie’s yard is a dog haven - big fenced yard with so much room to run and roam around. We recommend Katie and hope to be able to board Lucy with her in the future.”

“Ron was very helpful taking my young energetic pup on pretty short notice for a long weekend! He was patient with her and definitely gave her some good outlets for play with other dogs because she was totally tired out when I picked her up.”

“Taylor and Liv were the best when it came to taking care of Atlas! They were very attentive, detail oriented, and made sure to update me daily on how Atlas was doing. They took him on plenty of walks and gave him lots of cuddles. I will absolutely be using them again in in the near future.”

“Kristopher was so kind, conscientious and meticulous with the care of our beloved babes! He sent great photos of them having a blast with him. 10/10 for sure, and we will be calling him again when we need pet care. So grateful! Thank you, Kristopher! :D”

“Abe was amazing. It was the first time leaving our boys with anyone. We were worried and did not know how it would go. Not only did he take wonderful care of our two dogs, he took pictures and gave them plenty of attention. I highly recommend Abe as he did a great job. Thank you Abe for taking care of our boys.”

“So happy to have come across Jennifer and Eric before boarding our pup. Seeing photos of him snuggling their kids and knowing he was being loved on all week gave us so much peace of mind while we were on vacation. Thank you guys so much!”

“Lexi had a great time with Paula and Scoobie. She sent lots of pictures of the activities they did while we were away. When we picked Lexi up, upon our return, she ran back to Paula and her husband to get some final loving from them both. Great to return to a happy dog!”

“Our older dog was taken care of wonderfully by this caring family. They easily managed his modified food prep and no-crate status. He came home relaxed and tired, with no signs of stress! We're happy to have found them for our short getaway!”

“Allison was very accommodating with our dog Yoshi who still has a lot of puppy energy. I could tell that Yoshi had a great stay, he came back home calm and very affectionate. I'll definitely reach out to Allison for dog sitting in the future.”

“As usual, our pup came home calm and happy as can be. Manny always has such a nice time with Ashley, and we love feeling at ease knowing he's being well taken care of. Thank you Ashley + Mom!”

“Our dog stayed with Angela over thanksgiving. She sent us daily updates with many pics. Could tell our dog was having a blast and getting tons of exercises in Angela’s large backyard. Highly recommend.”
