About: As well as having my own dog growing up, I’ve taken care of my friend’s dogs and love them like my own! You won’t have to worry about leaving your furry friend with me for an abundance of walks and care. I work part time and am available to spend time with your dog anytime after 9 am Tuesday through Saturday and all day Sundays and Mondays! About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. About: I have had dogs for most of my life and have dog sat for many friends and family members. I now have two kids ages 3 and 8 that want a dog, but we are not able to commit to that right now so would love to spoil yours! They will be given tons of attention and affection, but will need to be fairly mellow as my kids get used to having a dog around - they are a little scared of very high-energy, jumpy dogs ;). I work from home Mondays and Fridays and I am generally around on the weekends, so they will have plenty of attention! I can do potty breaks every couple of hours and walks twice per day.
