About: I have two cats myself, Muffins and Noralise. Nora is 3, she’s loud and a little chunky but we love her just as well. Muffins is 6, she’s quiet and loves snuggles with her mom. Specific to cats- I occasionally take my girls on stroller walks. Some fresh air in a safe little space getting some outdoor exposure. Muffins has gingivitis, so I have some experience in dental care in the form of treats/gels. Nora is a little overweight, so I have been working with her on more play time. Helping my girl exercise. I am comfortable with topical and oral medicine. For cats that do not bite, and aren’t freighted, I am comfortable with nail trims. ( Must be otherwise healthy nails ) Comfortable likewise with nail care, brushing/removing undercoat. About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I always stick closely to owner instructions and give updates so you know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: Hi I'm Brittaney! Multi cat owner and Oregon Humane Society adult volunteer. I have 9 years of experience caring for cats, including feeding, litter care, playtime, and administering medication. I’ve also provided professional cat care during weeklong stays. For dogs, I offer gentle, reliable walks to help them stay active and happy. I make sure all pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved, paying attention to their routines and personalities so every visit is tailored to them. I provide daily cat care and dog visits on a semi-flexible schedule. Morning visits: M,W,TH,F 8:30/9am-9:30am and 9am-9:30am on Saturdays Mid-day visits: Wednesday 10:00–1:30pm Evenings: M,Th,S 6pm - any Unavailable: Tuesdays (Sabbath) & Sundays I do not provide overnight care at this time- sorry! Note: I work full-time, so a little flexibility with visit times is appreciated. I provide pet care only in clients’ homes for two reasons: I want pets to be in the comfort of their familiar environment and I have two cats of my own that are territorial. Your pets’ safety, trust, and well-being are my top priorities, and I want to make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and cared for while following their usual routines.

He picked her up after we left early in the morning and sent us a confirmation photo from the car of her happy face to let us know she was safely in his care. We received another video later of her, Damon’s dog and another border playing happily in the very large fenced back yard. We never have a worry when Mali is in Damon’s care. He is attentive snd it is obvious by how she responds to him that he gives her as. Much love and attention as we do, and the built in play mates are wonderful for her as well!”
“Kristopher saved the day when our regular neighborhood dog sitter fell through. I had never used rover.com before, so I was shocked to even be able to find someone on such short notice. Less than a minute after I logged onto the website, Kristopher responded that yes, he was available. Talk about fast response time! Wow! He then sent beautiful, professional quality photos of our dog during the three day stay. He also made dropoff and pickup so easy. If we lived closer to his house, Kristopher would be our go-to dog sitter. Thank you for being so great, Kristopher!”
