I work to follow each pet parent’s normal routine as closely as possible while making sure their pup receives plenty of attention, exercise, potty breaks, and affection throughout their stay. 🌅 Morning: Our first outdoor potty break is typically between 7:00–8:00 AM. ☀️ Lunch: Around lunchtime, we head outside for a good walk and potty break, giving your pup an opportunity to stretch their legs, explore, and get some fresh air. 🍽️ Dinner: Dinner and another outdoor break are typically around 6:00–7:00 PM. About: Hi there! I've been taking care of animals since I was young. Growing up on a farm gave me all the experience with all sorts of different animals. Here in the Portland metro area I take care of mostly dogs and cats, and the occasional chicken or two! Your furry, or feathery, friends will be treated with gentle care and compassion as all creatures need! I currently only work as a sitter so your friends and pet family will have my undivided attention and care. I am available every day each week and especially on holidays! For dogs that will be staying either daycare or overnight, there is a large doggie area at the back of my complex. There is also a long walking trail down the hill that I take dogs on that need some more exercise!

About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: I am a student and I have been involved with animals for years, I have lived with countless cats and dogs, a chinchilla, horses, reptiles and fish. Animals have always been extremely special to me and I would love to surround myself with them for work! Im super friendly, patient and flexible. I can also water plants. I am extremely knowledgeable in the plant world. I can tend, water, and give some advice/ tips if you happen to own any! I work in Event Management. I usually work mornings with my days completely free. Which also means I can be up early if need be. I recently moved to Portland in March 2025. I currently live in an apartment in SW Portland. I have a huge field near my apartment and it is a very dog friendly apartment. I am able to drive to anyones home in order to care for their pets.

She’s very observant of all of Alaska’s habits and asked really great question to really establish the best stay for Alaska. Brittany stayed in contact and sent photos and videos throughout Alaska’s stay which made me feel super assured that my pup was not only safe, but legitimately having the time of her life.
