About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for friends, family and neighbors. I also have volunteered at a local dog rescue, and I would walk dogs. I also volunteered for a cat shelter where I would clean and assist in enrichment activities for the cats. I am currently working a remote part time job. I have plenty of flexibility and am also an early riser. My job is flexible, and I am able to flex my hours. I always ensure that I sick to mealtime schedules and enrichment times. I will also support crate training and potty training, if needed. Making sure that your pet is supported based on their individual needs is important to me.

About: Dogs are such a special part of our families. They speak so much love to us without saying a word. They truly teach us how to live in the moment, how to find joy in the little things and how to Love unconditionally. My life has been so richly blessed by having cared for these sweet Babies for most of my life. I have enjoyed raising a big variety of dog breeds....from the Gentle Giants down to the little toy breeds. I have also fostered and been a sitter for dogs as well. About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I have had dogs for most of my life and have dog sat for many friends and family members. I now have two kids ages 3 and 8 that want a dog, but we are not able to commit to that right now so would love to spoil yours! They will be given tons of attention and affection, but will need to be fairly mellow as my kids get used to having a dog around - they are a little scared of very high-energy, jumpy dogs ;). I work from home Mondays and Fridays and I am generally around on the weekends, so they will have plenty of attention! I can do potty breaks every couple of hours and walks twice per day. I often go to parks and also play outside a lot with the kids, so there will be plenty of activity! I have a fenced yard and we often play outside in our cul de sac so would have them on a leash out front. I am happy to crate the dog if you are comfortable with that and bring one. They are welcome on our couches.

About: We can offer discounts on stays longer than 4 days. We do not offer them on holiday stays. Your dog will be loved and cared for as if it were my own dog Elijah! They will have all of the ear scratches and belly rubs it could ever want. Ours is an all girl home so if your dog has a fear of men then the fur baby would be content here. We do have cats so your dog being cat savvy is a must. Our animals are welcome to sleep with us in our beds and yours would be too if that is something they are used to. We are also not fans of kennels and do not use them with our own animals, but can if you prefer your dog to be in one. We are willing to go above and beyond for your fur baby to make them feel right at home while you are away. Also know that the prices are not fixed. If your dog is under a year and is house trained it gets the adult price. About this sitter: I am willing to watch your dog in your home to make your time away from your animal easier on him/ her. Keeping your dog in it's natural environment can ease the strain on your dog(s) and prevent stress caused by separation. I hope to help your dog(s) feel comfortable and happy while you are away. They will be loved like they were my own fur babies. I am also completely open to having my dog come to play with your dog if you would like. We could even arrange play dates if they get along swimmingly. I am more than willing to do anything to make your animals happy. Also know that your dog will be walked once for free each day I watch it. Dog walking prices are for overly active dogs and for people who JUST want their dog walked not dog-sat. I have been pet sitting for 8+ years Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs my whole life. I grew up with a golden retriever, a black lab, and a mutt for 8 years. Then I spent 3 years of my life with a Pomeranian named Molly who is my god father's dog. I currently have one wonderful dog named Teramisu who I rescued from the shelter and have had since she was 9 months old. I love her very much. I have spent a lot of time dog sitting both full grown dogs and puppies as well. Meet my pets 6 cats About my yard I sadly do not have one right now. Or rather I have no personal yard. I live in a complex with a lot of green space and walking trials. I also live down the street from a really nice dog park as well. I do most of the sitting myself. I do on occasion have help from my older sister Misty. She and I have been pet sitting together for over 10 years. She steps in when an emergency keeps me away or a timing conflict with my day job or other sittings occur just to keep things running smooth and your pets well cared for. I work mornings and early afternoon. I am off around 3:30pm or earlier during the week currently and I am usually off on Fridays and Saturdays. I can work it around that otherwise. I am happy to offer dog walking, pop in visits, or daycare in your home. I live in an apartment and already have pets so I am unable to host pets in my home per my lease.

About: I’ve pet sat for almost 5 years now along with also having a dog of my own! I love meeting new furry friends, spending time and learning from them. I typically tend to house sit for the same 3 people and it’s been an amazing journey with them. I can’t wait to expand to other people and pets! 💗 I’m very skilled when it comes to walking dogs with reactivity or sensitivities to “scary things” also with dogs who love to pull on walks. That’s all stuff I experienced with my own pup and I know how important safety is when it comes to other animals. I currently am enrolled in beauty school part-time and am looking to make some extra money to support myself. Why not do that while doing things I love? Walking, being outside and hanging out with adorable pets all day long. It’s quite literally the dream. So excited to spend my summer this way and hopefully becoming your pets new bestie! (Besides you of course). Since I only go to school part time, my main attention can be directed towards your pet so they never feel alone and I’m able to watch them 24/7. I never want them to be bored or left alone for too long. Companionship is important not only to us but for them as well. I currently just plan on helping out in other peoples homes as I am currently staying somewhere I cannot board dogs or cats :(

About: I've always been an admirer of animals and have a respect for their individual personalities. While their safety is my utmost priority, I realize that a solid rapport is just as necessary. I feel that walks are not just necessary for their relief but also to maintain their physical and mental well-being. I prefer to let your dog go at its own pace, whether relaxed or energetic, but also to let them enjoy their surroundings at their leisure. When we're at home, I'm always down to play with your pet, sit with them quietly, or give them their space. I'm a musician with a flexible schedule so it's easy for me to work around the needs of clients and their pets. I have plenty of time for walks during the day and many evenings are free for sitting. I always follow a client's detailed instructions regarding feeding, walks, and hygiene, and medicine. I always do my best to make sure the animal knows I'm there to be their friend and to take care of them.

I'm good with just taking a walk, feedings or just play time I'm open to any type of care. I am smoke-free and drug-free. I'm organize and can work around most schedule. About: I have a very positive personality that I bring out in all work that I do. I am a practicing Speech Language Pathologist with a 3 year old pup of my own—Louie. I have taken care of pets through rover, as well as used it for my own pet care needs. I moved around the Portland area a bit, so I took a break from Rover, but now my life is more settled and I’m happy to take your fur-babies on walks, or drop in! I live in Mountain Park and would be happy to cover any “last minute” dog needs that you have. My schedule will allow for 1-3 walks/drop in visits per day. My most availability is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I pride myself in being thorough and paying attention to detail. I will follow any and all instructions that you provide. Having a dog of my own, I can supply poop bags and treats if necessary.

About: I have been an animal lover and had many kinds of pets throughout my whole life. I have been pet sitting since I was a kid so I have over 15 years of experience. I have experience with senior pets and pets who have special medical needs such as medications or subcutaneous fluid administration. I have two lovely cats and would lover to have a dog of my own again someday. I am a new graduate nurse who is looking to fill my time while I look for a job in nursing. I am home all week and don’t typically leave for more than a couple hours at a time. I have two cats, one is almost 2 years old and the other almost a year.
