Katie has some sort of animal-speaking magic, because whenever my skittish cat hears her voice, you can see her whole cat body relax, like she's under a spell. All my pets, including my super spirited husky and border collie w/ PTSD, ADORE her. She's especially good at giving medication and and coaxing reluctant animals to let her handle them for treatment, and she has a soft spot for older and special needs animals. She's also very strong and can lift my big dogs up stairs and into the car, which gives me peace of mind that they'll be able to get to the vet quickly in an emergency. She's got so much empathy for animals, and genuinely understands their body language and how to communicate with even the most difficult cases.
