This team of dog walkers is reliable, skilled, and loving. When an emergency comes up I know I can count on them to take care of our small pack. (For example, our two dogs have different needs/issues and Megan crafted a nature outing that suited them both.) Happy to recommend them to other pet owning households.

About: I have taken care of dogs, and pet/house sitting for friends, family, and other people throughout the last 6.5 years. My family had two dogs while growing up who I adored and loved taking care of. I also worked at a dog daycare for a bit during my freshman and sophomore years of college. I have always enjoyed being around dogs and spending time caring for them. They deserve all the love and attention they can get! I am detail-oriented and pay attention to the little things that matter. I do have a part-time job so I am available Mondays and Wednesdays after 11:00 am as well as Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays after 4:30 pm and anytime on the weekends. I have always loved working with and spending time with dogs. Being mindful of their body language, the environment they are in, and many other factors is important in making sure they are well cared for and comfortable. Dogs - just like humans, love their routine and I intend to stick to it. I love taking pictures and providing several updates while taking care of pets. I believe it is important to keep owners informed and up to date on how/what their dog is doing. Especially because I know that when I miss my dog it's always nice to know that they are okay.

Hannah and my 8-month-old Husky got along great! I really appreciated her willingness to meet my needs, including doing a late-night 10 PM walk each night for several days. She even worked on obedience training during their walks, which was such a huge bonus. It’s clear she knows how to handle energetic puppies and make the time productive as well as fun. Hannah also provided detailed updates after each walk, which gave me peace of mind. She is friendly, professional, and very flexible. When I had a scheduling conflict, Hannah was able to accommodate a last-minute change without any issues. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker!

About: I’ve taken care of my dog since I was 10 and begged my parents for him. I adore all dogs and will treat yours like my own. I love being active and playing with dogs. This past year I’ve volunteered to walk dogs at the local shelter too. I am a student athlete in college, so responsibility and care is something I understand very well. I am a hard worker and will communicate every step of the way. I am a college student with a very flexible schedule and I am also starting summer break soon. I have plenty of time to care for pups and give them the love they deserve! I have lots of experience dog sitting in client’s homes and will treat your home like it is my own. I always make sure to clean and lock up after, so you can feel confident that your home is safe. I will follow all instructions given to care for the pups and communicate well if any questions or issues come up.

Corey has been a lifesaver for my pug, Poppy, and me! She walks her 4 days a week and brings her son, Luke, with her which I love because Poppy's rarely around kids (plus, I know that between Corey and Luke, Poppy is getting a good dose of exercise during their visits). I am so grateful that they take such good care of my girl (and she captures great photos of her!). Thank you, Corey (and Luke)!

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I’ve always grown up with dogs, I raised mine back home since they were puppies. I would also dog sit for the family I babysat for very often! I’m currently working part time! I’m available all day Monday and Saturday, as well as Tuesday and Wednesday before 1:30 pm, and Friday after 2pm. Although I won’t be able to have any pets at my apartment, I’ve raised my 3 dogs since they were puppies so I have no issue cleaning up after them and teaching them how to go outside and go to the bathroom as well as playing with them, walking them, and lots of cuddles!

During our Meet and Greet, my dog Moose took a liking to Dayna immediately, and I felt very comfortable having her take care of him. I scheduled two different walks for days I was working longer hours, and even though Moose had an injury and couldn’t walk very far, Dayna was willing to help and followed my instructions for his walk. I took off one star because on the day of our second scheduled walk a week later, I noticed an hour after the scheduled walk that Dayna still hadn’t started the walk. I reached out to her and she replied right away that she had written the time down wrong and would come right away, and she arrived within about 10 minutes. It ended up not being a big deal and I appreciate that she was prompt once realizing the error, but if I hadn’t noticed and reached out I’m not sure if the walk would have happened.
