About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember and have spent half my life caring for them! I've been lucky to have all my living situations infused with pets - usually dogs. I always act as part-time carer. Walks, hanging out, feeding? Easy. Sneaking medicine in treats? I've had to trick a couple of dogs in my time. The messy bits - poop, vomit...I am unphased. We can't say enough good things about our experience working with Deborah! This was our first big trip since one of our cats went through some serious health scares this year, so we were anxious about leaving them for this extended trip. After meeting Deborah though, it became clear that she is such a thoughtful, caring cat sitter and that we'd have nothing to worry about. The cats were immediately at ease with her, and she was so committed to understanding our cats' specific needs (including giving meds, tracking weight, and working with our vet tech to administer subcutaneous fluids). During the trip she sent us regular detailed updates and made sure to ask questions whenever any of the directions we left were unclear. We loved receiving so many wonderful photos and videos of the cats playing with Deborah - it allowed us to fully enjoy our time with family seeing how much love and care our kitties were getting over the holidays (especially our one cat that is typically so shy with new people!). Returning home, it's as if we never left. The kitties were so relaxed (clearly having received so much love and attention from Deborah) and the home was neat and tidy. Our medically challenged boy somehow had more energy than before we left! Whether you have young or senior kitties, and whether you need drop-in visits or long-term care, we can't recommend Deborah enough. She is truly a cat whisperer, and we are so grateful we found her! We will 100% be asking her for help again during any future travel. Thank you for everything Deborah!
