I have a cranky cat and am therefore unable to care for pets in my own home. However, I have a wide experience of pet sitting and housesitting and am able to stay for long periods of time to ensure they are getting enrichment, outside time, play time or whatever the case may be! I have experience with crating dogs, working with puppies and administering medication to cats and dogs. While caring for your pet, I’m also more than happy to bring in mail, take trash out/put cans on the curb, water plants, and other household tasks (:

Pets are like people, and everyone is unique. I love to know what is special or different about any animal before I work with them, whether it’s their personality type, any special preferences, obstacles, dietary restrictions etc.
A typical day
I love going on walks and hikes, especially when I can take a dog with me! I also enjoy taking dogs to parks and playing fetch with them, or just running around with them to get that energy out!! Since I’m a cat mom I am very good at engaging cats in play with toys, and giving them lots of scratches and pets! All pets will get the same amount of attention, love and care from me (:

Pet care experience
I grew up always having cats and dogs. Besides that, my family has also had hamsters, rats, fish, birds, geckos, and an iguana we rescued in our nearby park. My parents currently have a labradoodle that is 12. I helped train her as a puppy and she is a very good girl! They also have my childhood cat who is now 18 and only has one eye. I’ve been dog walking, dogsitting, catsitting, and housesitting since I was about 12. It started with neighbors and family friends, and expanded from there. Overall I really love taking care of animals!

Hannah was a wonderful pet sitter for my pet family. She cared for our dog, two cats and 5 chickens while we were out of town! She also brought in the mail, picked up the dog poop and walked the dog. She gave updates each day with photos, and we greatly appreciated it! Will use her again in the future!
Hannah always does an amazing job!! Very kind, responsible, and flexible when I had a very last minute trip come up. My kitty always looks happy and well taken care of with her, couldn't ask for anything better :)
